Jiangli, upon hearing this, wished she could bite Fu Shiyan again, "So, I should be grateful to you, right?"

Fu Shiyan rubbed his chin against her neck, "It’s my fault, I didn’t think it through, don’t be angry, alright?"

Jiangli held in a breath, but upon hearing Fu Shiyan say this, that breath imdiately dissipated.

She could never hold a grudge against Fu Shiyan.

Feeling her soften, Fu Shiyan held her a bit tighter and asked, "When did you rember?"

Jiangli took a breath, leaned against Fu Shiyan’s chest, and murmured, "In the cave, but I didn’t rember much, just a person from the past who turned out to be by my side the whole ti, yet unwilling to recognize ."

Listening to her aggrieved voice, Fu Shiyan felt a sting in his heart, "Hmm, it’s all my fault, would you like to hit again?"

Jiangli, in anger, bumped her head against his shoulder.

This action had occurred countless tis before.

Feeling her familiar little gesture, Fu Shiyan chuckled lightly, then said seriously, "Not recognizing you was my own consideration, not taking you into account was my fault. Let’s not be angry, okay?"

Jiangli buried her face in his shoulder, "I’m not angry with you."

Fu Shiyan smiled, "Good, as long as you’re not angry."

Jiangli let out a hum, suddenly feeling a bit tired, no, perhaps very tired.

The tension eased, the suppressed emotion stabilized, and drowsiness washed over her like a tide.

Noticing her change, Fu Shiyan asked softly, "Tired?"

Jiangli answered with a hum.

Fu Shiyan said, "Then go to sleep on the bed."

Upon hearing this, Jiangli clutched the corner of his clothes.

Seeing this, Fu Shiyan chuckled, "I won’t leave, I’ll stay with you."

Only then did Jiangli let out a hum, still nestled against Fu Shiyan, like a perpetual little pitiful soul afraid of being abandoned again.

Fu Shiyan’s heart ached slightly, and he said nothing more, just silently stayed with Jiangli.

The two lay down side by side on the bed, Jiangli turned over, and nestled herself into Fu Shiyan’s embrace, the position she was most familiar with.

Fu Shiyan held her, gently touched her forehead, "Sleep, I’m here with you, not leaving this ti."

Jiangli seed to finally relax, allowing herself to drift into sleep.

However, the people downstairs were not so calm.

Xun Tianhai and the others were startled by the earlier commotion, everyone standing in the living room, not moving for a long ti.

After a while, with no further commotion, Xun Tianhai whispered, "I guess... they stopped fighting?"

Xia Xin hesitantly nodded, "Seems like it..."

Qing Yue smirked, "Looks like peace has been achieved."

Hearing this, Xun Tianhai sighed with relief, "As long as they stopped, gave quite the scare."

"Alright, there is food in the fridge, didn’t you want to make sothing to eat, Director Xun?" Duan Jianchuan asked.

Xun Tianhai, rembering his task, responded with an ’okay,’ and headed into the kitchen to open the fridge.

Qing Yue held his cup, maintaining a slight smile.

Xia Xin couldn’t help but glance at him, asking quietly, "Qing Yue, do you... know sothing?"

Qing Yue raised an eyebrow, "Know sothing?"

Xia Xin scratched his head, "I just feel like you know sothing, like the relationship between President Fu and the ancestor, or sothing about the ancestor’s identity..."

Hearing this, Qing Yue swirled his cup, smiled at him, "Do you want to hear so gossip about your ancestor?"
