In a city ablaze with war and smoke, the piercing radiance gradually faded, the towering beam of light breaking through the dark clouds slowly subsided, and the entire world sank back into a prolonged night.

In the darkness, beside a crumbling skyscraper, a towering figure—fifty ters tall—stood proud and resolute: the Light Giant.

Using the glass walls of the skyscraper, stained with blood, Qin Shou, who had transford into the giant, tilted his head slightly. He gazed at his reflection, wondering if he should strike a pose next ti.

Damn, why am I thinking about this now?

Looking down, he spotted three monsters startled by the sudden burst of light, retreating hastily into a corner.

When they regained their composure, they noticed their target had vanished, replaced by the strange figure of the Light Giant.

"Roar!!"

The three monsters let out feral growls, showing no fear of Qin Shou’s towering figure. Gravel exploded beneath their feet as they launched themselves into the air, heading straight for Qin Shou’s neck.

Three dark shadows closed in within a blink, fast enough to catch Qin Shou off guard.

So fast!

"Roar!!"

In an instant, the three monsters landed on Qin Shou’s shoulders, howling with excitent. Their fangs tore viciously through the red skin of his neck, injecting mutant energy while sucking his energy voraciously.

"Urgh..."

At that mont, Qin Shou felt an explosion of pain at his neck, unable to react in ti. But then, he heard three shrill cries as the monsters fell from his shoulders to the ground.

"Roar..."

He looked down to see the three monsters writhing in agony on the ground. Their mouths and abdons burned with blazing light energy, while black smoke emanated from their bodies as though scorched by fiery flas. Their expressions were full of anguish, and the blood-red hue in their eyes, along with their fangs and claws, faded rapidly.

"This is..."

Qin Shou’s eyes widened—no—the Light Giant showed no expression.

Light energy could disperse the mutant energy within them and restore the vampires to their normal state?

Which ant, light energy countered the giant bat!

Joy surged through Qin Shou’s heart. He lifted a foot and stamped the struggling creatures into pulp, before slightly bending his legs and leaping towards the giant bat in the sky.

Since there’s a chance, he didn’t mind saving the city.

After all, he’d already transford—he had to do sothing.

"Buzz!!"

Qin Shou’s massive form radiated blazing light, shooting like a streak straight toward the giant bat high above.

"Boom..."

The searing radiance clashed with the giant bat, unleashing an infinite flood of light particles into a dazzling shockwave that blossod in the sky.

In an instant, the city’s darkness was once again driven away by the light. Countless people looked up at the sky, their weary bodies suddenly ward by a surge of heat.

anwhile, humans transford into vampires began emitting wisps of white smoke as the light particles scattered across the sky seeped into their bodies, quickly dispelling their fangs and violent urges.

"It’s light!"

In the giant pit, Su Liang, his face sared with blood, pushed away the rubble burying him and looked to the sky, his eyes full of disbelief.

The blazing Light Giant—he had seen it sowhere before!

Clutching the swollen lumps on his head, his brows furrowed in confusion.

Where had he seen it? He couldn’t recall.

"Mr. Su, are you alright?"

At that mont, "Qin Shou" jumped into the giant pit, his face full of concern.

Su Liang glanced at Qin Shou. Dizzy and foggy-headed, he failed to notice the flamboyance now inherent in Qin Shou’s every move.

"Qin Shou, who is that? He doesn’t seem like one of the Beast Cultivation Main City’s warriors." Su Liang clutched his head and asked.

"Qin Shou" nodded slightly, "Hm, the Beast Cultivation Main City’s reinforcents haven’t arrived yet. I don’t know where this person ca from. As soon as he appeared, he killed those three monsters. His strength is terrifying. The millions in Yara City might actually be saved."

Su Liang nodded, gazing up at the fading brilliance in the sky, his eyes tinged with a glimr of hope.

"Boom..."

Suddenly, a deafening sound echoed from the sky. The giant bat released a sinister sonar wave, causing dark clouds to churn furiously and engulf the fading light.

The next instant, the giant scread in agony, shot out of the dark clouds with violent force, and plumted straight from several thousand ters in the air.

"Boom..."

The giant crashed into a skyscraper, triggering an explosion that rocked the area within a thousand-ter radius like an eight-point earthquake. Nurous bats were forcibly pulverized by the impact.

anwhile, above, the giant bat shrieked with delight. With a flap of its wings, another wave of bats erged from the black clouds.

"What? He lost!"

Su Liang’s face turned pale with shock.

At the sa ti, everyone who witnessed this scene showed despair on their faces as a void of hopelessness engulfed their hearts once again.

"This monster is too terrifying. We can’t possibly win..."

"It’s over... We’re all finished..."

"The giant couldn’t even last a single move. We can’t win..."

The survivors in the city felt their spirits plumt as they prepared to face the bat swarm with bleak resignation.

Seconds later.

"Beep beep beep..."

In the giant pit, red lights flashed urgently as Qin Shou, his body wracked with pain, finally struggled to his feet and looked up at the giant bat in the sky. His eyes still burned with resolve.

Clenching his fists tightly—there was still a chance!

Though the light energy in his body could counter this monster, the disparity in strength between the two was glaring, making the effect negligible.

After all, it was only 10% light energy conversion.

Still, his strike wasn’t without rit.

The reason the giant bat created so many dark clouds wasn’t just so theatrics to create an oppressive, despair-filled atmosphere.

No—it was sunlight!

Sunlight could counter it!

He had keenly sensed this detail.

"Hah!"

Qin Shou’s eyes sparkled with light as he let out a fierce shout. The energy light at his chest erupted with radiance, sending a towering beam of light bursting from the pit, ripping through the dark clouds, and shooting straight into the sky.

He would release every remaining ounce of light energy in his body to disperse the black clouds and welco the light of day!
