Capítulo 1371: Chapter 1371: Their Way of Getting Along
Just as Xia Xin was filled with questions, Jiangli and Fu Shiyan had already gone back upstairs to eat.
Fu Shiyan knew her quirks; she could only sleep well when she was full.
All the dishes were her favorites.
Jiangli watched Fu Shiyan take out the food and arrange it, and her heart gradually cald down.
She even had a mont of daze, as if she had returned to many, many years ago.
When she and Ying Ming were in Beihai, it seed to be just like this.
Fu Shiyan bought seafood porridge, filled a bowl of porridge, and brought it to Jiangli. Seeing her staring at him, he softly said, “Have so porridge first to soothe your stomach, then eat sothing else.”
Jiangli snapped back to reality, nodded, took the bowl of porridge, picked up the spoon, and started eating slowly, her eyes constantly on Fu Shiyan.
Fu Shiyan added so side dishes for her.
Jiangli watched him, and past scenes always floated before her eyes.
Seeing her staring at him, Fu Shiyan smirked and teased, “Aren’t you tired of looking at for so long?”
Jiangli smiled gently, “You’re good-looking, after all.”
Fu Shiyan, hearing this, reached out to wipe her mouth, “Eat properly, we have ti, you can look at slowly in the future.”
Jiangli paused with the spoon in her hand.
She had never felt a sense of belonging in this world.
She always felt she didn’t belong to this world, just here to do so things, and she would leave once they were solved.
But now…
Because of Fu Shiyan’s words, she suddenly began to think about the future.
The future…
Jiangli had never thought these two words were special.
But now…
She realized so people simply couldn’t commit to these words.
Jiangli looked at Fu Shiyan, and suddenly she had no appetite for the seafood porridge in her bowl.
Fu Shiyan added so food to her plate, “Why aren’t you eating?”
Jiangli snapped back, “I am eating.”
Fu Shiyan looked at her and asked, “Lili, you ntioned that when you were in the cave, you recovered so mories. How much did you recover?”
Jiangli took a sip of porridge, shook her head slightly, “Not much, at first nothing ca back, but when you ca over, I started to rember you.”
Fu Shiyan nodded, “What about the serious injury from 800 years ago?”
Jiangli paused, “I can’t rember clearly. It seed like an accidental injury. Initially, I thought I returned by myself, but later, I vaguely rembered soone sending back to Jiaoyang Temple—”
She looked at Fu Shiyan.
“Was it you?”
Fu Shiyan didn’t deny it, “It was , but I didn’t fully understand what happened back then. When I sensed sothing was wrong, you were already injured by the ti I got to Mangshan. Tianxuan removed all your Spiritual Bones to renew the Mangshan Dragon Vein. I barely managed to save you and send you back to Jiaoyang Temple.”
Jiangli, upon hearing this, slowly nodded, “So it was you. I guessed right…but unfortunately, I still can’t rember what exactly happened back then.”
Fu Shiyan looked at her deeply, patting the back of her hand, “Not rembering isn’t so bad either. For now, just eat. You’re not feeling well; eat first and then rest.”
Jiangli agreed with a sound, and neither of them ntioned the topic again.
After eating, Jiangli freshened up briefly and prepared to continue resting.
Fu Shiyan then went to the bathroom, and coming out, he saw Jiangli still sitting by the bed, seemingly waiting for him.
Fu Shiyan smiled faintly and approached, “Were you waiting for ?”
Jiangli replied with a simple sound, staring directly at Fu Shiyan without any feminine shyness.
This was their usual way of getting along.
