Damon’s POV

When Mr. Jeren called and told he wasn’t going to give the role to Silas, I thought did Silas didn’t do well in the audition?

But then he told how Silas had given up without even auditioning.

I was really confused after hearing that. And today, Nekol also asked for a one-week leave because soone in his family was sick.

So, I gave him the ti off. Silas must be alone right now, which made it the perfect chance—that’s why I called him over.

We were enjoying ourselves until Kael called, saying he had sothing important to tell . While I was talking to Kael, Silas also left.

Kael said he’d tell that important thing tomorrow.

And now, here I am, still working, even though it’s 1:25 AM. I should’ve taken a nap earlier if I had known I’d be working this late.

My eyes felt heavy, so I stopped working, loosened my tie, and grabbed my phone.

I opened stargram to check if Silas had replied, but he still hadn’t. So, I sent him another ssage.

The ssage got double-clicked—it ant his data was on.

Was he still awake? Could he not sleep since he was alone at ho?

He still didn’t reply. So, I called him, but even though it was ringing, he wasn’t answering.

Did he fall asleep with his data on? But even if he had, the ringtone should’ve woken him up.

Just in case, I opened the tracker to check Silas’s location—his phone’s GPS was on. It showed that he was still inside the house.

I guess he really was sleeping.

Was he not scared of being alone? I didn’t know.

I leaned back on the sofa and closed my eyes.

The next thing I knew, my phone was ringing, and it was already morning. I must’ve fallen asleep last night.

I grabbed my phone to check who was calling—it was Atlas. Why was he calling so early?

Still, I answered.

Damon: "Yes, Atlas?"

Atlas: "Boss... Silas is missing. He’s not at ho."

Damon: "WHAT?! Explain everything!"

As soon as I heard that, my drowsiness vanished, and I quickly sat up.

Atlas told that this morning, he had been ringing Silas’s doorbell, but Silas didn’t answer.

The door was locked from the inside, so he thought Silas was just sleeping.

He kept trying and even called Silas, but when he did, he could hear the phone ringing from inside the apartnt. Silas wasn’t picking up.

That’s when he called security and had them open the door.

When Atlas entered, the first thing he saw was blood on the floor near the door. Silas’s phone was lying beside it.

He searched the entire house, but there was no trace of Silas.

Then, he noticed a rope tied to the balcony railing. Looking down, the rope was hanging all the way to the ground.

I grabbed my coat, my phone, and my glasses and rushed out of the office. Silas had gone missing from his own house—this was no joke.

There were bodyguards stationed outside his building and even in the lobby.

What the hell had happened last night?

If soone had really sneaked in, how had the bodyguards not noticed?

I drove as fast as I could.

By the ti I arrived, a crowd of fans had already gathered outside the building, worried about Silas.

Apparently, his neighbor had overheard Atlas’s conversation and called the police. That’s how the news had spread so quickly.

The bodyguards imdiately escorted inside, making sure no fans saw .

The blood on the floor was already being sent to the lab to confirm if it was Silas’s.

As soon as the police officer saw , he approached.

"Mr. Damon, you’re here. It’s really unfortunate that your artist went missing from his own apartnt, but we’ll do our best to find him."

"Thank you for your concern, officer. But I don’t want the police involved in this matter. I hope you understand what I an."

"What are you saying, Mr. Damon? If we don’t help, how will you find him? If we handle this, we might find him sooner."

"I said I don’t need your help. You can leave now. I’ll call private detectives. There are plenty of people working on this, so don’t worry—it’s not your concern."

The officer’s expression hardened, and he gritted his teeth.

I didn’t care. If I needed police involvent, I would’ve called them myself the mont I heard Silas was missing.

As soon as the police left, I turned to Atlas.

"Call all the bodyguards who were on duty last night. And I want to see the CCTV footage from the entire day."

"Yes, boss."

I played the footage on laptop while Atlas gathered the bodyguards.

"Did any of you hear any screams last night? Did you see anyone suspicious entering the building?"

"No, boss. We didn’t hear anything, and no one suspicious entered the building either."

No one entered? No one heard anything?

Then what the hell had happened last night?

Where did Silas go?

Did soone attack him?

Did they try to kill him?

Wait... Was it Ciel?

I turned to Atlas.

"Bring that bastard Ciel here. Right now."

"Ciel? But why him, boss?"

"Just do as I say. Don’t ask unnecessary questions."

While continuing to check the footage, I grabbed my phone and made a call...

Damon: "I need your help."

Kael: "For what, bro?"

Damon: "Listen to carefully."

Kael is the best hacker I know. If soone is in our territory, it’ll be a piece of cake for him to find their exact location.

And I’m sure there must be a cara sowhere that captured the kidnapper and Silas.

I had told Kael everything. Now, I just needed to wait and see, but for so reason, I couldn’t calm down.

I was worried about Silas. If anything happened to him... In the end, he is an Oga.

As I was sitting there, lost in my thoughts, just then...
