Silas’s POV
"Ah... no, it’s not all mine. Half is Silas’s," he said, glancing at to let them know I was the Silas he ant.
Seeing , their smiles faded away. I think they were jealous—but I didn’t even do anything.
Lysander held my luggage because he wanted to. It’s not like I forced him.
When we reached the 6th floor, I tried to grab my luggage from him since he was busy talking with those ogas.
But he didn’t give it back and walked out of the elevator.
When we opened the door to the room, there were two beds next to each other. Between them was a table with a table lamp.
There was a balcony too. When I stepped out, I saw a big forest behind the building—it looked beautiful now, but I was sure it’d give off horror vibes at night.
I checked the whole room—two wardrobes (obviously), heat and rut cycle suppressants for both of us.
But I’ve never had a heat cycle, so I don’t think I’ll need it.
There was also a training suit—shorts and a black T-shirt with my na written on it.
I peeked into Lysander’s wardrobe—he had the sa suit.
I opened the bathroom door. The bathtub was big, and the bathroom was spacious.
Overall, the room was fine—because I always judge a room by its bathroom, and the bathroom was great.
But when I ca out, Lysander was still standing there holding the luggage.
I took mine from him.
"Why didn’t you put it down on your own?"
I opened my bag and started taking out my clothes. Seeing that, Lysander opened his luggage too.
It took half an hour to arrange my clothes in the wardrobe—he did the sa.
Once my clothes were set, I grabbed my black track pants and white T-shirt and stepped into the bathroom.
They said we could rest today—but I didn’t want to. I wanted to explore.
From tomorrow, we won’t get the chance to tour around—so today’s a golden opportunity.
I took a cold shower—it was very satisfying. But as I was enjoying myself, I heard a knock on the door.
"Silas, how long are you gonna take? Others are going on a tour around—do you wanna co or not?"
"YESSS! I wanna go—wait for !"
I shouted. Obviously, what if they left without ?
But as I went back to showering, I slipped and fell—my butt started to hurt.
"Silas, are you okay? What was that sound? Did you fall?"
Oh man, it’s so embarrassing. Why is he shouting that I fell? What will others think if they hear this? But whatever—let’s not care.
"I’m fine," I replied.
Five minutes later, I ca out. I noticed Lysander had changed clothes. He must have done that while I was bathing.
When he noticed , he stood up. "Silas, are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere? If you are, please tell ."
"Lysander, quit pretending to care. I know you don’t even trust ."
"That’s not true," he ca closer.
"Silas, I care about you. You know that. I know you won’t forgive easily—but still, I’m sorry."
"Lysander, please keep personal matters out of this. We’re here for our careers. Let’s focus on that, and not let personal grudges ruin our performance."
Of course, I was ready to calm myself down—just for my career.
"Okay. Thank you, Silas. They’ve gone downstairs to the cafeteria to eat sothing. I think we should go too."
I nodded, and we left the room, switching off the lights.
On the way, there were people from other packs who had matched with different packs.
I didn’t understand—why was I matched within the sa pack?
It would’ve been nice if I’d gotten matched with an alpha from another pack.
But since I can’t change anything, I guess I should accept it instead of blaming my luck and fate.
When we got into the elevator, I glanced at him—he was standing right next to .
There was space, but he still had to stand that close.
We ca out and saw a signboard showing where the cafeteria was.
We went in—everyone was eating. So had snacks, so had lunch.
I took a step ahead. It looked more like a buffet than a cafeteria.
I grabbed a plate and picked two sandwiches.
But then Lysander ca and took them off my plate.
"What the hell are you doing, Lysander?"
"Silas, are you out of your mind? They were mushroom sandwiches. Don’t you know they’re dangerous for your health?"
"I didn’t know they were mushroom sandwiches, okay? If I had known, I wouldn’t even have touched them. And thanks for telling ."
Honestly, I didn’t even have a hunch they were mushroom sandwiches.
"Excuse , please step aside if you’re done,"
An oga behind Lysander said. We both gave him space—but his eyes were looking at strangely as he took food.
I grabbed other snacks. Lysander only took juices—said he was on a diet. When we sat down at the table—
Suddenly, two people from another pack approached and sat beside us.
"Hey, you don’t mind if we sit here, right?" one of them asked, settling into the seat next to Lysander.
"Of course not," I replied with a polite smile.
I found their faces oddly familiar, and then it just hit —they were influencers.
Because when I was scrolling through my phone, I saw their reels, but I didn’t know they were actors.
That oga who was sitting beside was looking at , and I could literally feel his gaze piercing through my face.
That’s why I glanced at him, and he was looking at with puppy eyes.
"Nice to et you. My na is Silas."
I didn’t know why he was making puppy eyes, but since it beca awkward because of his eyes, I just introduced myself simply.
"My na is Ren," that oga said, smiling.
"By the way, Silas, you are so beautiful. And mind if I ask—are you and Lysander dating?"
