They waited at the airport until nearly dawn before boarding the plane to F City with Yan Guowei.
“Is he still unconscious because of the sedative?” Xia Xin glanced nervously at Yan Guowei, who was slumped in a chair.
Yan Guofeng nodded, “Before we left the hospital, we asked the doctor to give Guowei another dose of the sedative, so he hasn’t woken up yet. And also…”

He feared Yan Guowei’s madness if he woke up.

Yan Guofeng let out a rough “yes,” his voice a bit hoarse. “It’s true. He had just graduated from university and went on the trip with so friends and classmates.”
Jiangli: “How long after he returned did he beco like this?”

At that ti, Jin Guifang also thought sothing was wrong and called Yan Sanqiang. The couple asked Yan Guowei what happened and why he had been acting strange since returning from the trip.
But Yan Guowei didn’t answer them. He just held onto his blanket, trembling, without saying a word.
Under their persistent questioning, he grew desperate and told them it was nothing and to stop worrying, then drove them out of his room.
Jin Guifang and Yan Sanqiang were puzzled, but since they weren’t highly educated, they assud he had so sort of disagreent with his friends during the trip and would be fine in a few days.
Who could have known that Yan Guowei would beco more and more withdrawn, and a few months later, he suddenly went mad.
