"Qin Shou, you actually got to the central zone before us?"

"What, he’s Qin Shou?" A nearby teenager’s expression turned unfriendly.

"Well, running into this kid here, we might as well..."

These Beast God Masters cracked their knuckles and walked toward Qin Shou with ferocious intent.

"Ahem, silence!"

The staff mber uttered this casually, generating a storm of overwhelming Star Power that trapped the Beast God Masters within, preventing any advance.

Everyone was shocked. This level of power... Unbreakable Realm!

Qin Shou glanced at the staff mber in surprise and then made a "universally understandable" hand gesture to the Beast God Masters.

"Screw you!"

"Just wait, you little punk, we’ll make you pay..."

"No need for that. ’Looking good’ isn’t part of my persona."

Qin Shou waved nonchalantly and walked away effortlessly.

The Beast God Masters cursed furiously while being subdued by the staff mber.

...

South of the castle, Qin Shou returned to the crowd.

"Brother Qin, how did it go? Did you et the principal of the Beast Cultivation Main City?" Wang Sheng eagerly asked.

"Beast Cultivation Main City? Principal?" Qin Shou blinked in confusion.

Wang Sheng, seeing Qin Shou’s puzzled expression, explained, "Brother Qin, Beast Cultivation Main City is the holy land that all Breeding Beast System students dream of—a place above the Federation’s Beast Cultivation Universities.

This ti during the Dragon Island Competition, Beast Cultivation Main City is only recruiting fifty Breeding Beast students. The person you just t must surely be the principal of the city."

Qin Shou scratched his head. That odd old man looked weaker than Yu Shusheng—how could he be a principal?

But a bigshot’s power isn’t always obvious.

Usually, the older, the stronger.

"Brother Qin, what did the principal say to you?" Wang Sheng pressed on.

Qin Shou shook his head. "Nothing much. He just praised as a ’dragon among n’ and said he’s planning to train as his successor, destined to save the world."

"Really?" Wang Sheng bead in joy.

"Of course not."

Wang Sheng froze in disbelief.

Qin Shou rolled his eyes, "Let’s go find a place to rest. When does the Dragon Island Competition end?"

"Oh, it ends when five hundred people enter the central zone and rankings are finalized."

"Alright, we’ll just wait, then."

...

A day later, the number of Beast Tars arriving at the south of the castle was still sparse.

On the virtual leaderboard, Qin Shou remained first, followed closely by Leng Wanbai in second place.

The rankings of the Four Little Saints weren’t far behind.

Although so late-arriving Beast Tars managed to squeeze into the top ten, it was only because they had begged Qin Shou in Evil Dragon Valley to modify their Dragon Beasts.

Which technically made them "our own people."

Two days later, the number of Beast Tars reaching the central zone hit one hundred.

Three days later, two hundred.

Four days later, four hundred.

And on this day, while roaming near the castle, Qin Shou finally spotted so familiar faces.

"Fatty, you look tragic—so tragic."

Qin Shou walked up to Fang Bao, who had visibly lost weight, his battle armor scorched and in tatters, resembling a worn-out dog. With an exaggerated look of "concern," he addressed him.

Fang Bao, seeing Qin Shou appear before him, turned livid as he muttered curses to himself.

God of Technology, why haven’t you taken him away yet?

"I figured you weren’t dead," Fang Bao grunted.

Qin Shou chuckled. "You do know best."

Fang Bao: "Ugh... I feel like puking."

"Qin Shou, you’re alive?"

At that mont, a cry of surprise sounded from behind. Qin Shou instinctively turned around.

"Oh dear, and who might you be?"

He pointed at two disheveled, blackened figures, recoiling a few steps.

Bai Ke: "..."

Nan Xuewei: "..."

The emotional mont they had prepared was completely ruined.

"Hahaha, Qin Shou, I’m so glad you’re okay! By the way, where’s Wan Bai? I really miss her..."

Similarly ragged-looking Mark dashed up to Qin Shou in excitent, attempting to hug him.

"Nope, nope, we’re not that close—back off."

Qin Shou retreated disdainfully, fleeing rapidly toward the eastern side of the castle.

...

North of the castle, Hu Yiyi cut off Qin Shou’s path, her gaze unfriendly.

"You’re alive, huh? You actually managed to fool twice—I’ll rember this."

Qin Shou smiled and waved casually, "Haha, Classmate Hu, long ti no see. I’ve got sothing to do, so I’ll be off now."

