Chen Donghai handed two LV shopping bags to Chen Cheng, who accepted them, "Alright, no need to wait for ."

After Chen Donghai drove off, Chen Cheng went upstairs.
He still had so concerns about Xia Yubing and Tong Jialu.
He knew that this year, neither of them returned ho for the New Year. Initially, they planned to celebrate together, but the sudden trip to Hainan disrupted their plans.

At the door, Chen Cheng rang the doorbell.

Tong Jialu handed Chen Cheng a pair of slippers while laughing, "You must be here for my sister, right?"
"Those words hurt my feelings." Chen Cheng also laughed, "I specially bought you gifts. If you don’t want them, I’ll return them."
Tong Jialu quickly took the two shopping bags, "I want them, I want them. I never said I didn’t want them~"
Chen Cheng walked inside, "About the car I promised you, did you pick one?"
"Not yet." Tong Jialu replied, "You weren’t here, so I waited for you to co back."
"Alright, let’s take a look this afternoon."
Chen Cheng enjoyed the way Tong Jialu and Xia Yubing interacted with him; they knew when to advance and retreat, and understood boundaries.
"Thank you, Brother Cheng~" Tong Jialu hugged and kissed Chen Cheng.
Chen Cheng hugged her back, "Where’s your sister?"
"She’s lying in the room." Tong Jialu led Chen Cheng, saying, "Sister’s morning sickness is really bad, she’s been unable to eat much and keeps throwing up what little she does eat."
"Also, since you weren’t in Beijing, I had no choice but to ssage Brother Xiao Hai."

Xia Yubing squeezed Chen Cheng’s hand back, "But seeing you back makes feel a lot better."
Her morning sickness had been severe lately, and with Chen Cheng not around, she felt a bit lonely.
Seeing him back now made her feel much more at ease.
"Sister, Brother Cheng brought you gifts." Tong Jialu also sat on the bed, "It’s your favorite LV."
"Thank you, hubby."
Xia Yubing touched Chen Cheng’s hand, "Honestly, just you coming to see makes very happy."

Xia Yubing lifted her loungewear, and Chen Cheng leaned in.
"Brother Cheng, can you hear anything?" Tong Jialu was also curious.
Chen Cheng listened attentively, "Seems like there’s movent."

Chen Cheng rembered that the small villa had closed before he left for Hainan.
