Chapter 1071: Chapter 1071: Here Early in the Morning
Xia Xin started flattering again.
“The ancestors are truly impressive. They said it would rain, and it really did rain.”
Jiangli wasn’t particularly interested. She seed just awake, still a little groggy, and without speaking, she stepped into the main hall.
Just as Xia Xin said, in the main hall, Fu Shiyan was sitting in front of the master statue with Fu’er and Master Wu.
The recorder nearby was playing the Tao Te Ching.

Only then did Fu Shiyan lift his eyelids, turn his head, and upon seeing Jiangli, stood up from the cushion, “You’re awake. Did you sleep well last night?”
Jiangli smiled faintly, “Pretty well, but how co Mr. Fu is here so early?”
“I cleared today’s schedule, so with nothing urgent, I ca early.” Fu Shiyan smiled warmly, walked over, and shook Jiangli’s hand.
In that instant of shaking Jiangli’s hand, his eyes darkened for a mont, as if a storm was gathering.
But no one noticed.
The strange feeling disappeared in an instant.
“That’s fine too. Are we heading out?” Jiangli didn’t notice either, and seeing Fu Shiyan already here, she didn’t ask further.
Fu Shiyan nodded slightly, intending to take Jiangli to a new restaurant.
Upon hearing this, Jiangli greeted the others and then left with Fu Shiyan.
Fu Shiyan drove over himself today; the car was parked at the entrance of Jiaoyang Temple.
After they got in the car, Fu Shiyan asked with a smiling face, “Any other plans today, or is the whole day mine?”
Jiangli smiled, “Yes, nothing much today.”
Fu Shiyan nodded, “That’s good.” He asked, “Lili, is there anywhere special you want to go?”
Hearing this, Jiangli pondered for a mont, “I’m not too familiar with fun places.”
Fu Shiyan suggested, “How about going to an amusent park?”
“Amusent park?”
Jiangli had seen many videos on social dia of people visiting amusent parks.
It seed quite fun.
But she had never been to one.
Jiangli suddenly beca interested, “Sure, I’ve never been either.”
Fu Shiyan gently offered, “I’ll take you.”
Jiangli nodded.
Fu Shiyan smiled and first took her to the amusent park.
It was still early; fortunately, the restaurant Fu Shiyan picked wasn’t far from the amusent park, so they combined the trip.
Jiangli had slept well yesterday, but for so reason, she still felt sleepy today and couldn’t help but fall asleep in the car on the way there.
Noticing her head slightly tilted, asleep, Fu Shiyan frowned slightly, freeing one hand to hold Jiangli’s hand, gently rubbing her wrist with his thumb, as if soothing sothing, or confirming sothing.
Jiangli slept deeply, and when Fu Shiyan woke her up, they had already arrived at the amusent park.
To let her sleep longer, Fu Shiyan bought the tickets before waking Jiangli.
Entering the amusent park with Fu Shiyan, Jiangli still felt a bit embarrassed, “Why didn’t Mr. Fu wake earlier?”
Even in midsumr, the amusent park was still packed with people.
Fu Shiyan held Jiangli’s wrist, protecting her inside, away from the crowd, and said, “You didn’t seem well-rested, so I thought I’d let you sleep a bit more, it’s no trouble.”
Jiangli’s gaze fell on Fu Shiyan’s hand, and she blinked slowly, responding with an “Oh.”
