Chapter 13: The Treasure in the Storage Ring, the Frozen rmaid.
“Young Master, you’re back.”
“Did soone bully you?”
dusa, lounging on the sofa, noticed that Chen Fan didn’t look too pleased and asked in a low voice.
“Bullying is a bit of an exaggeration.”
Chen Fan shook his head and said, “I’m going to take stock of my gains first, then head back and kill them.”
“Oh, right, help take her to the room first!”
As he spoke, Chen Fan pointed at dusa.
“dusa?”
“But her bloodline isn’t the sa as ours.”
Queen dusa frowned slightly.
“She should also be a dusa, but not from your world.”
“She cos from a magical world.”
“Magic is a different kind of cultivation system,” Chen Fan explained.
“Indeed, she doesn’t seem particularly strong.”
Queen dusa nodded.
“Maybe she’s from so low-dinsional magical world.”
Chen Fan offered, then closed his eyes, and his spiritual sense entered the storage ring.
A colossal dragon corpse lay sprawled across the space, still emanating dragon might.
The corpse was remarkably well-preserved, showing no signs of rot.
From the chest, blood still slowly seeped out.
This was at least a 90%-fresh dragon corpse—extrely valuable.
At the heart of its chest was a ten-ter-long iron spear impaled through it.
The dragon had been slain in a single strike.
Even the spear still radiated a nacing aura.
It should fetch a good amount of points.
But it was far too long—the whole house couldn’t contain it.
Then, Chen Fan’s spiritual sense swept across various corners of the storage space.
Soon, he discovered a pile of crystals, varied in color and size—each exuding mixed energies and a faint trace of negative emotion.
“Magic beast cores…”
Chen Fan’s eyes lit up slightly.
Magic cores were considered fairly common treasures, often used as cultivation resources.
But due to their chaotic energies and lingering negative emotions from the beasts’ deaths,
They couldn’t be directly absorbed and had to be used with caution.
Still, that was no obstacle for the humans of this era.
So alchemists could refine them into attribute-specific pills, which were highly marketable.
Powerful factions had also developed artifact tools to purify the magic core energy,
turning them into pure energy crystals—excellent for cultivation.
Unfortunately, patents were highly valued in this age, and such profitable thods were surely monopolized.
Not just anyone could process them.
Thus, magic cores remained a hot commodity in the marketplace.
Every city had multiple buying stations.
“I’m not selling them!”
Chen Fan sneered.
He knew that if he sold them, the profits would go to others.
Why not recycle them himself and earn the points?
With a wave of his palm, all the magic cores were drawn out.
There were over a hundred in total.
Among them, five were the size of chicken eggs.
After thinking for a mont, he set aside the five largest ones,
intending to try fusing them later to see what he could create.
“System, recycle all the magic cores!”
Chen Fan commanded silently, pressing his palm onto the pile.
In an instant, all the cores vanished.
At the sa ti, Chen Fan’s point total increased by 21,000.
“No wonder—they’re energy-filled cores. That’s quite a haul.”
Chen Fan grinned widely.
With 21,000 points, he could go wild in battle.
As long as he wasn’t killed instantly, even fatal wounds could heal in seconds.
To him, that was the most heaven-defying regeneration ability.
After exchanging for the points, Chen Fan’s spiritual sense re-entered the storage ring.
He spotted several intact enchanted weapons.
After a brief hesitation, he had the system recycle them all, too. Gaining another 3,000 points.
Now, he had a total of 24,300 points.
Instantly rich.
“A magician’s journal?”
Before long, he dug out a thick book.
This ti, he didn’t choose to recycle it.
He figured he could study magic properly when he had the ti.
“Huh…”
In one corner of the storage ring, a chilling presence caught Chen Fan’s attention.
His spiritual sense swept toward it and found a massive block of ice.
It radiated extre cold, freezing even the air around it.
“Hmm?”
Chen Fan soon noticed sothing strange—a living being seed sealed inside the ice.
He tried probing with his spiritual sense.
“A rmaid…”
Chen Fan was stunned.
Inside the ice was a rmaid—
A golden tail, glittering scales, a flawless body with sculpted curves like a work of art.
A breathtakingly beautiful face, with long golden hair that seed to drift inside the ice.
On her forehead was a blue magical sigil.
On her head was a golden crown, inlaid with seven differently colored gemstones, each radiating pure magic energy.
It was obvious—this frozen rmaid was a powerful magician, perhaps even a queen of the rmaid race.
“Damn… do I just have so kind of fate with tailed beings…”
Chen Fan couldn’t help laughing and crying.
He couldn’t tell whether the rmaid was dead or not.
But that crown on her head—it was worth a fortune.
“I’ll try waking you up when I have ti.”
“For now, it’s revenge ti!”
He took off the storage ring and set it on the sofa.
With over 20,000 points, he had plenty to burn.
