Chapter 184. Double Booster
Amazingly, he has leveled up by 3.
Vulcan’s level instantly rose from 1271 to 1274, and Vulcan’s eyes grew as wide as they could possibly grow.
It was true that he was at the cusp of leveling up as he has piled up a lot of experience when he defeated King Athildhu.
Having said that, however, he did not expect the level to go up by 3, so the surprise that he felt was beyond his imagination.
‘There was only 1 ti in which the level rose by 2 …..’
Even that occurred during the Rubel Continent tis that he could not even rember as it was such a long ti ago.
Vulcan exclaid in exhilaration due to the massive experience level that he has montarily forgotten to even appreciate the sense of fulfillnt as he ca to that understanding.
“Phew. This is really insane.”
Vulcan shook his head to say that it was unbelievable.
That wasn’t everything.
The craftiness levels of his skills, which have not risen for a long ti since he went through a physical transformation in Act 2, have all ranked up at the sa ti
In fact, he didn’t care too much about the defensive skill level at this ti, but it was certainly great news that the battle and evasion skills have gone up to the SSS levels.
On top of that, the notifications that the ‘thunder dragon walk’ and ‘thunder dragon dash, which were only legendary skills, were upgraded only told him that good lucks were rolling in.
[Legendary skill – Thunder dragon dash]
[Level limitation: 1000]
[Skill level limitation: Beyond SSS Lightning Mastery level]
It was the movent skill that allows one to move by having one to beco the lightning itself by going beyond borrowing the power of lightning. As if one has shed the physical shell, it allows one to move at incredible speed by ignoring the gravity and inertia. The movent transcends the thunder dragon.
300% increase in movent speed during offensive maneuver.
100% increase in the movent speed during evasive maneuver.
Allows the freedom of movent since not bound by gravity and inertia.
The basic performance of the skill itself could not be graded as being highly outstanding.
However, he was more than happy to rate the skill, which allowed movents that transcend the hindering constraints of physical limitations, as high as he could.
It was certainly an aweso developnt.
That was, it was truly a growth that leaped in bounds, rather than moving along a linear line of growth progression.
Vulcan was in the midst of euphoria from the sense of fulfillnt that he was getting from it.
Then a being ca into his mind.
With that, his countenance hardened and vulgar words were murmured.
“That miserable Kaozinta….”
Kaozinta, the true demon who gave him the countless many tis of humiliation and frustration.
At one ti, he was under the incredible amount of pressure of having to constantly fight him, but such ti of powerlessness has long been passed, at this ti.
Vulcan was able to shed all the fears that were inside him at so point in ti.
On top of that, considering the present situation in which he has added thunder dragon dash and two SSS level skills…. He thought that he wouldn’t be easily defeated even to Kaozinta who was at 1430 level.
Puddddeuck.
Vulcan was grinding his teeth as if he was sharpening the blades of revenge while he thought about all the terrible pains that he had suffered.
Finally, he examined his physical condition.
With the exception of the absent stat due to the difference in the levels, he felt that he has even reached the 1400 level.
At this level, Vulcan thought that he ought to be able to deliver a powerful punch even if he might not be able to defeat Kaozinta.
‘Alright. This ti for sure…. I should be able to see his miserable face cringe this ti. Then I should get ready as Kaozinta would arrive soon…. Um?’
Vulcan was ntally preparing himself for the imminent arrival of Kaozinta.
Then a slight doubt passed through his mind.
Ever since they t for the first ti, Kaozinta had always entered the room as soon as he was regenerated as if he had been expecting him.
Such a person did not enter this place while he was reaching an understanding, and leisurely verifying such conditions like this?
That was impossible.
‘Co to think of it, the fact that the quest is complete ans that it has been 1 year…..’
Only after arriving at such reasoning, Vulcan quickly reviewed the system window.
He ca to a conclusion, after verifying that it took him exactly 1 year to complete the quest, and murmured sothing as if he did not understand it.
“Did the bastard… Leave?”
That was the only logical thing for him to think.
If it wasn’t that, that implied that the bastard took it easy on him while he was roaming the unconscious world, but thinking about his rciless character, that was not a possibility.
Besides, it has been a while already since he awoke.
The fact that he didn’t appear even after so much ti has passed could only ant….
