Xia Xin saw that Fan Ran’s parents were frowning in their sleep at first, but then seed to see sothing delightful. Even with their eyes closed, it was clear they were very happy at that mont.

Xia Xin looked towards Jiangli with a sowhat uneasy feeling.

Jiangli suddenly asked, “Has the Jiang family’s money not been transferred yet?”

Xia Xin, puzzled, checked his phone, “It seems like it has already co through.”

He checked the details and indeed, there was a record of a large sum of money that had been credited just two minutes ago.

It wasn’t just eight hundred thousand.

It was five million.

Xia Xin’s eyes widened in shock as he noticed two unfamiliar ssages. He tapped on them, and they appeared to be from Jiang Yongxin.

Jiang Yongxin said that this was in gratitude for Jiaoyang Temple’s help to their family and also expressed the hope that Jiaoyang Temple could create a Rebirth Plaque for Old Master Jiang. The extra money should be considered incense money for Jiaoyang Temple.

“Ancestor, it’s a huge sum!” Xia Xin’s face twitched, and he hurriedly conveyed the news to Jiangli.

Upon hearing this, Jiangli’s expression remained unchanged, disinterestedly saying, “Co with .”

Xia Xin’s gaze was still fixed on his phone, as he followed Jiangli out with dragging steps.

Fan Ran’s parents suddenly had a very long dream.

In the dream, they saw their daughter.

Fan Ran looked the sa, still in her most beautiful, initial appearance, which brought them to tears.

“Old Fan, what’s the matter with you, why are you crying?”

The family mber accompanying the patient in the next bed had long beco acquainted with Fan Ran’s parents. They shared a similar affliction, lived in the sa hospital room, and were as close as family.

Turning around, they saw Fan Ran’s parents seemingly asleep, suddenly crying in their dreams.

The family mber from the neighboring bed, worried sothing was amiss, woke them up.

Fan Ran’s father ca out of his dream, still sowhat dazed, and looked blankly at Cui Guifang and then at Aunt Liu, the family mber from the next bed.

“What’s going on, are you feeling unwell?” Aunt Liu was more concerned when she saw them blankly shedding tears. “Should I call a doctor for you?”

Fan Ran’s father jolted to his senses, realizing that what had just happened was but a dream and that he was now in reality.

He said in a hoarse voice to Aunt Liu, “No, no need to trouble yourself. Go back to rest, we are fine.”

Aunt Liu, still sowhat worried, told them to speak up if they felt unwell, since they were in a hospital where there would always be soone to provide treatnt.

Fan Ran’s father expressed his thanks.

Only then did Aunt Liu leave.

As he watched her help the patient to the restroom, Fan Ran’s father turned to look at Cui Guifang.

Cui Guifang, with an oxygen tube inserted, looked at Fan Ran’s father with eyes that trembled as she grasped his hand, “I, I dread of our daughter…”

Fan Ran’s father felt his eyes redden, as he gently stroked Cui Guifang’s wrinkled hand, choking up, “I did too. Ran’er can’t let go of us, she wants us to be well…”

Fan Ran also told them not to disdain her…

But how could they ever disdain their own child?

They only regretted that they could no longer see their child.

Cui Guifang, thinking of the dream, felt an agonizing pain in her heart, but it was a magnificent dream that allowed her to see Fan Ran for one last ti.

Her biggest regret in life was not stopping Fan Ran from committing suicide, not being able to see her daughter one last ti.

Now, it was as if her wish had been fulfilled.

“Cui Guifang’s family—”

At that mont, a nurse walked in from outside.

Hearing this voice, Fan Ran’s father swiftly wiped away tears and stood up, his hands rubbing awkwardly on his body. “Well, doctor… is it ti to pay again? Could you possibly give a couple more days? I’ll do my best to gather the money…”
