Silas’s POV

I was happy that the man was going to take us to Orian. But one thing was hard to digest—Theron was the master of Dark Valley.

I knew that when I was kidnapped, Theron was the one who saved , and he had a mansion there. So, I guessed he was so kind of mber of Dark Valley.

But I didn’t expect him to be the master of Dark Valley, the one who created it. It’s not like I hate him for that.

I’m not going to complain about him creating Dark Valley either. No, I will not. Because it has nothing to do with —whatever he creates.

It’s his own idea. Why would I interfere? Why would I say sothing about those things? It was just unexpected for , that’s all.

"Wait, I didn’t ask your na, Mr. Assassin," I said.

"yer."

So, this—his na was yer. I could tell by the outfit he was wearing, his long hair, and the way he talked that the na yer suited him.

After that, I stood up because, obviously, we needed to leave. As soon as I stood up, Velric also jumped down from the sofa.

"Mumma, where are we going? Are we going to play?"

I smiled at Velric. "No, but we’re going to et soone. You can play there if you want."

"Yessss... I’m going out with my mumma! I’m going out with my mumma! I’m going out with my mumma!"

I didn’t know why Velric was this excited, repeating the sa sentence so many tis, but I didn’t say anything. If he’s happy, then let him be happy. Why would I interfere with his happiness?

"If you’re done, then let’s go. I don’t have much ti to waste here."

What did yer an by saying he didn’t have ti to waste? Was he calling us jobless people with too much ti? We were busy too—we just didn’t show it.

"Hey, we’ll take as much ti as we want, so don’t interfere with us."

Oh my god, Theron and his cold lines. When he said sothing like this to yer, I felt kind of happy because yer was the type of person who looked down on others just because he was an elite assassin.

But as soon as Theron said he was the master of Dark Valley, yer seed scared of him. Obviously, the master of Dark Valley was far above an elite assassin.

After that, I changed my clothes since I was still wearing pajamas, having not gone out all day. I put on a t-shirt and pants. When I ca out of my room, I saw Velric in Theron’s arms. So, they had made up.

Well, it’s good that they made up because Theron wasn’t the one who did anything wrong. Yes, those three had done sothing, and it wasn’t like they did many things wrong, but still... Velric shouldn’t talk to them until I say so.

I walked up to Theron and patted Velric’s head.

"So, you finally made up?"

"Yes," Velric replied.

I was happy, too, because Velric had started talking to Theron again. That was good. After that, we left the apartnt.

As we stepped outside, I saw Shine standing there.

But he had a bandage on his forehead, and he looked pale. Seeing that, I quickly rushed to him.

"What happened to your forehead, Shine?"

"It’s nothing. Last night, while going ho, I had a small accident."

A small accident. When I asked Shine for more details, I found out that he was simply going ho. As soon as he stepped out of the taxi, a bike ca speeding by, lost its balance, and hit him. That’s how he fell and got injured. But he was fine now.

Thank god he’s fine.

"But Silas, who is that man? And where are you all going?"

I wanted to explain everything to Shine, but yer was there, so I couldn’t tell him what happened last night. Instead, I decided to take Shine along with us.

"Shine you are not hurting anywhere right?"

"Yes.....i am totally fine"

When we reached downstairs, Theron had brought his car. yer also had his own car. yer offered Shine a seat in his car, and Shine accepted. Then, Velric and I got into Theron’s car.

I sat down in the passenger seat with Velric on my lap. I offered him the back seat, but he refused, saying he wanted to sit with .

Once we settled in, Theron started driving. yer had told him to follow his lead.

But damn, yer was driving so slowly—like a turtle. If we kept going at this speed, when the hell were we going to get there?

It was so irritating. Just then, Velric touched my chin, making glance at him.

"Mumma... that white-haired sister is so pretty."

"What?! White-haired sister?"

I couldn’t understand who he was talking about. Then, I heard Theron cough. I glanced at Theron, and it hit —he was calling yer a "white-haired sister."

"No, Velric. He’s not a sister; he’s a guy. Call him brother."

"But Daddy said he’s a sister, and if I liked him, I can marry him."

My eyes imdiately turned to Theron. But he didn’t glance at . He was looking straight ahead, like he knew if he made eye contact, I’d glare at him.

"Theron, why are you teaching the child wrong things? yer is a guy! Why did you tell him he’s a sister?"

"What? When did I teach him wrong? Well, that guy has long hair and his skin looks like a girl’s. That’s why I said it. And Velric, if you want, I can make him your servant too."

I sighed. What could I even say now? It was clear they had talked about this while I was changing earlier.

And Velric was nodding in agreent, as if Theron could actually make yer his servant.

I knew that was impossible. Given yer’s attitude, he didn’t seem like the type to listen to anyone.