“He must have left….for sure.”
Having murmured such words, Vulcan sat down with a complicated look on his face.
He was feeling confused by the fact that there was a mixed feeling from the regret of not being able to successfully deliver a single damaging hit over the last 10 years, and the sense of relief from escaping the cycles of pain in which he might have had to endure for few more years.
Vulcan was organizing his thoughts in that way for a while.
He road around the expanded activity area to see if he might find Kaozinta by any chance, but he was nowhere to be seen.
It appeared as if he had permanently left this place.
“…….”
Vulcan returned to the temple, where in only the monsters remained, and he ultimately decided to exit Naraka after deciding to end the god mode in order to reenter in demon mode.
There were no good reasons anymore for him to remain here since he has achieved the targeted quest in the first place, and that Kaozinta who he sought for so long could not be found anywhere.
On top of that, he was also concerned that he might be trapped in this place for over one hundred years of ti, should a true demon that was stronger than Kaozinta was to appear.
‘It said that a new quest will be waiting if I was to reenter in demon mode, so let get out of here first. As far as the god mode was concerned…. If for any reason, should I have to return in the future due to the creation of a new quest, or a particular event then I could always co back. It is just regretful that I could not take revenge against Kaozinta….. Oh well.’
Vulcan has decided for sure.
After opening the system window, he placed his hand to the exit button.
Shooooow
It must have been certain that there weren’t any intruders inside the temple as Vulcan has imdiately exited Naraka.
He felt hesitant as he looked towards the exit door of Naraka, then he went back to his own turf by shedding his reluctance.
‘Well… It is possible that I might hear about Kaozinta while I live in demon mode. Let forget about it for now.’
Having buried the events of Kaozinta in his chest like that, Vulcan spent the next 1 year quite busily.
He spent ti making excuses for having been away for so long, saying that he might also be absent for a long while in the future, and capturing demon kings as he went around the demon world as he had done in the past.
After spending exactly 365 busy days like that for the purpose of returning in demon mode, he has reentered Naraka, the world of the true demons.
*****************
[You have chosen the demon mode.]
[Quest created!]
[Ordinary quest – Challenge! Level up!]
[Difficulty – A level (demon world standard)]
[Reward – Naraka exclusive money (a fixed amount will be given at the ti of each leveling up)]
*You have infiltrated Naraka, the place where the true demons can freely co and go, in a disguise. Devote the next 50 years in leveling up by utilizing the excellent convenient facilities and system capabilities of Naraka. Keep in mind that more reward amount is possible with every level up.
‘…. I believe this is the first ti for a quest which involves money and levels.’
Vulcan showed a little bit of fluttery on his face as he encountered a fresh quest, but he soon found peace.
He has been feeling that there was sothing weird about the system since he ca up in to Act 3.
Vulcan thought that it was no longer amazing to get a sense that the system was dynamically creating useful quests which were customized for my situation at every turn, rather than providing a fixed quest.
Of course, it was true that he felt a bit strange with the continuing quest that was being provided without any price, but then what could he have done.
As he has not reached the level that transcends the system limitations, he had no other choice, but to move along with the quest.
‘I feel like it is trying to train in so way… Alright. I’ll grow as quickly as possible, so that the system could no longer contain .’
Shaking his head, he shed the thoughts about the being of the ultimate god, and then he closed the quest window and surveyed the surrounding area.
Regardless, Vulcan’s thought was to remain in Naraka for the next 50 years without going to anywhere else.
He had inford Powell, Hoculus, Hamilton, and others that he was going to be at a closed training, so nothing was bothering him and he could totally concentrate on the quest.
And in order to complete that quest in an excellent fashion, he had to first analyze everything about Naraka.
‘It told to use the excellent facilities of Naraka…. In fact, when I was in Asgard, I recall that I did not particularly think that the facilities, being managed by the gods, were that important…..’
Of course, he had received help from the blacksmith’s workshop and the auction facility that it was hard to say that they were the deciding factors.
Then, how well were the convenient facilities maintained in Naraka that even the system was saying that they were ‘excellent’ facilities?
When Vulcan was blankly looking around with such thoughts, a few true demons, which were watching him, began to make fun of him with ridiculing smile.
“Who is that fool.”
