"Crash crash crash..."
A Facehugger had just dropped dead at Qin Shou’s feet when rustling sounds ca from the direction of the Heavenly Pit.
The night-vision system locked onto the distant sand, revealing an endless swarm of Facehuggers rushing toward him. The sight of their countless pale skeletal hands clustering together sent shivers down Qin Shou’s spine.
What murderous intent in the dead of night!
Qin Shou stepped back, whipped out a card, and inserted it into the cara on his waist. His new battle armor enveloped his body.
Golden horns, crimson compound eyes, a primitive muscle-like red chest plate, and golden gemstone rings floating around his wrists and ankles.
"Buzz!"
Golden runes spread across the edges of the red chest plate, and his right lower leg was coated with shimring golden armor.
Kongwo, supre ascension!
Qin Shou bent slightly, a unique rune glowing on the sole of his right foot. After a faint rub against the sandy ground, he leaped upward.
"Boom!!!"
In midair, hundreds of Earth Core Energy Crystals beneath Qin Shou erupted in explosive bursts, releasing wild streams of energy.
It was his first ti channeling the energy of hundreds of Earth Core Energy Crystals. Qin Shou’s body trembled intensely, feeling as if his right leg might shatter. The numbing sensation quickly spread across his entire body.
He barely managed a forward flip, his figure streaking downward like a teor.
Nuclear Explosion Kick!
"Boom!!!"
The teor landed with a deafening crash, shaking the ground violently.
The sky-fire light grew into a scorching air shield covering a radius of several hundred ters, rapidly spreading outward.
Within the fiery shield, countless Facehuggers screeched and were consud into charred remains, then swept to ash by unrestrained waves of heat.
In the next mont, the massive shield exploded, its terrifying energy spilling out and engulfing thousands of ters of Facehuggers.
Seconds passed, and as the energy dissipated, a miniature mushroom cloud laced with dust rose slowly from the ground.
In the massive crater composed of scorched earth, Qin Shou lay flat, gazing up at the starry sky.
At this mont, his red chest plate was riddled with scorch marks and emitting curls of black smoke.
"Cough, cough... What an oversight. I just focused on brute force and expanding destruction, but I barely escaped getting roasted along with everything else."
Qin Shou coughed twice, slowly got up, and rubbed his aching shoulders.
Patting his scorched chest plate, the Cosmic Creature tal quickly devoured the stored tal within the Space Stone, restoring the armor to its original form.
Jumping out of the crater, Qin Shou looked around at the scorched earth and smiled in satisfaction.
"Haha, if only I had this level of destructive power on Earth, how incredible would that be?"
With Mars having only one-ninth the mass of Earth, the sa Nuclear Explosion Kick seed far more exaggerated on its surface.
"Beep beep..."
At that mont, the communicator chirped, and Qin Shou opened the video feed.
On the screen, Leng Wanbai avoided the crowd, her eyes turning cold.
"Master, I’ve sensed a familiar presence."
Qin Shou stroked his chin and beckoned, pulling a charred Facehugger corpse that had miraculously remained intact into his hand.
"Is it this thing?"
Leng Wanbai’s expression turned grave.
"That’s correct, Master. This creature is called a Facehugger, the natural enemy of our Devouring Spine Gu Clan. In terms of fearso power, it’s even more terrifying than the Spine-eating Gu."
Seeing Qin Shou stay silent, Leng Wanbai continued, "Facehuggers attack humans, implant their eggs into the host’s body, and use it as an incubator to create lethal killing machines known as Aliens.
However, unlike Spine-eating Gu, if humans are unavailable, they’ll inject eggs into other organisms, producing different types of Aliens."
"The teor we just saw likely carried countless Facehuggers aid at invading Earth."
Qin Shou pondered deeply. "You said Facehuggers are Spine-eating Gu’s natural enemy. Does that an they co from the sa planet?"
Leng Wanbai shook her head. "No, not the sa planet, but the sa star system.
In that star system, humans exist as well. Unlike Earth, the humans there have been reduced to two-legged sheep—livestock raised by the Spine-eating Gu and Aliens."
Qin Shou shivered at the ntion of "two-legged sheep."
"Xiao Bai, do you know why Aliens suddenly decided to invade Earth?"
Leng Wanbai thought for a mont. "I suspect it might be the Alien Pioneers who originally invaded Earth. They’re back.
These teorites carrying Facehuggers are the first stage of their invasion!"
The Devouring Spine Gu Clan once ca to Earth using the sa thod."
"Pioneers?"
Qin Shou furrowed his brows. Back then, both the Kid Star People and Alien Pioneers were driven off Earth.
The Kid Star People lacked the ability to manipulate such teorites and wouldn’t dare launch another invasion of the current Earth, which is far different from the Old Era.
As for the Pioneers Leng Wanbai ntioned, Qin Shou couldn’t understand—why was Earth such an irresistible target?
Why were they so determined to invade Earth?
Shaking his head, Qin Shou said, "Notify Xiao Sheng and the others to head to the nearest Mars Base and find Big Black Face.
If Facehuggers lay eggs inside Cockroach Monster Bodies, the resulting Aliens will be overwhelming. This assessnt can’t continue."
"Alright, I understand."
Leng Wanbai ended the transmission and summoned her team to head toward the Mars Base.
Qin Shou wasted no ti speeding toward the Mars Base as well.
While the teors streaking across the night sky numbered many, only a few might actually reach Earth.
Earth owes much of its survival as a Life Planet to the protective dynamics of the solar system’s seven other planets."
Jupiter, as a gas giant and the largest planet among the Eight Planets, with its vast mass and strong gravitational pull, deflects celestial bodies or teorites potentially headed for Earth.
Venus and Mars, with their surfaces marked by countless teor impact craters, also shield Earth from most teor collisions, minimizing the probability of a direct hit."
