Chapter 10: Slaying Enemies, Looting Corpses, and Picking Up a dusa!
In the center of a hundred-mile radius, a mountain-like heap lood.
It exuded an air of decay.
Withered branches, rotting wood, and muddy debris were piled together—whatever was buried beneath remained unknown for now.
Only after digging would the truth be revealed.
“So this junk space will rge with Blue Star once it disappears.”
This was Chen Fan’s first ti in such a junk space station, so he was brimming with curiosity.
He noticed that the young people appearing in this space seed to hail from all over the nation.
For example, about twenty ters to his right stood a Western youth.
Exceptionally handso, but with a chillingly stern expression.
He carried himself with a lofty, condescending air.
Not far from him stood a blonde woman.
Her figure was incredibly voluptuous.
She exuded a hint of seduction.
No one made a move just yet—everyone was cautiously sizing each other up.
“I sense the presence of magic!”
“So the treasures here must be from our Western magical world.”
“Friends from the Eastern world, you may leave now!”
“Don’t make clean you out myself!”
The stern-faced Western youth was extrely domineering, directly declaring ownership of this junk field.
After speaking, he casually shot a cold and disdainful glance at Chen Fan.
“What arrogant nonsense!”
“You’re just at the twenty-fifth layer of the Mortal Realm—you don’t get to speak here!”
No sooner had the Western youth finished speaking than a scornful voice floated over from a distance.
It was a young man from Qinxia, dressed in ornate robes with an air of noble dignity, clearly from a prestigious clan.
“Well said, Brother Qin!”
“We can ignore the treasures, but the barbarians must be slain!”
Another voice chid in, this ti from a burly man who stepped forward, his tone even more aggressive.
The East and West had long-held grudges. If the older generation fought with restraint, the younger generation fought with abandon.
After all, the young were hot-blooded and impulsive by nature.
“Woom…”
At that mont, everyone looked up.
A figure was falling from the sky.
It seed to be a corpse, but it radiated a treasure-like aura.
And it was falling straight toward Chen Fan.
“When luck cos, you can’t even stop it!”
Chen Fan laughed, pushed off with his legs, and leaped into the air.
“Boom!”
As he caught the corpse, a trendous force slamd down.
Had he not caught it, the impact alone would’ve shattered the body completely.
“Hand it over!!”
Just as Chen Fan caught the corpse, he sensed a sharp killing intent from below.
The Western youth was charging at him, blade in hand, sword qi surging, slashing straight at Chen Fan.
This strike left him with two choices: drop the body, or take the hit.
“You’re just twenty-fifth layer—where does all that arrogance co from?”
Chen Fan remained utterly fearless. Though he had only opened nineteen orifices, the power from the first one alone was overwhelming.
Not to ntion, he possessed a peerless divine weapon.
With a flash, the Phoenix Bone Blade at his waist was drawn and swung forcefully to et the incoming sword.
“Clang!”
At the mont of impact, the opponent’s sword was cleaved in two, while the Phoenix Bone Blade remained unstoppable.
“Pfft…”
The blade sliced right into the Western youth’s chest, blood spraying out.
“Impossible…”
Clutching his chest mid-air, the youth growled in disbelief.
His weapon wasn’t so cheap item—he had paid a steep price for it. Yet in Chen Fan’s hands, it was utterly worthless.
“Kill!”
Strike while he’s down.
The mont Chen Fan landed, he lunged forward and raised his short blade.
“Damn it…”
“I’ll rember you!”
Only now did the Western youth react. Knowing he couldn’t dodge in ti, he activated his imprint to try and escape.
But it was too late—he had underestimated Chen Fan’s speed.
“Pfft!”
The sharp blade cleaved the youth clean in two.
For a mont, the entire field was in shock.
Many could tell Chen Fan was only at the nineteenth layer of the Mortal Realm.
Yet his explosive strength was terrifying.
A twenty-fifth layer powerhouse was killed in an instant.
“A storage ring?”
“Looks like I took down soone important.”
“Probably so disciple of a powerful faction.”
Chen Fan’s eyes were imdiately drawn to a plain-looking ring on the man’s finger, and he smiled.
He didn’t care in the slightest.
There was nothing to worry about.
He didn’t believe the guy’s backers would dare cross oceans just to hunt him down.
And even if they did, there was a female emperor sitting at ho.
So, without hesitation, Chen Fan chopped off the man’s finger and took the ring.
Such a brutal act made many around him feel a chill.
The practiced way he did it—this was clearly not his first ti.
The alluring woman closest to Chen Fan instinctively took a few steps back.
Chen Fan ignored everyone else. He wiped off the ring and tucked it into his pocket.
Only then did he turn his attention to the corpse he had set aside.
“No way?”
“Another dusa?”
“But this one’s Western?”
Staring at the woman on the ground, Chen Fan was stunned.
Another flawless figure—except this ti, the serpentine tail was golden.
“Am I fated with dusas or what?”
After picking up two dusas in a row, Chen Fan didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Then, he checked the dusa’s breathing—very faint, on the verge of death.
A golden arrow was lodged in her chest.
