Xu Yanyan thought it would be difficult for anyone here to be her match.

Jiangli coolly asked, "So you set up an illusion, letting Gu Hai and others choose one of two: save themselves or kill their lovers."
Xu Yanyan’s breathing was sowhat heavy, as if she couldn’t bear the power of the formation, but she was still smiling: "Yes... isn’t it fun? No matter who it is, when it cos to choosing between themselves and their lover, they’ll unconditionally choose themselves."
"Like that... that Zhou Yang?" Xu Yanyan said: "He had nightmares in his heart. After he fell asleep, under my illusion, he entered his own nightmare. He feared Ke Yizhou uncovering their relationship, feared the Zhou family falling into ruin, feared facing the disdain of family and society. So, I did a little manipulation in the nightmare. At first, Zhou Yang struggled in the nightmare, trying to dissuade Ke Yizhou from such thoughts.
Later, Xu Yanyan, building on this, further escalated the situation between Zhou Yang and Ke Yizhou in the dream.
Eventually, Zhou Yang acted against Ke Yizhou.
Upon hearing this, Jiangli’s gaze deepened, "Zhou Yang directly acted against Ke Yizhou?"
Xu Yanyan: "What, you don’t believe it? But, this is reality. When one’s own safety is threatened, any talk of love becos nonsense, not worth ntioning."
Jiangli looked at Xu Yanyan, though she couldn’t see her expression, she felt things might not be as simple as Xu Yanyan said.
Jiangli said: "Zhou Yang told he acted against a female ghost at the ti."
Xu Yanyan said playfully: "Then tell , did I lie to you, or did Zhou Yang deceive you?"
Recalling Zhou Yang’s deanor, Jiangli really couldn’t make up her mind.
"I’ve told you everything I can, shouldn’t you... let go?" Xu Yanyan held on till now, but she was already at her wits’ end.
If it weren’t for her heavy killing karma and deep resentnt which gave her high cultivation base, she would have been torn apart by the formation by now.