“Is it his first ti in Naraka?”
“He must have luckily picked up a true demon’s certificate. Tsk, tsk. Looking at his dumb appearance, he will most likely be torn to death by the ancient gods.”
“Dummy, fool.”
“That dumb bastard.”
“…..”
Vulcan left he place as he felt awkward by the offensive comnts of the aboriginals which were very different from Asgard.
And he began to explore the city by maintaining the appearance of a true demon as if he was very used to Naraka.
And not after too long, he learned why the system’s information included the words of advice by telling him to utilize ‘the excellent convenient facilities’.
-Hello. Welco to Naraka, the world made for the true demons by the blessings of the great demon god. Based on our records, it looks to be your first ti in Naraka. Is it alright for to provide basic information about Naraka?
“Yes? Uh? Uh… OK.”
Vulcan was aimlessly walking around to find out what kind of buildings were there.
Then he saw a few small demons.
As if they were the helper NPCs in a ga, they all wore the sa clothes, had the sa appearances, had the sa postures, and were positioned at several locations in the city.
He curiously scanned one of them, and found out that they were, in fact, NPCs.
[The helpers to Naraka novices]
[No level]
[Character: None]
[Potential: None]
*They are the entities which facilitates entrances of the true demons into Naraka. They have almost all the knowledge that the novices may seek. They will respond with detailed answers when asked.
“….Wow, can’t believe such beings are here.”
Surprised, Vulcan even stuttered.
One of the small demons which t Vulcan’s eyes smiled as he approached him. Then he began to autonomously share the basic information, and Vulcan was able to obtain information on Naraka much easier than the ti when he fell into Asgard for the first ti.
It was truly an excellent arrangent that the expression ‘convenience’ could be automatically applied.
However, it was too early to be amazed.
As more was told by the novice helper, Vulcan exclaid by learning that Naraka was more structurally ford compared to Asgard.
Several true demons picked on Vulcan when they saw him being amazed, but Vulcan no longer cared about those things.
Vulcan was focused on the small demon’s explanation for a long while.
The words of amazent escaped from his mouth.
“Then you are implying that with just money, you can obtain equipnt or even skills in Naraka?”
-That’s correct. You can use the weapons store, clothing store, general rchandise store, book store, and any other convenient facilities, which are needed in achieving growth by the true demons, with the money that are earned whenever you capture a monster. With the blessings of the demon god, all rchandise is automatically filled with what are appropriate at every level, so you do not have to even worry about inventory.
‘Huh…. Asgard cannot be even compared to this.’
Naturally, Vulcan was comparing it with Asgard which also provided similar services.
In fact, he was thinking how great a demon world could possibly be, at the beginning.
However, as he was listening more and more about Naraka which seed to be an upgraded version of Asgard, he strangely felt bad.
‘What is it…I am not feeling good about learning the fact that Asgard is at least a level below….’
He felt as if he had lost a fight against the demons.
Of course, as it wasn’t a big enough deal to be thinking much deeper about it, his focus has soon turned to another topic.
There was one thing that he thought that ‘this was it’ while he was learning about the many convenient facilities from the helper.
Vulcan asked a question about it, and a reply imdiately ca back.
-Yes. As you’ve said, the book store provides books that you can purchase in order to learn the art of fighting, sorcery, magic, and other various techniques. From being able to purchase novice skills for those who have not attained the demon king level, to incredible techniques for those who have reached great powers like the great demon kings. And things for various fields are prepared. Only that, you have to keep in mind as the price needed to purchase varies trendously.
Having heard that, Vulcan scread out in elation and imdiately asked for the location of the book store before dashing towards the book store.
He had no interest at all in the convenient facilities like the weapon store, clothing store, and anything related to equipnt.
Only
That was because the equipnt that he had with him were so rare and precious that they were hard to obtain things throughout the entire dinsions.
However….. The store which contained all the varieties of skills was a different story.
‘What levels of skills are there…Is it, perhaps…..’
Vulcan arrived at the front of the store with the sparkling eyes of desire, without even taking a single breath.
He swallowed his saliva then opening the door of the store, he looked at the book cases which were filled with books.
Then….
Vulcan laughed loudly as he looked at the countless number of system windows which were opened before him.
‘This many…. Legendary skills….!’
