Mia
When Jasper arrived at the office, the morning bustle ca to an abrupt halt. Every employee’s gaze was drawn to one particular corner where Mia knelt,a shocking contrast to her usual regal presence.
She looked utterly broken. After a night forced to maintain the sa kneeling position, her designer dress was crumpled and stained, her perfectly styled hair now a tangled ss. The physical discomfort was nothing compared to the public humiliation she endured. The wolf inside her, once so proud, now whimpered in sha and fury.
Just yesterday, she’d strutted through these halls like the Luna she believed herself to be. Now she was on display, her fall from grace a spectacle for all to witness. The rage building within her was sothing primal and dangerous.
"Freya Stone, you manipulative little bitch!" she suddenly shrieked, her voice cracking with hatred. "This is all your fault! My mate would never do this to if you hadn’t poisoned him against !"
Her eyes, rimd red and wild, darted around the office as if expecting to find Freya hiding sowhere.
"Why don’t you just disappear from our territory completely? The pack would be better without you! You seduced an Alpha, you pathetic Gamma nobody!"
Her howls echoed through the modern office space, bouncing off glass walls and hardwood floors. Where once her outbursts might have inspired fear and compliance, now they only invited contempt. The power dynamic had shifted overnight.
Several pack mbers who had worked alongside Freya for years stepped forward, their protective instincts awakened.
"How dare you speak about Gamma Stone like that?" a senior accountant challenged, her wolf spirit evident in her stance. "She sacrificed everything for this pack for eight years without a single complaint. You arrived and imdiately started undermining her authority."
"Exactly!" added Timothy’s assistant. "Freya managed this entire pack’s operations flawlessly. She’s never once abused her position. You’ve been trying to destroy her from the mont you scented her on Alpha Kane."
"You’re the one who forced her to serve drinks at her own birthday celebration," another employee pointed out. "Now you’re playing the victim? Please."
The whispers spread like wildfire through the pack hierarchy. People were eyeing Mia as though she’d gone feral. She wanted to lash out,to assert the dominance she believed was her birthright, but pinned down by the security wolves, all she could do was kneel there, rage building in her chest.
"You’re all just jealous bitches!" she snarled, her wolf barely contained beneath her skin. "What did Freya do to buy your loyalty? Did she let you all scent-mark her too?"
She was ranting like a wolf driven mad by silver poisoning, spewing venom that made even the most hardened pack mbers cringe in discomfort.
Just then,Jasper arrived, catching the tail end of her tirade. His expression transford from cold detachnt to sothing glacial and lethal—the true face of an Alpha confronting a threat to his pack.
He’d intended her night of public submission to humble her. Instead, she was challenging the entire pack structure, threatening his authority.
He strode forward, radiating dominance. The crowd parted instinctively, responding to the power rolling off him in waves. The security wolves imdiately released their hold, recognizing their Alpha’s arrival.
Suddenly free,Mia scrambled to Jasper’s feet, clinging to his leg while forcing tears to stream down her face—a calculated performance.
"Jasper, thank the Moon Goddess you’re here!" she whimpered, her voice suddenly honey-sweet. "These subordinates—they’re all under Freya’s influence! They’re attacking your mate! You need to assert your dominance, remove them from the pack imdiately!"
She twisted around, pointing accusingly at everyone who’d dared speak against her.
"Her! Him! That female too! They all need to be banished from Stone Lake territory!"
The targeted employees lowered their heads instinctively, expecting their Alpha to defend his supposed mate. But instead of backing Mia as the pack hierarchy would dictate,Jasper kicked her away with such force that she skidded across the polished floor.
"I gave you a night to reflect on your actions, and this is how you respond?" His voice was dangerously quiet. "You hold no rank here,Mia. Yet you’re still attempting to dictate which pack mbers deserve to stay. I never truly saw what a toxic presence you are until now."
"I heard every word they said, and their observations are correct. Gamma Stone dedicated herself to this pack. You drove her away with your petty jealousy and false mate claims."
Mia sprawled on the floor, designer mascara creating black rivers down her flushed cheeks.
"I’m your true mate!" she cried desperately. "Jasper, our bond—it’s sacred!"
Jasper towered over her,his eyes as dead as winter. The office went silent, every wolf sensing the montous shift in pack dynamics.
"I love Freya Stone."
His declaration hit the office like a thunderclap. Pack mbers exchanged shocked glances,so even forgetting to maintain proper submission posture in their surprise. But Jasper felt his wolf howl with satisfaction—finally acknowledging what they had denied for too long.
A ghost of a smile touched his lips as he ignored Mia’s shattered expression.
"I love Freya," he repeated, stronger this ti. "My wolf has always recognized her, even when I was too blind to see it."
"As for you," he continued, addressing the crumpled form at his feet,"whatever connection I imagined between us died long ago. These past months were my greatest failure as an Alpha. I’m going to find Freya and make things right. Mia,you are banished from Stone Lake territory, effective imdiately."
Her pupils dilated with disbelief. Facing this brutal reality, she laughed through her tears,a haunting sound that made several pack mbers step back.
"You’re banishing ? Let share so pack truth, mighty Alpha," she spat. "Freya didn’t leave because of . She left because of YOU!"
"You think the pack doesn’t whisper about what you two shared? You took her as your secret lover for eight years without ever acknowledging her publicly. The minute I appeared claiming to be your destined mate, you tossed her aside like oga trash. YOU’RE the one who broke her bond to this pack!"
The revelation of their secret relationship—a violation of traditional pack hierarchy—silenced the room. Jasper’s briefly softened expression hardened like granite as his most intimate betrayal was laid bare before his entire pack.
