Theron’s POV
Shorty and I were sitting together, sharing the fish. It was really romantic. Just then, the doorbell rang. When I opened it, I saw my cousin, Ken, standing there—the sa Ken I also call Pig.
Why Pig? Because he’s such a foodie. As a kid, he used to eat our portion too and then hide behind his mom.
Yeah, I was happy to see him, but Ken has this weird habit of calling us anything like "hubby" or "darling." We never mind because, well, he’s just different.
When Ken sat beside Silas, I suddenly rembered sothing very important—how could I forget such a crucial point?
Ken likes ogas. Yeah, he’s different because he only likes ogas. And Silas? He’s exactly Ken’s type—small and cute.
Before Silas could even shake hands with Ken, I quickly sat between them. No way was I letting Ken start flirting with Silas.
Ken is too good at flirting, and since he’s an oga, no other oga ever stops him when he gets close to them.
That’s exactly how he takes advantage and traps them.
So, I made sure to keep talking to Ken so he wouldn’t get the chance to chat with Shorty.
When Damon called us for dinner, Shorty went first. But as Ken and I followed, I noticed Ken was about to approach Silas.
That’s when Damon and I quickly pulled out a chair for him and forced him to sit down.
Even then, Ken’s eyes weren’t moving away from Silas.
And then, out of nowhere, Shorty stood up, saying he was done. His facial expression was completely off. What happened all of a sudden? Did he not like the food?
About ten minutes later, Shorty ca out of his room again. When we asked, he gave a strange reply and left. But Damon had already sent his bodyguards to follow and protect him.
Earlier, Shorty had also received a call, and ssages kept popping up on Damon’s phone. Cuz damon can see Shorty’s call that’s why , We quickly forwarded the number to the security departnt to check the IP address.
After Silas left— ken went into the bathroom.
"Theron! Silas’s location is showing at Starflow Mobile Shop, but his entire phone is wiped clean. I think he found out the truth about his mobile, so he went to buy a new one."
Well, no one can ever truly understand what Shorty is thinking.
"Damon, did you also notice his mood was off?"
"Yeah. I think it’s because we were paying too much attention to Ken. Ken is an oga too, so of course, Silas might have felt jealous."
"No, Damon. His expression wasn’t just jealousy. It was like... we committed a grave sin."
I put all the dishes in the sink. Of course, I’m not going to wash them—our maid will do that when she cos.
Damon got back to work while I sat on the couch, watching TV,waiting for Shorty, and ken was doing sothing in his mobile.
We weren’t too worried because the bodyguards were giving us updates. Shorty was still inside the shop, right in front of them.
Ken left too, but just two minutes after he was gone, the doorbell rang again. When I opened it, I saw Orion and Kael—and Ken was with them.
"Ken, why did you co back? Don’t tell you can’t die unless you annoy us."
"How can I leave when your cute mate is here? Besides, it’ll be fun if there are more people in the house, don’t you think?" Ken said sweetly.
"Yeah, you’re right. But in those people, you don’t belong. We already fed the pig. Now it’s our turn to eat the pig."
"Theron! How can you talk about eating so easily? Don’t you have a heart?"
Why the hell is everyone coming to Damon’s house right now? If they see Silas, they’re going to ask so many questions.
"Okay, everyone, co in."
After they entered, I put on my coat and slipped my phone into my pocket.
"So, everyone—and Damon—I’m leaving now. I need to practice. My tournant is coming up soon."
While saying that, I walked into Silas’s room. His entire luggage was packed—everything. Without hesitation, I grabbed his bags and walked out.
"Whose stuff is that?" Ken asked.
I stared at him, giving him a clear signal not to ask anything. He understood imdiately.
"Oh, okay! Theron, bye! It’s unfortunate—you wanted to stay here so much that you even brought your luggage. But, of course, practice can’t wait."
Ken is such a genius. If only we could remove his playboy personality. When he flirts with an oga, he practically becos an alpha. Even actual alphas would be embarrassed in front of him.
As I was leaving, I noticed Damon’s face. He was literally glaring at since I was taking Shorty’s luggage. But I knew he wouldn’t say anything in front of everyone.
I left and waited outside the building for Shorty. Of course, I had my mask on—it’s always in my coat for ergencies.
As I stood there, I saw a small rock near my foot. So, I kicked it hard—sending it flying 100 ters away. Gold dal in the Rock-Kicking Olympics, secured.
Then, I imagined a horde of zombies surrounding . If I moved, they’d eat . My mission? Stay completely still like a statue.
But damn, it was hard. I’m not used to standing in one place without moving.
"Theron, what are you doing here?"
I instantly recognized Shorty’s voice. I turned my eyes toward him without moving a muscle. His bodyguard was with him as he approached .
"What happened? Why are you standing like this?"
I couldn’t answer. If I moved, the zombies would eat . I had to win. I would win every ga.
"Are you okay? Why aren’t you answering? You’re not moving at all—did sothing happen? Are you in pain?"
Just then, a powerful wave of air swept through, crushing all the zombies in an instant. Mission complete.
I finally moved and grabbed Shorty’s hand.
