Chapter 1269: Chapter 1269: Group Arrangents
Jiangli and Fu Shiyan took a car, arriving at Wu Jianhan’s inn around four in the afternoon.
Zhu Ming and ng Hongyao, along with others, were standing at the entrance of Wu Jianhan’s inn.
But they hadn’t gone inside.
They stood there, looking around, as if searching for sothing.
“Why is everyone standing here?”
ng Hongyao was hesitating, contemplating whether to step forward and open the door.
Then she heard Jiangli’s voice, sounding from behind.
ng Hongyao and Zhu Ming turned around, seeing Jiangli and Fu Shiyan with others.
“Abbot, are you the second group?”
Jiangli glanced around, “I suppose so; it’s just you here now?”
ng Hongyao replied, “Yes, when we arrived, few of the inns nearby were open, and there weren’t any tourists, it was quite quiet. I don’t know why Wu Jianhan’s inn is also closed; I was just considering whether to knock.”
Upon hearing this, Jiangli looked up at the door of Wu Jianhan’s inn, where a ‘Resting’ sign was hung, “Is he resting?”
ng Hongyao adjusted her thin jacket, “The association arranged and communicated with Wu Jianhan; he should know we were coming today. Even if he wanted to rest, today wouldn’t be the logical day to do so.”
The Laoshan area experiences spring-like weather year-round, but co evening, the temperature can drop a bit, especially in Leping Town, not far from the foot of the mountain.
In the evening, the temperature is only about ten degrees. When the cold wind blows, it’s quite chilly.
Zhu Ming and the others were feeling a bit cold. Strangely, despite it being sumr, the places they ca from were distinctly divided by spring and sumr, so their luggage only had short sleeves.

Xia Xin also felt sowhat cold; he rubbed his arms and turned to look at Jiangli, Fu Shiyan, and Qing Yue. They all seed unaffected by the cold.

“Is there any way to contact Wu Jianhan?” Jiangli looked at the tightly closed inn door, suspecting it wouldn’t open any ti soon.
ng Hongyao said, “I wanted to call, but there’s no contact information on the door, so we can’t get in touch with Wu Jianhan at all.”
Jiangli pondered for a mont and said, “Didn’t Wu Jianhan post on the forum? Is there no contact info on there?”
“He did post under his real na…” ng Hongyao said while taking out her phone, “Let check.”
Jiangli said nothing more, standing there, waiting for news from ng Hongyao.
Fu Shiyan, always in a suit, stood there too, sowhat out of place but quite warm, unaffected by the chill.
Jiangli glanced around again, uncertain if it was about to rain as there was a mysterious fog hanging in the air.
Despite being sowhat remote, this place inexplicably had a bit of that misty Jiangnan water town aura at the mont.
Before long, Jiangli saw, erging from the fog, Xun Tianhai and Bai Changfeng.
“Abbot, you arrived so early?”
Xun Tianhai and Bai Changfeng ca over, catching sight of Jiangli, with Xun Tianhai’s eyes lighting up and imdiately greeting him.
Jiangli looked behind them, noticing no others, “It’s just the two of you as a group? No one else with you?”
Xun Tianhai replied, “Yes, just us two.”
Bai Changfeng smiled lightly, “We didn’t expect it, not sure why, but on the flight, we found out we were the only ones from Xuann on this plane.”
Jiangli looked over at ng Hongyao’s group, “Miss ng has a group of four, and we also have four. I thought it was standardized.”
Xun Tianhai looked at the numbers on both sides, equally surprised, “Yeah, really, why are your groups all four people?”
