Aria pov
"Why can’t you tell now." I said to Mary but she refuses, confusing even more.
I decided to accept her plead after all I was tired of the hospital I wanted to leave, just then Jaxon entered and stared at us awkwardly,
"We have to start preparing to leave, I finally got the doctor to accept our leave...we need to leave as soon as possible." Jaxon said while staring at Mary but she seed a bit angry at him as she looked away without hesitation.
"We got that, but and Mary need to finish a discussion then we can start packing up." I said to him as he nodded and walked away.
"Mary, I know you want to return to school before you tell anything but I still need a little tip, I need to know what I am doing....please tell anything." I pleaded with her and she still stared at the door like she could feel Jaxon there even though the door was not showing any shadow standing there.
"Soone is returning to school, you might not know this person but she used to be very popular before you joined us." Mary began and I felt scared, was Arya the girl she was talking about?
"Is it that lady that walked in?" I asked out of curiosity but she scared by shaking her head negatively.
"This girl I am talking about is worst, Arya around her is a baby and she is the only girl who can put Jaxon down on his knees without doing anything that how bad she is." Mary said to making shocked again, was I even going to ever have a chance with Jaxon.
"Are they like dating each other and why did she leave?" I asked out of curiosity but she didn’t say anything.
"You didn’t say I would be telling you after all why I just said was nothing but a re hint so don’t force it too far, when you return to school with Jaxon and you see the way he acts around her only then would you finally believe ." Mary said and without bothering to listen to anything I want to ask and instead walked towards the wardrobe as she began to pour out all my cloths all ready to pack it up for . I decide to not ask anything and just join her...few minutes later Jaxon joined us and with how he looked I could tell that he was ready for us to leave, I wish there was a way for to express my happiness but I just had to stay silent or else sothing else can happen to worsten everything which was now perfect to .
"Are you all set so we can start leaving, don’t want that doctor eting us here and delaying us." Jaxon said to as I turned to Mary to be sure she was also ready to leave which she nodded to and I nodded back at Jaxon as he made way for us to pass which we did.
I stared at the hospital for the last ti before entering the car as Mary sat beside as she tapped my shoulder to relieve but I was still in scare just as Jaxon started the car engine, my phone started ringing only for to check and see it was from my mother, she hadn’t called for a long ti now.
I picked up the call with shaking hands as Jaxon noticed it was definitely my mother.
"Mom." I muttered to her on the call as she sniffed.
"Why would you do sothing like this to yourself, I am leaving the state now and coming ho...I can’t
Believe Jaxon hid this from ." She said and I could hear my step fathers voice in the background.
"Mom, I didn’t do this intentionally to myself, I was almost killed." I said to her as the other side of the phone beca silent.
"My baby, what do you an soone tried to kill you?That wasn’t what the doctors said at all." My step father said as I could hear my mom shivering and crying from the other end of the call.
"Even Jaxon didn’t tell us any of this, he didn’t tell the truth and said you were depressed ... .I would need to sue that hospital. Why would they say that you almost killed yourself when it was the other way around. I won’t let that happen." He said and I couldn’t help but hold in my tears tightly because it was almost pouring out of my eyes.
"Daddy, don’t do that, don’t let this happen...I trust that you would accept my plea to keep silent about it as I don’t want the doctor to lose his license in anyways."I said to my step father as I cleaned my tears and Mary continued to tap my shoulder to make stop crying.
"Aria, let daddy do what he wants to the doctor...after all if he loses his license that would have absolutely nothing to do with you." Jaxon said to as stared at him angrily hoping my dad Won’t hear him.
"I do not want to say anything about what just happened and that’s the final, I am the one who got paralyzed and almost killed so I can make any decisions I want for myself." I said to my dad with an authoritative voice.
My mom was soon on the line as I could hear her sniffing her tears as my dad pleaded with her to stop crying and tell what she wanted as I didn’t listen to what he said to .
"Aria, my child...I am sorry I wasn’t there to take care of you and I never got to hear anything about it but I promise that we would find out who did this and even if he doesn’t lose his license you would make him pay for everything." My mom promised but all I could think about was what if it was my father.
