Silas’s POV
"Damon!"
He was on top of , his hands on either side of my head, caging under him. I tried to look away to avoid his eyes, which seed to be staring at hungrily. I pushed against his chest.
"Co down from ," I said.
"Don’t you think it’s the perfect ti to do sothing? We’re all alone in a room with a king-sized bed. Do you understand what that ans?"
I kept trying to push him away.
"What aning? I don’t understand."
"Silly, this is a honeymoon suite."
When I heard that, I glanced around and saw the condoms on the table beside the bed. It finally hit where I’d trapped myself. When we ca inside, I didn’t pay attention to anything because I was hungry and just sat down to eat. I didn’t even finish the curry since Damon didn’t eat anything—I kept half for him.
And now he’s suggesting this is a perfect ti to do sothing. Man, has Damon finally lost it because of his desire?
"Damon, enough with the jokes. I get what this room is for, so now co down."
"If you understand, then you should also understand why I’m on top of you right now."
I sighed. "No, I don’t get that."
Damon’s hand moved to my cheek, gently caressing it.
"You’re so innocent, Silas. But don’t worry—if there’s anything you don’t understand, just ask ." He grabbed my chin and leaned down.
"No! You can’t do this. This isn’t right. You already have a mate!"
I tried to stop him, but instead of backing off, his face showed a hint of annoyance. Before I could react, his lips pressed against mine.
It was a kiss... My first kiss, the one I’d been saving for soone special, and Damon stole it. I tried to push him away, but his forest-like pheromones made weak—I couldn’t resist him.
Then he started moving his lips against mine, slurping softly. His tongue slipped into my mouth, and I quickly turned my face to the side, trying to escape.
Because I want to stop this. I don’t want to do this.
"Your scent is so sweet," he whispered, leaning in again, his lips aiming for mine. I quickly covered his mouth with my hand.
"Control yourself. Look, I’m not your mate."
His large hand reached out, covering my mouth and half my face.
"Why don’t you stay quiet? You’re just ruining the mood," he muttered.
He lowered his face to my neck, his warm breath sending ticklish shivers down my skin. I felt like he was going to bite like those other wolves. But he was different—he could shift back when he wanted, while they couldn’t.
Slowly, he removed his hand from my mouth and intertwined his fingers with mine. Then I felt a gentle, ticklish touch on my neck.
"What are you doing?" I complained, but he didn’t answer. Instead, he started kissing my neck.
His wet and warm tongue was licking my neck, making unable to resist.
I had no idea my neck was this sensitive—no one had ever touched there before. Strangely, his touch felt good, his pheromones intoxicating. My body craved his touch, like it had been waiting for it for a long ti.
But this was wrong. Even though it felt good, I couldn’t do this with my brother’s mate.
How can I enjoy his touch, his kissing, when I’m ruining my own brother’s relationship just like Ciel did mine?
"Get away from ! Don’t do anything you’ll regret later." I closed my eyes tightly.
I knew Damon’s personality—if I said that, he’d stop. And just as I thought, he got off and lay down on the bed, his back facing .
I lay there, staring at his back, feeling conflicted. Why did I keep encountering Orion’s mate like this?
Moon Goddess, you said I have four mates—where are they? Why haven’t they appeared in my life yet? I just want to find them, be with them, and live a peaceful life.
Please let et my mates. This is the only wish I’m asking for—please fulfill my wish this ti, at least.
For so reason, my body trembled. I pulled the blanket over my head and closed my eyes. I think because we were on the ship, I could hear many types of sounds, but I don’t know whose voices they were.
---
Just then, I found myself in another place, but I was lying on the bed beside Damon just a mont ago, right?
I saw soone was sitting on a throne in front of , and I was kneeling in front of them like a criminal.
Then that figure, whose face was still blurry, approached with a sword in their hand. Before I could react, the sword pierced my chest, and a sharp, agonizing pain overwheld .
"Ugh!"
I gasped and opened my eyes. I was lying in Damon’s arms, and it was already morning.
When I tried to slip out of his hold, I couldn’t—he was holding tightly, even in his sleep. In the end, I had no choice but to lie there quietly.
"If you were awake, why didn’t you wake up?" Damon asked softly.
I looked at Damon—his eyes were fully open, staring at . Even in the morning, his gaze was intense.
"Can you let go already?"
"What if I don’t want to? What if I want to hold you a little longer? Are you willing to stay like this?"
"Damon!"
"Okay, okay."
Last night, he fell asleep with his back to —I thought he wouldn’t even speak to today. Yet here he was, flirting again.
Suddenly, we heard noises from outside. We exchanged glances and quickly sat up. I adjusted my clothes, and we hurried out of the room.
When we stepped outside, I didn’t know what that noise was, but it sounded like people talking. We glanced out from the ship, and there we saw...
