Abbot, even though you saved him for the money, it is still a great kindness, and it’s only proper for Zhu Ming to co and say thanks,” Uncle Pei Jiu said, glancing at Zhu Ming and smoothing over the awkwardness.
Jiangli held her teacup with a faint smile, “Then, what brings Director Pei here? I assu Director Pei isn’t here to thank , right?”
Uncle Pei Jiu had his own motives for this visit.

He appeared sincere and extended considerable goodwill, as if he was earnestly inviting Jiangli to join the Unusual Affairs Managent.
