As Qin Shou had expected, the so-called Princess was indeed three female rfolk.

Three ornately dressed female rfolk ca to the palace, and upon seeing Qin Shou’s deep-blue fishtail, flawless and without a trace of blemish, their hearts burned with jealousy.

The three female rfolk exchanged glances and instantly made a decision.

This little wench is too much of a threat—form an alliance!

Alright, alliance it is!

The very next mont, the three female rfolk’s faces blood with enthusiastic smiles.

Qin Shou naturally smiled back as well.

Female rfolk with Horror Six-star strength—it’s just perfect for enhancing Zhi Yin.

...

Half an hour later.

When the City Lord rmaid stord back angrily, she saw her three "Ladies" just walking out of the palace, her expression turning even darker.

"What are you all doing here?" she asked coldly.

The three female rfolk slightly bowed and waved their hands with a smile.

"Oh, nothing much, just having a friendly chat with Zhi Yin, that’s all."

"That’s right, why so tense? Afraid we’ll eat her or sothing?"

The City Lord saw Qin Shou within the palace and found that there didn’t seem to be anything out of place, letting her instinctively breathe a sigh of relief.

"You all better not play any small tricks, or I won’t let you off easily!"

She issued her warning, then broke into a smile, heading towards Qin Shou.

"Zhi Yin, dear, everything’s sorted—I’ll take you to see your room now."

"Alright."

With that, the two clasped hands and swam towards a side hall.

"Zhi Yin, dear, what did you talk about with them just now?" the City Lord asked with a smile.

Qin Shou shook his head. "Nothing much, just the three ladies inviting to go out for so fun."

"Fun?"

The City Lord narrowed her eyes slightly, replying impassively, "Zhi Yin, dear, stay away from them in the future. If you want to play, I’ll accompany you personally."

"Alright, I’ll listen to City Lord Sister." Qin Shou nodded obediently.

In his heart, though, he couldn’t help but ponder. These three female rfolk weren’t particularly strong, yet the City Lord seed wary of them—looks like the rfolk world is rather complicated.

Judging from the City Lord rmaid’s expression upon entering, Qin Shou had no need to guess—Liu Wushuang and the others must have escaped.

Quite capable, aren’t they?

But no matter how good they are, they couldn’t possibly hunt down a Horror Nine-star rfolk in the sea.

This ti, victory was assured for Qin Shou.

The reason he was still lingering here was rely to see what treasures this castle still harbored.

With that thought, Qin Shou grabbed the City Lord rmaid’s hand and smiled, "City Lord Sister, let’s look at the room later—you can take around this place instead."

The City Lord rmaid didn’t refuse. "Alright, if Zhi Yin, dear, is interested, I’ll show you around."

"Thank you, City Lord Sister."

"Ah, no need for thanks between us..."

And so, Qin Shou followed the City Lord rmaid, leisurely "wandering" around the grand underwater castle.

"Hm? City Lord Sister, what’s that place?"

"Oh, that’s where the soldiers reside—nothing worth seeing."

"What about over there?"

"That’s the area for my household and family mbers..."

Qin Shou pointed to a heavily guarded palace, "City Lord Sister, what’s that place?"

"Haha, that’s the Underground Palace Treasure Vault—it holds quite a few treasures I’ve collected," she responded with a laugh.

"Treasures? City Lord Sister, let’s take a look!" Qin Shou’s eyes lit up.

The City Lord rmaid hesitated. "This..."

Seeing this, Qin Shou didn’t even give her ti to hesitate, pulling her along and resorting to playful pestering.

Calling it pestering, it was really more akin to acting spoiled.

This made Qin Shou feel sick to his stomach for half a day.

In the end, the City Lord rmaid decided to take Qin Shou to have a look.

There’s a saying in the human world: you can’t catch a wolf without sacrificing the bait.

Zhi Yin was a Royal rfolk, and using force wasn’t an option—it would make everything very troubleso.

To win her over and gain support from her backing forces, the only choice was to proceed slowly, offering so treasures first to keep her pacified.

With this thought, the City Lord rmaid led Qin Shou to instruct the guards to open the treasure vault doors.

"Buzz..."

As the door swung open, rays of dazzling treasure light illuminated the grand vault, practically blinding Qin Shou.

The vault was packed with Earth Core Energy Crystals, various unknown Sea Beast Scale Armors, glowing treasure beads, tridents made of special tals, as well as fragnts of cha and spaceships.

There were so many treasures that the rfolk’s bubble-like spatial storage couldn’t contain them all—no wonder they built a dedicated treasure vault.

Qin Shou approached a piece of a damaged spaceship and curiously asked, "City Lord Sister, what’s this?"

"This is an alien spaceship that crashed into the ocean a hundred years ago; I personally killed the alien life onboard, and the ship beca part of my collection," the City Lord rmaid replied proudly.

Qin Shou offered an appropriately awed expression, though inwardly he felt speechless.

How many of these land-crashing alien lives were there, anyway?

"And what’s that?"

He pointed to a damaged cha towering fifty ters high nearby.

"Oh, that’s from thirty years ago when I fought a human chanical Master. He fled after losing, leaving behind this third-level cha.

But unfortunately, it wasn’t created using Cosmic Creature tal, so its value is limited," the City Lord rmaid lanted.

Qin Shou raised a brow and suddenly took out a tallic sphere.

"City Lord Sister, is this Cosmic Creature tal you ntioned?"

He handed the tal sphere to her, and after closer inspection, her expression changed dramatically.

"This is Cosmic Creature tal! Zhi Yin, dear, where did you get this?" she exclaid.

Qin Shou replied casually, "Oh, this is one of my toys—there’s plenty more back ho. City Lord Sister, you don’t have any?"

He stared at her with wide eyes, unblinkingly.

The City Lord rmaid’s face froze; if she said she didn’t have any, she would definitely be looked down upon.

Being looked down upon would leave a poor impression, sothing she couldn’t afford.

"Ahem, Zhi Yin, dear, of course I have this stuff."

She then retrieved a gleaming iron armor for rfolk from her bubble storage.

"Zhi Yin, dear, this is armor I crafted using Cosmic Creature tal—how’s that? Pretty impressive, right?" she said with a smile.
