Lin Jie noticed Liu Ruisi observing him, and before An Weize could respond to the question, he directly said, "I'm Kexin's friend, Lin Jie!"

Liu Ruisi repeated, smiling, "Hello, Lin Jie! You look a lot like a friend of mine when he was young. For a mont, I thought I traveled back in ti and saw him in his younger days!"
An Weize chuckled and said, "With the population here being so large, it's not uncommon to occasionally bump into people who look alike. There are even celebrity impersonation shows on TV where strangers who look very much like the stars often appear!"
"That's true!"
Liu Ruisi laughed in agreent and said, "Brother An, please stay, you've brought us this far. Please take care of this matter!"
An Weize insisted on escorting the two from the Liu Family and Shao Hanyan to their car before waving them goodbye!
However, as soon as their car drove off, An Weize's expression slowly turned serious!
"Dad, don't be angry!"

While visiting the An Family, Liu Ruisi casually ntioned his father-in-law's illness. Shao Hanyan, unsure of what she was thinking, talked about An Weize's own brain tumor and the mysterious expert.
An Weize said softly, "Lin Jie, don't worry. I've already dealt with it tactfully. This Liu Ruisi isn't very eager for dical help; it might just be a passing ntion due to Shao Hanyan's introduction and exaggeration!"

Just then, a clinking sound ca from the kitchen, prompting him to smile and say, "Miaomiao, I know you're hiding in the kitchen. Co out and explain this feast! I know it's impossible for you to have made it!"

A familiar giggle ca from the kitchen as a good-looking figure stood up from behind the chopping board, exaggeratedly waving a stainless steel spoon, claiming triumphantly, "I made this feast; satisfied? Surprised?"
Lin Jie just pursed his lips and said, "Tingting, I'd rather believe Miaomiao made it than believe a cooking novice like you did."
At this mont, Lin Miao popped up to Li Ting's left side, happily saying, "I told you, my brother wouldn't believe your clumsy lie. Lili, stand up!"
Following these words, Chen Lili stood up to Li Ting's right, giving Lin Jie a polite smile and saying, "Hello, Lin Jie!"
Lin Jie's eyebrows raised in surprise, responding, "You made these dishes?!"
"Wow, that's really unexpected. This is pretty much at a master chef level! Whenever you have ti, co by more often and teach your cooking skills to Miaomiao and Tingting!"
Chen Lili just chuckled and said, "Don't complint just yet; I didn't make these dishes either!"
Another person stood up from Chen Lili's right, shyly admitting, "Lin Jie, I made them!"
"Your place seems to lack for nothing, and I couldn't think of a better way to thank you for your help than to personally prepare this al as a token of gratitude. Please don't dislike it!"
Lin Jie truly didn't expect that Lu Kaicheng was the one who cooked it!
He couldn't help but whistle, teasing, "I've noticed n are becoming more versatile, and besides dressing up, won don't seem to be capable of much else. If we could have children too, won would beco even more irrelevant."
His gaze swept over Lin Miao, Li Ting, and Chen Lili, feigning contempt as he said, "Look at yourselves; in what way do you surpass and Lu Kaicheng?"
Lin Miao huffed, defiantly saying, "Brother, you just talk big. You miss the simple facts; do you have a bigger chest than us? Is your hair longer than ours... I an, longer than Tingting's and Lili's?"
"Exactly!" Li Ting concurred, retorting, "I can do the splits now; can you?"
Chen Lili also chid in, "I can lick my nose with my tongue; can you?"
"That's because your nose is big!" Lin Jie suddenly retorted!
This remark made Lin Miao, Li Ting, and Lu Kaicheng coincidentally turn and look at Chen Lili, realizing that her nose indeed seed sowhat disproportionately large!
Feeling embarrassed under their gazes, Chen Lili covered her nose, shouting, "No more looking! We should eat before the food gets cold!"
After so laughter, the five of them sat down to eat!
With Lu Kaicheng's introduction, Lin Jie learned that Lu Kaicheng's family runs a small restaurant!
His father is a fairly skilled chef, and during his earlier school years, Lu Kaicheng often helped out at the restaurant during sumr and winter vacations and weekends to earn so pocket money, gradually honing good culinary skills.
Lin Jie joked, "This culinary skill can co in handy during cultural exchanges in the United States! Cooking a few authentic Chinese als for foreign doctors might earn more thorough guidance from them, worth the cost of cooking."
Lu Kaicheng earnestly replied, "Thank you for the advice; I'll use this approach."
He paused for a mont and continued, "My housemate, who is also a resident doctor, is ntored by Professor Chen Shi. He knows you and has told that Professor Chen has beco increasingly strict with his students and doctors because of you."
Lu Kaicheng laughed, reminding him, "To them, you're the perfect child that Professor Chen often talks about. From what I understand, they harbor quite a bit of resentnt towards you!"
