Xia Xin and Master Wu were taken aback.
Weng Jingyun followed Jiangli’s gaze, “Abbot, are you sure it’s her who killed Zhou Shutong?”
“She carries karmic debts, the sins left after committing murder, they can’t be erased.” Jiangli said calmly, “Even if she didn’t kill Zhou Shutong, she’s killed others. Captain Weng, you’re the police, shouldn’t you be concerned about that too?”
Weng Jingyun paused, “That’s true.”
Jiangli looked at Xia Fangruo, “However, there’s no rush.”
Xia Fangruo stood at the door for a mont, glanced around, saw that Zhou Ming’s spot was good, and walked over there, her deanor calm, with no trace of unease or guilt.

He frowned again, “But we still have no way to determine if she tampered with it.”
Jiangli smiled faintly, “We’ll know soon enough.”
With that, Jiangli drank the rest of the beverage in one go, then stood up and walked toward Xia Fangruo and Zhou Ming.
Xia Fangruo had already reached Zhou Ming’s position, sat down across from him, her expression turned serious, as if she was softly consoling Zhou Ming about sothing.
Zhou Ming looked sowhat uneasy, mumbling and half-heartedly responding to Xia Fangruo.
Seeing Jiangli approach, Weng Jingyun and the others followed.
“What exactly happened to Shutong, haven’t the police given an explanation?” Xia Fangruo sat across from Zhou Ming, worried, “How could such a good child end up like this?”

With that, she looked at Weng Jingyun beside her.
