Aria pov

As I watched my father continue with his words, I couldn’t help but feel so angry. I turned to Jaxon, and his reaction was so annoying. I did not know why they reacted this way; they could not understand what I was going through. No matter how I explained it to them, they would never be able to understand all the things I was going through, and yet, my dad still dared to bla for it.

Jaxon signaled with so words, but I still did not care and looked away. They would never be able to understand at all, just as I look down at my foot. I suddenly lost my appetite for it and had no interest in eating, but I tried my best to see Still sit there, staring at my mom.

Pretendingly, I was so annoyed that I slamd the cut laser on the table and stood up. She looked at with concern before asking what was wrong. " Are you no longer interested in having lunch?" she said, and I rolled my eyes.

Pretendingly, I was so annoyed that I slamd the cut laser on the table and stood up. She looked at with concern before asking what was wrong. " Are you no longer interested in having lunch?" she said, and I rolled my eyes.

As I watched her put on her innocent face, I couldn’t help but feel annoyed. Everything felt so frustrating. I could not believe she was pretending this way. She would never understand what she is; do it to .

I did not see anything and was about to leave, but my father would stop .

" Your mother just asked you a question after so many days. You did not see her, and now she is here, and you cannot even answer her" He said as I bit my lips in frustration while holding in my tears. They would never be able to understand, and I did not want to act like a rude child.

That was the only reason why I wanted to walk away. I turned around to face them, with tears trying to fight their way out of my eyes, but I still held them in.

" I do not have an appetite for this lunch, and I just want to be in my room doing my assessnts," I said to him as he realized I was holding in a lot of tears. My mom also noticed and signaled for my dad to let go. I knew he was going to follow .

I knew I was supposed to act like a nice child sitting down, but I was just so confused and frustrated. Many things were going through my mind, and I knew that sitting here and pretending would not solve any of that. So I stood up and strolled up the stairs to my room, but as I went up, I couldn’t help but start crying.

Just as I was about to open my room door, I felt another hand on my shoulder from the center. I could tell that it was Jaxon. I turned around to him with an assuring smile. " I am fine; you do not have to follow. I know from the way you stared at that you would follow to this."

" I just need you to be assured, even if nobody wants you. I know how it feels because I have been in positions like this, too. I know we never got to talk about who my mother was, but I think this would be a perfect opportunity to do that" he said, and suddenly I felt like I was talking to a different Jaxon. It seed like he wanted to confide in and finally, about his mother, sothing he never told about since he moved into this house.

I slowly cleaned the tears on my cheek as I spoke up, trying to compose myself and keep a straight voice. " You do not have to tell your mother to feel comfortable. I know you are very secretive and like to keep your secrets to yourself, and I do not plan on forcing you either" I said to him, but he shrugged, opening the door to my room as we walked in. " You do not have to act like that. I have always been insecure, but seeing how you reacted a few minutes ago, I would not bla you because I reacted even more harshly than you did. " he began.

"I just want you to know that the situation you are in is so similar to mine, but I decided to act bravely. Nothing was wrong with it " he assured as I nodded and sat on one of the sofas as he joined.

"The main first thing I want to tell you is my mother was never as half perfect as your mother and that was what ruined everything for us. I know you think she isn’t perfect but she is, very perfect. Then, all this would not be happening." He told , and I couldn’t help but think, what if he was truly right and he was affected badly?
