Silas’s POV
I was just hoping that Jeren—please don’t ask.
"Then shall we talk about the contract?" Jeren asked.
"Yeah, sure."
And after that, for one hour, we talked about the contract—what the benefits were, what I wanted to add, what my conditions were to work with them, what their conditions were—we talked about everything.
And even after that one hour, we were still discussing. When I signed the contract with Damon, we didn’t discuss this much.
He just handed the contract, and I read it. And after reading it—yes, it was beneficial, that’s why I signed it.
But in the case of Jeren, he was explaining every detail, every part of the contract to .
Later, he also said that he would help terminate the contract with Damon.
Because he said there are so policies—because of that, an artist alone can’t terminate the contract unless he has been sponsored.
And he is ready to be my sponsor. He would give compensation money to Damon for terminating the contract.
Of course, I said no to him, but he said that once I start working there, I can pay him back, so no need to worry.
Well, fair and square. So, in the end, I said yes—’cause I really want to terminate the contract right now. He also said he wants to et Shine’s attorney friend to discuss further details.
Because Jeren has a legal team who handles all this, so he was thinking of handing over my case to legal terms. ’Cause it becos easier to terminate the contract if there’s a legal team supporting us.

After a while, all our discussions were over.
"Silas, if you’re free after this, should we have lunch together?"
"Sorry, Mr. Jeren, not today. My brother is waiting for at ho."
"Oh, okay. And I didn’t know you had a brother before. What’s his na and what does he do? How old is he?"
"He’s my twin brother. His na is Orian. Sa age as . But we both look nothing like each other at all."
"I see... Here, drink this water. You must be thirsty."
I wasn’t thirsty at all, but since Jeren told to drink, I took a sip of the water. And after that, we left from there.
I didn’t sign the contract because Jeren said to take so ti and think about it. If I get offers from other companies, I should take those into account too.
But I was determined—I would only sign the contract with Jeren.

After coming out, we sat down in the car, and Atlas started to drive.
"How is your brother doing, Atlas?"
I asked because his brother was in the hospital the last ti I saw him, so I didn’t know about his current condition.
"He’s a lot better. And he said he wanted to et you. But don’t worry—I told him you’re a busy person, so you couldn’t et him. So he dropped the idea."
"Why would you say that? I’d like to et your brother. Of course, I’m not that busy that I can’t et him."
"He’s gonna be happy after hearing that, I’m sure," Atlas remarked while driving.
And while sitting, I glanced outside the window and saw the view. Just then, I heard a ding sound. It was a notification sound, like a ssage had co in.
I quickly checked, and it was a Stargram notification. My fan—the one I replied to this morning—had replied back. When I opened the ssage...
[FAN: Seeing you back, I’m so happy I can’t even describe it in words. How have you been? I hope you’re fine.
I am doing well. I won’t disturb you anymore because I know you’re a busy person. But take care of yourself and I’m waiting for you.]
Oh, he’s such a nice person. He knows I’m busy, that’s why he even said he won’t disturb anymore. I just reacted to his ssage with a smile emoji.
And when I checked the post where I had uploaded my selfie, there were 1 million likes on it.
That really shocked —because yes, I know I have fans, but seeing 1 million likes in just a few hours was unexpected.
Of course, I was happy to see that, but it was unbelievable. But yeah, what can I do when people love this much?
I’m such a likeable person. Then why do I have so many enemies?
I was lost in my thoughts when I heard—
"Silas, don’t you think Mr. Jeren is such a nice person?" Shine asked.
"Indeed he is," I replied.
And just then, the car suddenly stopped, shaking our whole bodies, and my head bumped into the seat in front of .
"Atlas! What are you doing? Do you want to kill us?!"
"Sorry, Silas, but there’s sothing you need to see right now."
"What?"
But when I looked in the direction Atlas was facing—right in front of the car—I saw Ciel standing there. Because of him, Atlas slamd the brakes all of a sudden.
And seeing Ciel, I was literally angry. Why the hell does Ciel keep coming into my life again and again to ss everything up?
Can’t he just stay out of my life and live his own without disturbing ?
He’s like bad luck—just barges into life without any warning. I opened the car door and stepped out right away. ’Cause let’s hear him out.
What the hell does he want now? Did he co in front of the car to die or sothing? Or is it so new plan to tell everyone I tried to murder him?
And when I reached him, he made a sad face and was playing with his fingers like he was nervous.
But I didn’t give a damn about that. All I wanted to know was—what the hell was he thinking when he did that?
"Are you out of your fucking mind, Ciel? Why the hell did you jump in front of the car?" I shouted.
"Silas, why are you shouting at ? I was just asking for a lift ’cause my car broke down."
