Chapter 959: I Will Return Three Hits
Eye Devil was a light-type S-tier ability user. Ironically, he belonged to the dark side.
This indicated that the ability learned did not necessarily portray one’s will. True, a dark ability user would fall easily to the wrong side, but that did not an that a light ability user could not be a hypocrite.
Nonetheless, Eye Devil was not a hypocrite. He had always been this cruel. His unforgiving nature was the epito of being cold-blooded.
Eye Devil did not care what destruction the rift might cause. He only knew that this would greatly benefit him.
Being an overbearing brute his entire life, Eye Devil had no room for reasoning.
He was not afraid of the seven Human Alliances’ users, or even Qin Feng who had just returned from the core unscathed.
This was because Eye Devil was the most powerful among them. He had attained S9-tier and was only one step away from breaking through to SS-tier. This rift ca at the right ti and was vital to him.
The rest of the aptitude users scowled out of annoyance. But it was futile to reason with Eye Devil.
Qin Feng bravely stepped out.
“Eye Devil, I wonder if you still rember ?”
Eye Devil turned to Qin Feng. Blinding lights imdiately shone on him. An internal force shield in front of Qin Feng blocked the threatening radiance, enabling him to stare at the assaulter’s eyes.
Eye Devil was stunned by the sturdiness of Qin Feng’s internal force shield. Not even an S-tier could cast such durable armor. But his face quickly turned emotionless again.
“I don’t usually rember a nobody.”
Qin Feng smirked. Not offended, he said, “I hope you won’t change your mind after today.”
Eye Devil’s eyes were filled with disdain. To him, this was a joke, a clown show.
“Do you need a lesson?”
“Well, you did that a year ago, rember? You hit good, in fact, three tis with your light beam. Not only that but another beam chased all the way back to the Huaxia Alliance. My loss was rather substantial then. It’s ti for to return the three hits.”
Qin Feng was sent packing by Eye Devil helplessly during that fight. This was a good ti to return the favor.
Qin Feng’s words reminded Eye Devil about him. A lowly B-tier aptitude user had beco an A-tier in just one year. Such a leveling speed was indeed frightening.
As a mber of the Dark Coalition, Eye Devil knew he must crush the rivaling prodigy in front of him.
To Eye Devil, only he deserved to be called a prodigy. The others were simply fakes.
“Since you want a quick death, I will make your wish co true,” Eye Devil said coldly. He would not allow Qin Feng to release his ability. A giant eyeball imdiately erged above him.
The eyeball was actually the materialization of Eye Devil’s ability core. It was wrapped by a specific god weapon. The weapon could condense the ability and amplify its power.
The eyeball was half-close at first, which then suddenly opened wide. A blinding illumination burst out from it and pierced Qin Feng’s eyes.
“Be careful!” Fang Zhou was concerned. He eyed the battle closely and was prepared to assist Qin Feng.
The others, on the other hand, were having a different thought.
“What an arrogant kid! This is suicide!”
“How ignorant could he be to provoke Eye Devil so blatantly?”
“He is better dead...”
Qin Feng faced the light beams with composure and raised his finger. A dark laser was shot out from it.
“One!” Qin Feng started counting. The dark laser sliced the air carrying a vicious deadly aura. Everyone at the scene could feel the nace of the deadly strike.
Fang Zhou’s life force was weak, to begin with. When the dark laser was cast, he subconsciously took a step back, being intimidated by the perilous and threatening death aura.
In the next mont, light and dark, black and white collided.
In almost everyone’s perception, light could disperse the darkness. But that was clearly a biased concept. When night arrived, darkness could easily engulf light too.
Hence, when the two contrasting forces t, the winner would be the one with greater power.
To the onlookers, Eye Devil was clearly the stronger one.
Upon impact, the two beams dispersed silently. The world seed to turn colorless, leaving only black and white for a brief mont.
This was when a calm voice and a blue swipe broke the colorless stalemate.
“Two!” Qin Feng struck again. His move was insanely fast.
It was almost impossible to condense runes this fast, let alone an entirely different type of rune.
The first strike was the Finger of Death. The second one was the Cold Whisper of Death.
Even Eye Devil was caught off guard by Qin Feng’s non-delayed attacks. He rapidly triggered his ability. The giant eyeball unleashed another beam but it was activated a little too late.
The Cold Whisper of Death was only ten ters away now. While Qin Feng’s skill was already at its peak, the God’s Eye was only starting to gain montum.
Crack!
The cold beam had frozen the light beam.
Though the ice was lting continuously, in the end, the ice runes still managed to crawl their way onto the eyeball. It instantly froze up Eye Devil’s energy core.
In that instant, Eye Devil could only feel coldness imploding from within his soul. Even his mind was seemingly shutting down because of the ice runes.
But soon, light burst out from his body. Heat comparable to that of the sun imdiately expelled the chillness.
“Three!” Qin Feng’s voice was heard again. Almost simultaneously, terrifying fire runes crushed forward ferociously.
The Flare of Death.
From Qin Feng’s first ability till now, only ten seconds had passed. He had cast three successive S-tier abilities, each one as deadly as the previous one.
Especially the final attack. Oplan was spooked watching it. This was the sa attack that repelled and burned him earlier.
“That’s impossible!” Oplan did not want to believe it. But the fact was undeniable.
Ten seconds, three different rune types, three S-tier abilities.
Now, they no longer thought Qin Feng was trying to commit suicide. Instead, they were eager to know whether Eye Devil could withstand the final assault.
At the final mont, the white light within Eye Devil once again erupted.
“Infinite Light, Invincible!”
A giant halo shrouded Eye Devil whole. The Flare of Death hit right onto it.
Both were S-tier abilities, one a piercing spear while the other one a blocking shield. It was hard to tell which had the advantage.
If there was any tiny wrinkle, then it would be on Eye Devil, who had sustained two successive S-tier abilities before this. His scrambling defense was definitely not at its absolute best now.
Boom!
The fla torrent poured in and pressured the light.
