Following day.

In the room, the black-and-white Energy Galaxy surrounding Qin Shou gradually dissipated as he exhaled a long breath of energy.

He carefully put away the few remaining Constant Star Energy Crystals, his brows furrowed tightly.

The Level 5 Breakthrough Potion would soon be completed, but being stranded on an alien planet ant his supply of Constant Star Energy Crystals couldn’t be replenished, and the Dark Energy Crystals he had could only support him until he reached Unbreakable Realm Five-star.

This place didn’t seem to have any Energy Crystal Mines. After advancing to Unbreakable Realm Five-star, if he wanted to level up quickly again, he’d have to rely on exploiting the humans here.

"Tap... tap..."

Just then, Leng Wanbai entered, dressed sharply in military attire.

With her strength having skyrocketed, her expression was filled with confidence, her entire presence exuding the aura of a powerhouse. She looked like she carried the stature of a female general.

Qin Shou had asked her to step out for a breather, but she sohow managed to earn the title of "Second Brave Warrior of the Dark Country," and spent all day flaunting her newfound power.

Vain!

Qin Shou glanced briefly at the giant statue gifted by King Buka and smiled in satisfaction.

Perfect, as vain as I am.

"Any updates?" Qin Shou asked casually.

Leng Wanbai nodded. "The Land of Light has already sent scattered troops to harass the Dark Country’s borders. Giants are among them as well. We don’t have enough strength now—I suggest we retreat for a while to avoid sparking a full-scale war."

Without hesitation, Qin Shou rejected her suggestion. "No, if they want a fight, we’ll give them one. Retreat is not an option. When the ti cos, we’ll escalate matters if necessary."

Leng Wanbai mused, "Is this their way of probing us?"

Qin Shou chuckled lightly. "Do we even need to guess? It’s an obvious probe.

Perhaps these Spine-eating Gu have been acting human for too long, or maybe they’ve watched too many brain-dead dramas. Either way, their intelligence seems stuck in the past.

If I were in their shoes, knowing I wouldn’t lose even if war broke out, I’d have already pressed forward with an army, forcing the opponent to reveal their hand. If it could be destroyed, I’d destroy it; if not, I’d negotiate terms. Why bother with such roundabout tactics?"

Leng Wanbai rolled her eyes. "How about I go undercover again and share this brilliant strategy with them?"

Instantly, Qin Shou’s smile vanished, replaced with a deeply sincere expression. "Xiao Bai, you know best—I live for jokes."

Imitating Qin Shou, Leng Wanbai pouted. "Fine, I’ll go make the arrangents. But you need to co up with a solid plan. This won’t hold out for long."

Qin Shou nodded. "Don’t worry, I have a handle on this."

Suddenly, Sika barged into the room wearing an ornate gold-embroidered robe.

"Qin Shou, let’s go swimming today... Uh? Leng Wanbai, what are you doing here?"

The mont Sika saw Leng Wanbai, her gaze sharpened. She glanced back and forth between Qin Shou and Leng Wanbai several tis, her piercing look filled with an indescribable undertone.

Leng Wanbai mirrored her intensity, unconsciously letting her icy aura flood the entire room as she coldly stared at Sika.

"Princess, barging into soone’s room uninvited isn’t proper, is it?" Leng Wanbai said flatly.

Sika calmly adjusted her appearance, her deanor shifting entirely. She walked forward gracefully and unhurriedly, facing off with Leng Wanbai.

"Hah, how this princess conducts herself is none of your concern.

Besides, the room’s owner hasn’t spoken—what business is it of a subordinate to interject?"

Sika gave Leng Wanbai a long, asured look before ignoring her darkened expression completely and turning to Qin Shou. Her face lit up with a sweet smile as she tugged slightly on his clothing.

"Qin Shou, rember our promise—today, you’re going swimming with !"

Perhaps intentionally, Sika appeared more timid than ever in this mont.

Surveying the sparks flying between the two won, Qin Shou instinctively swallowed hard, feeling that this was a situation he shouldn’t ddle in.

The battles between won... so brutal, so terrifying.

Before he could say a word, Leng Wanbai stepped forward to shield him, coldly saying, "He’s busy—don’t bother him.

If swimming’s what you want, I’ll take you!"

Sika’s charming eyes flickered with an unusual light. "Fine, but while your strength is impressive, you lack dark bloodlines—it might be difficult for you to last in the water."

She smirked. "How about a bet? Loser agrees to a small request from the winner. Deal?"

Without hesitation, Leng Wanbai answered, "Deal. It’s set—I’ll find you after finishing my tasks!"

"I’ll wait for you. But since it’s a bet, we need a referee. Qin Shou, you... huh, where did he go?"

Sika turned around, only to find the room empty—Qin Shou had vanished without a trace.

"Hmph, coward!" she muttered, pouting slightly as her gaze locked once more with Leng Wanbai’s.

...

Two nations’ border, Chicheng Mountain.

"Kill!!"

"Kill!"

Two forces clad respectively in black and white armor raised their weapons, clashing fiercely amidst the dense forest, engaging in close-quarters combat drenched in blood.

"Clang! Clang! Clang..."

"Kill..."

Sword Energy infused with Light Energy and Dark Energy streaked wildly through the air, blood splattering everywhere as cries of agony mingled with twisted laughter within pools of scarlet.

Ti passed, and both sides suffered losses, dragging away bodies before retreating.

Torrential rain poured heavily, washing away every trace of gore and filth within the forest.

After a while.

"Buzz..."

The Void rippled faintly, and amidst the storm clouds, invisible energy materialized as a barrier. Qin Shou’s silhouette slowly erged.

Retracting the golden glow in his palm, Qin Shou strolled through the rainy mountain forest, hands behind his back.

On the uneven muddy ground, blood mixed with rain ford small pools containing lingering traces of Light Energy and Dark Energy.

Unlike Earth, where wars between humans and Monsters were fought for survival and reproduction.

Wars among humans here were also for survival and reproduction but more so to serve the interests of rulers.

That was the role Qin Shou now played.

"Perhaps soday, I can make this world a better place!"
