A groggy Lin Miao, yawning occasionally, ca into the kitchen and pressed her face against Lin Jie's back, leaning on him as she mumbled, "Brother, is that friend of yours still sleeping in this morning?"

As he said this, Lin Jie carefully turned with the pot of freshly cooked porridge and slowly walked towards the dining room, with Lin Miao's upper body glued to his back, following step by step.
Once Lin Jie served the porridge and set the breakfast, Lin Miao sat down and began eating!
After a few bites, Lin Jie noticed Lin Miao was unusually quiet. Looking up, he realized she was eating with her eyes closed, half-asleep.
Lin Jie reached out to shake Lin Miao awake, recalling how she had spent most of yesterday shopping and then called him up in the middle of the night to massage Lu Kaicheng. With concern, he said, "If you're really tired, go back to your room and sleep a bit more. Have breakfast after you're well-rested! You don't need to go to the clothing store today either. I'll call Xiaoxiao."
Lin Miao rubbed her face, waking up a bit, and said, "I want to have breakfast with you. Now you're working, I'm working too; the only ti we get to spend together is during breakfast and midnight snacks."

Lin Miao was a bit tempted and asked expectantly, "Brother, is it really possible?"

Catching her enthusiasm, Lin Jie pressed on, "The rent for that shop alone is over forty thousand per month, more than enough to cover your tuition. I'll first find you a tutor to teach you so basic vocal knowledge, how about it?"
Lin Miao thought it over, then nodded and said, "Alright, I'll start with so learning. If I find I'm not talented at singing, there's no need to waste money on it."
Lin Jie happily said, "Then tell Xiaoxiao you won't be going to help at the store anymore."
