The apartnt arranged by Chen Jin was a two-bedroom flat with both southern and northern exposures; although not large, its layout was sensible, and lighting and ventilation were very good.
The furniture and appliances in the room were all-inclusive and brand new, evidently specially prepared for Liu Zhiying.
Chen Jin pointed to one of the south-facing bedrooms and said to Liu Zhiying:
“Miss Liu, how do you like this bedroom? The lighting is very good, and there’s even a small balcony. You can enjoy the sun and take care of so flowers in your free ti.”
