Thursday morning, Binhai University Affiliated Hospital.

Jiang Hao was walking with his head down when he suddenly noticed a shadow rushing straight toward him.

Just as they were about to collide, Jiang Hao quickly dodged to the right.

The other person made the sa evasive move, except to the left.

With a thud, they collided solidly with each other.

Fortunately, the other person had a notably protruding belly, which cushioned the impact a bit.

However, their foreheads t quite firmly.

Jiang Hao rubbed his forehead and exchanged an awkward smile with the other person, just about to step aside and walk away, when he heard a soft giggle nearby.

He looked toward the sound and saw, not far away, Qi Xingfen standing there elegantly dressed in an autumn suit.

Jiang Hao imdiately stepped forward, smiling, "Dr. Qi, hello! What brings you to our hospital today?"

Qi Xingfen chuckled lightly, "Ca at soone's invitation."

"Dr. Jiang, you should watch your steps. If you had bumped into an elderly person, there goes a month's salary."

Jiang Hao rubbed his slightly red forehead and chuckled, "Just a mont of carelessness, just a mont."

He thought of sothing and asked, "Dr. Qi, could it be that you were invited by Expert Lin too?"

Qi Xingfen nodded gently.

Jiang Hao smiled, " too, let's go together."

The two entered the elevator together and pressed the button for the floor of Lin Jie's office.

"Dr. Jiang, I haven't congratulated you yet. Successfully completing a complex frontal glioma resection last week."

"Congratulations!"

Qi Xingfen said with a slightly wistful tone, "Before, I could boldly claim we were on par, but the success of that surgery makes hesitant to say that now."

Jiang Hao modestly replied, "Just a fluke, just a stroke of luck."

Qi Xingfen snorted lightly, "Why haven't I had such luck?"

"Dr. Jiang, I bet this is a case of being the benefactor of proximity, learning a lot from Expert Lin, right?"

Jiang Hao didn't deny it, nodding earnestly, "What you said is indeed true."

"Expert Lin's generous teaching has benefited imnsely."

"I've noticed a significant improvent in my overall surgical command skills."

"How should I say it, I have gained confidence in surgeries I was uncertain about before. Unlike before, when the outco depended on luck."

Qi Xingfen, like a little girl, pouted playfully, "Dr. Jiang, are you saying this on purpose to make jealous?"

Jiang Hao chuckled, explaining, "Not at all, not at all! If there's any jealousy, it's on my part, I envy that guy nad Cui who has won you over, this beauty."

Qi Xingfen smiled brightly and said, "Well, you don't have to ntion that."

"Back then, you also had a chance; if only you had been more proactive."

"But then again, if we were together, we'd probably spend more ti in the operating room than at ho."

Jiang Hao laughed lightly, "There's a high chance of that."

"Oh, Dr. Qi, I heard you're planning to leave Donghua Hospital."

"Anlin Hospital has been lacking a neurosurgery director for so ti, aren't you interested?"

Qi Xingfen sighed, "I'm naturally interested. But my husband's business hasn't been doing too well these past two years, and I need to support the family..."

As they talked, the two exited the elevator and arrived at Lin Jie's office, where he was on the phone.

"Dr. Jiang, Dr. Qi, feel free to sit down. There's water and drinks in the fridge!"

Greeting them, Lin Jie picked up the phone again, "Dean Yuan, please tell those senior experts that I'm occupied with surgeries and preparing for next Tuesday's competition, so I really don't have ti."

"Ask them to send their surgical plans to my email, I will review them carefully."

Lin Jie listened to his phone for a while and laughed, "I said so, why would soone offer guidance for no reason at all."

"Let those young people undergo interview selection assessnts; their success will depend on their true abilities..."

Jiang Hao took two bottles of water from the fridge, handed one to Qi Xingfen, and after Lin Jie put down the phone, said, "This targeted dical class has been the hot topic in the Binhai dical Community lately."

"Many people regret not having the right son or daughter at ho."

Qi Xingfen echoed, "Yes, Dr. Jiang's son and our daughter are only in elentary school."

"For us dical folks, we usually marry in our thirties or later."

"Ah, talking more about this only brings tears."

She asked with great interest, "Expert Lin, when are you and President An planning to hold your celebration?"

"It's only confird for next autumn for now, the exact date hasn't been set yet!"

