Aria pov
Jaxson noticed my attention was divided and turned my head to him.
"Stop staring at that’s devil and speak to , what’s going on? Why would you suddenly change your mind? Talk to !" He said quiet loudly that made other student attention turn to us as I felt like I was covered by attention again and forcefully released my shoulder from his grip.
"You have to atleast tell what’s wrong." Jaxson said and I couldn’t help but feel a sort of anger for him in , anyti I recalled his infamous love with Rachel and turned to see her at the corner of the class her face still swollen from all the tears I couldn’t help but feel so disgusted and angry with myself.
Just then the teacher walked in and I felt so relieved, I know that all my life I had always wanted to have a project with Jaxson and that had always been my wildest dream and now I didn’t want any of that. I just wanted to be by Carlos side and now for a weird reason I wanted to be his project partner and I knew he wanted the sa from the way he stares at from ti to ti.
The teacher was soon irritated by all the noise from the student due to how eager they were to join the project after all this months of continuously talking about it.
"Everyone please shut up or leave we are for a very important matter and I don’t want anyone giving a headache because of it and instead just silently sit down and listen to ." She said and everyone kept silent, but even a gasp was heard and I couldn’t help but smile, very diligent people..that’s how much anticipation they had for this project but I had lost all that because for so reason i just don’t want to believe that Jaxson was so head over hell for Rachel,she doesn’t even deserve it at all.
She began by telling us the project was going to be in three form and we are going to pick out of it all and everyone was already deciding even though she was the one to pick the teams and Jaxson tapped on the shoulder gently, I turned to him with a frown.
"What?" I asked and he seed puzzled as I looked away, I don’t want him to see the hatred I was suddenly growing for him in my eyes.
"You should atleast pick an idea we are going to work on." He said but I stopped him halfway.
"What do you an by we?" I asked and looked away again as he didn’t say anything either till it was ti to pick the person we are to get peered with and she was the one selecting.
I knew she was going to put us all together because we are the owner of the school..I wished I could just stand up and change the joining but I had vowed to myself that I won’t ever be like Rachel and be making unnecessary commands just because I am better than others.
The teacher just as expected placed , Jaxson, Rachel in the sa group and I felt so frustrated,only one person was different from the group and we had to seat together and pick what e want, well atleast Mary was joined with Carlos and she seed so happy as Jaxson made the her the leader while I was made the leader of ours, after Jaxson picked Rachel couldn’t even say a word to us and I felt like she was pretending but it was hurting her more to pretend as she just wanted to go back to her really bad character.
"Why are you acting so gloomy?" Jaxson asked and I couldn’t say anything but just watch.
"I am fine, I just need to relax a little and everything would be fine." I said to them and just then I noticed Carlos and Mary about to leave and then Mary signaled for to follow along and I couldn’t help but be overjoyed as I stood up and was about to walk away when Jaxson dragged back.
"Where do you think you are doing?" He asked and I looked at Mary who was still waiting for .
"I am going sowhere with Mary to read."I said to him while hoping he wouldn’t of believe but he stood up and pulled closer.
"You have to tell what exactly is going on because all this needs to be explain but I won’t stop you from going to Mary, just don’t forget you have project partners waiting for you." He said and my gaze couldn’t help but go to Rachel who was sitting and going through her book while acting so innocent when she isn’t even innocent at all.
"You can start cooking up sothing for the project before I am done." I said and tried to pull my hands away but he still held to it.
"What are you trying to say, you know that Rachel and I aren’t in good terms and I won’t be able to sit a second there without you there so what exactly do you even an?" He asked but I didn’t know what to say, he was right and I also didn’t want him to get back with Rachel but I still needed to listen to the full story of Carlos.
"We should schedule this at ho and try to do it all together, what I have to do now with Mary is more important." I said to him as his grip on finally loosen up and he lets go of and I felt a bit bad but I just wanted to trust him more and to do that I need to know everything and mostly why he never really went into full details of his relationship with Rachel.
