Chapter 1044: Chapter 1044: Two Graves in the Mountain
The hand was very slender, like a girl’s hand.

He looked around nervously and only then realized they seed to be in a mountain hollow, with no sign of anyone around, only a bit of moonlight.
The more Xia Xin looked at the place, the more fear grew in his heart.
No, he should take Qiu Tang away first.
He reached out to grab Qiu Tang’s arm, intending to carry her on his back.
However, just as he moved, a rapid friction sound abruptly arose in the air.
It was as if sothing was swiftly scraping across the ground and rushing over.
Xia Xin hurriedly turned his head, only to see a pair of large hands attacking them with an eerie length.
Those arms, like the long-arm special effects in TV dramas, seemingly stretched infinitely like gummy candy, rushing down across the soil from above the mountain hollow.

But when the Talisman hit those large hands, there was no reaction at all, failing to impede their actions.
Xia Xin paused for a second, his still-active hands swiftly ford seals, casting a Celestial Seal.
Yet, it had no effect on the large hands.
Xia Xin spent a long ti sealing, sweating from anxiety, still to no avail.
anwhile, the large hands had already dragged him and Qiu Tang from the mountain hollow to the ground, continuing to pull them toward the side of the mountain wall.
Xia Xin, in panic, looked over, only to discover there were actually two graves there.
The grave tops were clean without weeds, even a few offerings were present, seeming like they were frequently visited.
And those large hands ca from one of the grave tops.
At this mont, the large hands were dragging Xia Xin and Qiu Tang toward the grave.
Profanities involuntarily escaped from Xia Xin, yet neither seals nor Talismans worked.
Just as despair set in, believing certain death awaited him, a flare of fire suddenly appeared in his peripheral vision.

Simultaneously, the large hands rapidly moving them felt so threat, suddenly let go of him and Qiu Tang, disappearing into the darkness.
Due to inertia, Xia Xin and Qiu Tang collided with the mountain wall, finally coming to a stop.
Xia Xin’s back and the back of his head slamd hard against it, golden light flashing before his eyes, almost fainting.
He gritted his teeth, rubbing the back of his head, as the soil around him began to fall.
Instinctively looking over, Xia Xin saw the soil fall, exposing a hole in each of the two graves.
And inside those holes, there lay a coffin in each.
