Jiangli paused, then turned back and said, “I know, I’ll be there shortly.”
The nanny looked at Jiangli’s retreating back with so confusion. She thought she had heard Jiangli standing there, muttering to soone, but she couldn’t make out what was said.

Wondering, the nanny took a step forward to co over.

As soon as she finished speaking, she turned around, facing the oncoming nanny and said disdainfully, “The garden at your house is not nice at all. What’s with the jar of water placed there?”
The nanny hesitated, then forced a smile and said, “That’s the lady of the house’s idea. I’m just a nanny, I don’t know about these things. If Miss Jiang is interested, you can ask the lady about it later.”
“What a lousy jar. I’m not interested,” Jiangli curled her lip and said to Xia Xin next to her, “Let’s go, let’s go inside.”
