Silas’s POV
Hearing that voice, when I opened my eyes, it was Orian beside . I yawned ’cause my eyes were feeling heavy. I think I slept for really long. I sat up. Felt clothes on my skin. But I rember I was wearing a bathrobe.
Orian was there, sure he must have fully clothed . I felt itchy on my head, that’s why I touched it—there was a bandage wrapped around it. So now even a physician had co and treated my wound. How co I didn’t wake up at all?
"How long have I been sleeping for?" I looked at Orian to hear his answer.
"For a whole 8 hours. It’s already dark and ti to have dinner," Orian said while slightly nodding his head, and his lips curled up inward.
"Co on, get up now. Dad is waiting for us and you know—"
Orian told In these 8 hours, so many things happened, like Dad caught Kael when he ca out of my room and took him with him. But what he did, Orian doesn’t know, ’cause he didn’t go behind them to see. And later Dad said that there is nothing to worry about, and Orian was the one who changed my clothes ’cause the physician was going to co to treat my wound.
And after all that, now Orian had woken up for dinner. I rubbed my palm on my face like I was wiping it. Stretched both my hands and stepped down from my bed, while Orian was still on the bed.
We both ca out from my room and directly headed to the dining hall, ’cause we knew our dad must be waiting for us. We all always eat together unless there is an ergency.
As we stepped in, indeed Dad was waiting. "Ohh, my dear sons are here! Co on, hurry up and take a seat."
Dad’s face was smiling, his facial expressions were relaxed. Food was served in front of him on the plate, but he didn’t seem to have taken a bite from it. and Orian went and sat down beside him. My favourite food was on the table, so it was not hard for to eat now.
I took one bite but while moving, I realized my arms were paining. I think I used them a little too much.
"What happened, Silas? Are your arms hurting?" Dad asked. I was shocked—how did Dad find out my arms were hurting? Was I touching them? No, I didn’t. I was just thinking, but Dad is really Dad.
"They are not paining that much, so it’s okay. And don’t worry, Dad." I smiled at him, still he was looking at with a worried face.
"So, Dad, what are you planning to do now?" Of course, I want to know. Until I find out what happened to those alphas’ pack, I am not gonna lie in peace.
"Your dad will take revenge for you, so don’t think too much. And it’s still hard to guess which pack they were from. Till now, only seventy alphas’ corpses’ packs got revealed, and those 30 corpses are still unknown. But those guys Damon and Kael said they will try harder to find out those 30 alphas’ pack."
So Dad is taking help from Damon and Kael both. "Yeah, it’s really difficult. And what are you gonna do to those 70 alphas’ pack?"
"From those 70 packs, many are under us and a few are under Damon’s, and..."
Why did Dad suddenly stop while talking? Did sothing happen?
"Dad, why did you stop all of a sudden? Did sothing happen?"
As I asked, Dad was already looking at . "Nothing, I will tell you later, okay."
I nodded at that, ’cause if Dad doesn’t want to say, then I am not gonna ask him further questions. While eating, I noticed Orian. It looked like he wanted to say sothing to Dad, but he was hesitating. He was taking one bite, then looking at Dad, trying to open his mouth but failed, and then again taking another bite.
"Orian, are you okay?" Orian flinched at my words, like his attention was not here. What is he thinking? I’ll have to ask him after dinner, ’cause it’s rare to see Orian in a daze.
"Huh! What happened to ? I am totally okay." I only smiled at him hearing that.
Once our dinner was done, we both left from there, but I grabbed his hand. "Orian, what’s the matter? You wanted to tell Dad or sothing?"
He was looking ahead even when I grabbed his hand, but when my words reached his ears, he turned back.
"Actually, and yer hugged." My eyes widened hearing that. He and yer—what?!
I grabbed Orian’s both shoulders. "Are you telling the truth? You an you both are finally in a relationship?"
Wow, I didn’t imagine—when I was gone, this is what happened here. I knew it. Orian likes yer. That’s the main reason why we were going to town every day—so that Orian could et yer. And yer is also a good boy. I’ve noticed he always gives special treatnt to Orian only. I know I am his friend too, but I guess he also feels sothing for Orian. That must be the reason they hugged.
Once, we were at the farm with yer in the middle of the afternoon and the sun was very hot. and Orian both were feeling hot ’cause of that, while sitting down under the tree. And just then, yer ca with water in his hand, but he had brought that only for Orian. And when I asked him, "Where’s mine?" that’s when he brought it for too.
"So, Orian, who confessed first—you or him? And who took the initiative to hug? It must be yer, right?" ’Cause of course, I know Orian isn’t gonna take the initiative to hug yer. He’s very shy, gets shy easily. Even holding hands is a big thing—so a hug? No, he can’t do the hug first.
"Silas, he gave a birthday gift—a handkerchief with my na written on it. He said that he had money to buy a present only for one, that’s why he bought it for . That’s why I hugged him, and he also didn’t push and hugged tightly."