Watching him disappear like a blur, Hu Yiyi narrowed her eyes. "Let’s see where you can run."

...

Returning to the eastern castle, Qin Shou spotted Fang Bao’s rank displayed on the virtual leaderboard.

[Fang Bao]

[cha: Mobile Seven]

[Level: Level 2, Star 1]

...

[Overall score: 83]

[Rank: 24]

Qin Shou’s lips twitched—so it was this kid who had stolen his discarded works.

...

By the fifth day, the slots for five hundred participants were filled, and the Federation contacted the respective city representatives to arrive at the castle through the Transmission Array.

On the virtual leaderboard, Qin Shou’s na still shone at the top.

Zuo Dahong and Qiao Jianshan, both dragging Yu Shusheng, who was too overjoyed to stand upright, arrived outside Qin Shou’s capsule apartnt.

"Excuse , is Qin Shou living here?"

Qiao Jianshan pulled Wang Sheng aside with a smile and asked.

He recognized this young man as a top talent from one of the cities ranked in the top hundred—a competitor in the Dragon Island Competition who had secured a spot in the top ten.

Wang Sheng eyed the trio impatiently and responded casually, "Who are you folks, and why are you looking for Brother Qin?"

"Brother... Qin?"

Qiao Jianshan glanced at Zuo Dahong and the euphoric Yu Shusheng.

The kid is doing this well on Dragon Island?

Wang Sheng saw the trio’s lack of response and cursed them quietly for being oddballs.

"Shoo, shoo, stop bothering Brother Qin and Big Sister while they’re resting," he waved dismissively.

"Wait, we are—"

Before Qiao Jianshan could finish, the capsule apartnt door opened and Leng Wanbai stepped out.

"Who are you?" she asked, gazing at the trio.

The events in West City were entirely erased from her mory.

The "fainting" Yu Shusheng suddenly lifted his head, saw Leng Wanbai, and promptly rolled his eyes, pretending to die again.

Qin Shou stepped out of his room and shook his head at the sight of Yu Shusheng’s antics.

"Principal, could you snap out of it?" Qin Shou said dryly.

Upon hearing Qin Shou’s voice, Yu Shusheng broke free from Qiao Jianshan and Zuo Dahong, rushing toward Qin Shou in exhilaration.

"Hahaha, Qin Shou, I knew I didn’t misjudge you."

Qin Shou quickly dodged Yu Shusheng’s hug.

"Xiao Bai, Xiao Sheng, go handle your tasks."

The two nodded and left.

Pointing to his room, Qin Shou smiled, "Three Principals, please co in."

...

Inside the room.

The excitent on the trio’s faces had slightly subsided.

"Qin Shou, I never expected you to achieve first place," Yu Shusheng said, taking a deep breath.

Qin Shou poured tea for the three, smiling, "Given West City’s plan to participate in the Dragon Island Competition, I assu you were just gambling on a stroke of luck."

The trio looked at each other, their smiles bitter.

"That’s right. Without taking this gamble, West City might be squeezed out of the Federation’s top thousand cities," Qiao Jianshan admitted.

Zuo Dahong nodded with a sigh. "True. If we didn’t secure the developnt rights to Dragon Island, West City’s already strained resources would weaken its overall strength further. We had no choice but to gamble."

Yu Shusheng burst into laughter, "But we made the right bet. With Qin Shou achieving first place for the Breeding Beast System on Dragon Island, West City will gain one of the largest developnt rights."

The most precious resources of Dragon Island weren’t the Dragon Beasts, but rather the rare minerals and Earth Core Energy Crystals buried deep in the surrounding sea.

With developnt rights, West City could rapidly accumulate resources and elevate its overall strength significantly.

Seeing the trio still visibly excited, Qin Shou shook his head and adopted a serious tone.

"Three Principals, while winning developnt rights is undoubtedly good news for West City, you must be prepared.

This victory grants West City access to one of Dragon Island’s resource-rich zones for developnt.

But does West City have the capacity to manage this?"

His words were like a bucket of cold water, imdiately sobering the trio, their expressions turning grim.

West City was a small city. Securing a minor share of developnt rights was entirely manageable.

But gaining such a large slice of the pie could lead to disaster.

This wasn’t a simple matter of eating till satisfied.

If West City couldn’t handle it, others would co to steal it—and make them cough up everything they’d claid.

After considering this, Yu Shusheng saw Qin Shou’s calm deanor and cautiously asked, "Qin Shou, do you have a plan?"
