After a while, when the carriage stopped, it stopped in a town where all around, everywhere, was farmland.

And farrs. After getting out of the carriage, Orian started to walk. Like he knew the destination he needed to go to.

After walking for over five minutes, he stopped in front of a house. And that house looked so old.

He stood in front of it. A few seconds later, a guy ca out from the house. He had white hair.

And he was an alpha. His clothes looked worn out, like he had been wearing them for many years.

As soon as that guy noticed Orian, he quickly wiped his hands on his clothes and ca forward but stopped while maintaining a distance from Orian.

And Orian’s guard was standing a little far away. Because unless there was danger, he couldn’t interfere in Orian’s matters.

"How have you been, yer? It’s been a week since I last saw you."

yer was hesitating while looking at Orian, but he still spoke.

"I’m fine, and I’m sorry. I wasn’t able to congratulate you on your birthday. But I have prepared a present for you. If you don’t mind, can I give it to you?"

He asked like Orian might say no to his present, but Orian was happy and quickly nodded.

"Then stand here. I will bring the present. No—don’t stand, sit down on the chair."

yer grabbed the wooden chair and wiped it with his clothes so Orian could sit on it.

After doing that, yer glanced at Orian.

"Now you can sit."

And Orian sat on the chair while looking around, and yer quickly ran inside his house.

As Orian looked around, everything was still the sa. The wooden house and the whole place looked old.

In a few seconds, yer ca out again, hiding both his hands behind his back. Orian was curious, and a smile spread on his lips.

"What are you hiding? Co on, show . I want to see. You said it was for , so give it to ."

yer sat down on the ground near Orian’s feet like it was very usual and comfortable for him.

Then he showed his hands. In them was a handkerchief with Orian’s na printed on it. And it was done by yer.

"I know my gift isn’t anything special. You must have gotten many big and luxurious gifts. But I’m only giving you a handkerchief. If you don’t want it, you can refuse."

Orian took the handkerchief from yer very quickly.

Like—who knows if yer might change his mind later and not give it to him. He took it very quickly.

"Who said I don’t want it? It’s such a precious gift, and given by you too. Of course I want it. I’ll keep this handkerchief with all the ti."

yer was happy hearing this because he had feared that Orian wouldn’t like the handkerchief.

So many questions had been running through his mind. What if Orian said he was giving him trash—after all, Orian was the prince of this pack.

When they were kids, both Silas and Orian used to co to the farm with Jeren.

Because Jeren needed to see what was happening in his pack as the leader, he used to bring his two kids with him.

That’s when Orian t yer. At that ti, yer’s parents were alive, but they were poor. They were farrs.

And all these years, until now, Orian has only loved yer.

He doesn’t look for any other alpha, because in his heart, there’s only space for one person—and that person is yer.

From ti to ti, he cos to et him—always with Silas. But this is the first ti he’s co alone.

Jeren also knows who Orian and Silas et in the town, but he hasn’t said anything yet, assuming they’re only friends since they’ve known each other since childhood.

"Orian, your brother Silas didn’t co? He always used to co with you, didn’t he? Did he go sowhere else?" yer asked.

"Do you want to see my brother? By any chance, is there a gift for Silas’s birthday too?"

Orian was sad while asking this, but he needed to make sure.

"Actually, for Silas, I didn’t have any gift. I only had money for one, and I prepared that for you. I hope he won’t be angry at ."

As yer said that, Orian suddenly hugged him and ca down from the chair, getting on his knees.

yer was too stunned to speak—he was caught off guard. His heart was beating so fast as he felt Orian’s body against his.

Orian’s body was so small—even smaller than Silas. And shorter too.

yer didn’t know what to do because he didn’t want to push Orian away.

This was a once-in-a-lifeti opportunity to hug him. The scent of Orian’s pheromones was coming from his neck.

And the guard, who was standing a little further away, saw everything. But he didn’t step in.

Because he saw it was Orian who hugged yer first, and it didn’t look like yer was forcing him.

So he just waited for the right mont. If he saw any danger—anything forceful—he would jump in and beat the life out of yer.

Orian was also hugging him tightly, and after five minutes, they broke the hug. Orian sat down on the ground beside yer.

"Huh? Why are you sitting on the ground? It’s dirty. Don’t sit here. The chair is for you."

But even after hearing this, Orian didn’t move away from his spot—he sat stubbornly, just looking at yer with a smiling face.

yer was blushing; his ears were red just from looking at Orian.

"Orian, did you eat anything? Do you want sothing to eat or drink?"

"Yes, why not? What did you cook today? You know I crave your cooking. In the middle of the night, I always think it would be best if I ate sothing made by your hands."

"Then I’ll make extra next ti and pack it for you," yer answered.