Lin Jie sat down opposite Jiang Hao and Qi Xingfen, saying, "Dr. Jiang, Dr. Qi, I've invited you here because I'd like you to assist with a brain surgery scheduled for this Tuesday."

"I wonder if you both have the ti?"

"Yes, I definitely have the ti."

Jiang Hao said excitedly, "To be honest, it's an honor to participate in such a significant surgery."

Qi Xingfen nodded and said, "I also feel very honored."

"Expert Lin, what exactly do you need us to do?"

Lin Jie extended both hands. In each hand, he held a thin, transparent hollow fiber tube.

"Help dissolve the blood clots in the patient's brain."

Jiang Hao picked up the fiber tube, roughly as thin as a hair, and examined it closely for a mont.

He glanced at Qi Xingfen, who was equally perplexed, then looked at Lin Jie and asked, "Expert Lin, what's the purpose of this slender thing?"

Lin Jie smiled, got up, returned to his desk, turned on the projector, and projected a three-dinsional diagram onto the wall while drawing the window curtains.

"There are nine blood clots in the patient's brain."

"Five of them are relatively easy to deal with; I plan to use traditional craniotomy to remove them."

"But these four clots..."

Lin Jie pointed with a laser pointer at the positions of the four blood clots on the diagram and said, "Their location is deep, making it easy for surgical instrunts to cause significant collateral damage."

"And smaller collateral damage ans a much higher level of surgical difficulty."

"Especially the clot above the thalamus; there's simply no surgical route that doesn't result in serious collateral damage."

Jiang Hao and Qi Xingfen both nodded in agreent.

These past few days, they had also been considering surgical plans to remove these clots but hadn't co up with an appropriate thod.

Based on their own assessnts, if they were operating themselves, considering possible post-surgery harm, they would advise the patient to maintain the status quo and allow the clots to dissolve naturally over ti.

At this mont, Lin Jie clicked the mouse again, and several straight lines appeared on the diagram, extending from various positions outside the skull to the location of the clots.

Lin Jie explained, "These straight lines represent the hollow fiber tubes in your hands."

"I will insert the fiber tubes from these positions, inject a thrombolytic agent, and gradually dissolve the clots, then extract the waste liquid."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Hao and Qi Xingfen stood up abruptly, staring at the projection screen, lost in thought.

After a while, Jiang Hao exhaled deeply and asked incredulously, "Expert Lin, can you effectively avoid the brain cell information connection nodes in the brain?"

Lin Jie said softly, "Not all, but most!"

"Damage and destruction are still unavoidable. But the damage caused by this thod is much less severe compared to traditional thods like manipulating the suction head."

Qi Xingfen couldn't help but exhale, exclaiming, "This novel surgical thod suits a genius like you, Expert Lin."

"People like us can't possibly grasp the brain structure to such a refined degree."

She looked at Lin Jie's head and couldn't resist asking, "Expert Lin, did you have so kind of infinite capacity chip implanted in your brain? Otherwise, how could you rember such a vast amount of information?"

Lin Jie returned a profoundly enigmatic smile.

Even Shen Lanruo was astonished about this aspect.

Human mory typically fades over ti.

Shen Lanruo was also concerned about this, which is why, in the first few months, she tirelessly taught Lin Jie, pushing him to his limits to systematically impart dical knowledge to him.

Yet more than a year has passed since then.

The vast dical knowledge Lin Jie absorbed is still vividly present in his mind, as if it were yesterday.

Moreover, the new knowledge Lin Jie has learned has seamlessly integrated with the old knowledge he had processed, showing no signs of forgetting.

This prompted Shen Lanruo to sourly remind Lin Jie that eventually, with his mind cramd full of knowledge, he would either go insane or reach the brain's capacity limit and die from brain overload.

Jiang Hao cald his excited emotions and said, "Expert Lin, your surgical thod will surely shock the global neurosurgery community."

"It's an honor to participate in such a groundbreaking surgery, Expert Lin, thank you!! Thank you!!"

"What exactly do we need to do..."

Lin Jie explained, "Injecting the thrombolytic agent through this hollow fiber tube to dissolve the clots is a process that requires patience and precise control. My students aren't skilled enough; I need to rely on you two for this task."

Jiang Hao held the fiber tube up to his eyes and pledged, "Expert Lin, rest assured, we won't let you down."

At this mont, the phone on the desk rang.

Looking at his phone, Lin Jie smiled and said, "The patient and his family have been picked up at the hospital from the airport. Let's go take a look together..."
