In the evening, Lin Jie and An Kexin were having dinner at a restaurant with elegant decor.
After listening to Lin Jie talk about Wu Jialiang's request, An Kexin thought for a mont and said, "Wu Jialiang? I rember this person. He beca a chief doctor in his early forties, which is quite impressive."
"However, the feedback from the headhunting company said that during the first contact, he very firmly refused. Ah Jie, how did you reply to him?"
Lin Jie took a sip of water and said, "At first, I was quite happy to hear him say that, but then I felt a little uneasy."
"This deal condition makes it seem like I'm coercing him to sell himself as if saving people is the condition, just like a feudal landlord from old tis."
An Kexin smiled and said, "Ah Jie, maybe you're overthinking it?"
"Perhaps!"
Lin Jie said casually, "I just told him straightforwardly that I wouldn't accept his deal condition. Anlin Hospital needs people who genuinely want to co to Binhai and develop, not doctors who hold resentnt."
As he said this, Lin Jie thought of sothing and explained, "Kexin, the profession of a doctor is different from others. Whether a doctor is engaged or not, whether they are indifferent or responsible, the results can be vastly different."
"Doctors who arrive at Anlin Hospital for various reasons but aren't happy inside certainly won't be very proactive."
He pondered for a mont and then said, "As they say, a forced lon is not sweet."
"My thinking is, if the other party readily agrees to our initial conditions, it shows they genuinely want to develop in Binhai. We can offer them more help and support."
"But for those who ask for ridiculous conditions, it's best not to negotiate at all."
An Kexin chuckled and asked, "If I understand correctly, Ah Jie, you're saying I can give additional conditions, but the other party cannot ask for them?"
Lin Jie thought for a mont, chuckled, and said, "That's pretty much it!"
An Kexin rested her chin on her hands with a troubled expression and said, "Ah Jie, based on your idea, the difficulty in finding suitable doctors has increased a lot."
"Quality over quantity," Lin Jie found reasons to support his viewpoint.
An Kexin also understood that those doctors who demand outrageous conditions were not sincere.
Even reaching an agreent would involve a difficult negotiation process that would consu a lot of manpower and ti. Directly giving up wasn't much of a loss.
"Ah Jie, what you said makes a lot of sense."
"I learned from the headhunting company that so doctors' conditions are simply unreasonable, like signing bonuses up to ten million, arranging jobs for distant relatives, or providing cars worth no less than a million."
Suddenly, she rembered a detail and asked, "Ah Jie, you refused Wu Jialiang's deal condition, which ans you refused to treat his wife?"
"To be accurate, I only refused his proposal!"
Lin Jie took a bite of food and continued, "After having breakfast at the hospital, I went to Dr. Jiang Hao from neurosurgery to check Wu Jialiang's wife's tumor examination data."
"The surgery for this brain tumor is quite challenging."
"I've made so modifications based on Dr. Jiang's surgical plan. With Dr. Jiang's ability, he is still very confident in removing this brain tumor."
An Kexin smiled sweetly and said, "I knew my Ah Jie is a kind-hearted good person."
Lin Jie snorted and asked, "How is the recruitnt situation at the hospital now?"
Getting to business, An Kexin put away her smile and said seriously, "The dical and technical staff needed by the hospital face relatively less competition, and with Dean Gong's assistance, most have been confird, which is considered the best and fastest progress."
"As for the nursing staff, which are the largest in number, we've only confird a dozen experienced head nurses. Large-scale recruitnt activities will be launched in the spring of next year."
"For administrative managent personnel, Dean Gong has recruited four people to assist him. At that ti, my father and I will transfer so from the current company's managent staff to work at the hospital."
"As for the most important doctors..."
An Kexin showed signs of worry and said, "Currently, many contacts and connections have been maintained, but those confird, like Chen Qiuhua, Yao Siyuan, and Lu Xiaoyu, were mostly due to your relationships."
Lin Jie reached out and pressed An Kexin's brow, gently rubbing it, "Don't worry."
"We still have ample ti, and now many doctors are comparing and observing."
"I expect that after next spring's festival, it will be the peak ti for doctors to finalize their choices. By that ti, Anlin Hospital's main buildings should be completed."
Lin Jie withdrew his hand and smiled, "By then, gather the interested doctors and let them tour Anlin Hospital to see the comprehensive treatnt building, dormitory building, and residential building not far from the hospital."
"And display the Healing Center for Disabled Veterans in cooperation with the military and the Sports Injury Research Center with Guoxin Company. I estimate many doctors will be tempted."
An Kexin nodded gently and said, "My father told the sa thing."
"He also said that although Anlin Hospital hasn't started operating yet, it has laid a solid foundation. Among the few major hospitals under construction in the Phoenix Mountain District, its developnt montum is the best, so I shouldn't worry."
"But when I think about the many people and things at the hospital that haven't been confird, I get inexplicably anxious."
Lin Jie served An Kexin so food and said, "Eat more. Haven't you noticed you've lost quite a bit of weight?"
He further consoled, "After all, as the old saying goes, eat als one bite at a ti, and you can't beco fat all at once. The matter of doctor recruitnt doesn't need to be rushed."
Lin Jie laughed, "If that ti cos and we still can't find enough staff, I can bring my students to the hospital to help out."
"To speak frankly..."
He said proudly, "Although their clinical surgery skills might lack due to insufficient practical experience, their knowledge and diagnostic abilities aren't much worse than those of regular attending doctors."
An Kexin smiled brightly, her worry fading away, "That's true, great teachers produce excellent students!"
"Hey, Ah Jie, yesterday I 'accidentally' ran into Dr. Tan Wenlan at the mall and probed her a little. She didn't answer straightforwardly but asked a lot about you..."
Hearing this, Lin Jie straightforwardly said, "Kexin, don't bother with Dr. Tan anymore; she probably won't agree."
"Why?" An Kexin asked, puzzled.
Lin Jie rolled his eyes and said, "You're really confused for a mont. The news of a successful eye transplant surgery must have reached Dr. Tan's ears by now."
"Seeing , she certainly regrets not trusting back then and choosing Wang Feizhang instead, resulting in her nephew's failed surgery and blindness."
"Would she choose Anlin Hospital in such a situation, seeing every day and feeling remorse and guilt over her nephew's case?"
An Kexin, with a gloomy expression, said, "You're right, sigh..."
At this mont, Lin Jie's phone chid.
He picked it up and saw a picture; it was a docunt stamped with the official seal.
"Kexin, Qiao Hongzhen's penalty decision is out."
"Besides the administrative fine, he has been permanently stripped of his dical license by the health regulatory departnt."
