Although the "Sea Monster" had already approached him, Komi’er showed not the slightest panic; his hands danced swiftly, pressing buttons and manipulating joysticks as if they were the strings of a harp, creating a harmonious lody under his touch.
The Golden Armor cha’s body drifted backward as if it were a leaf blown by the wind, and imdiately after, the black-and-white "Silver Knights" completed their calibration.
Beams of light wove into a net, completely enveloping the Chi Wen, but in the next mont, the ch displayed an eerily agile maneuverability.
The stream-lined body twisted its joints, its scale-like decorative armor plates opening and closing with such precise changes that Komi’er, the ace of the chanical Division from the Ideal Country, couldn’t help but be impressed as he pulled the joystick while his opponent dodged the beams.
The Golden Armor’s chest suddenly opened, a golden-red glow burst forth from the Energy-gathering Cannon in its chest, complenting the Silver Knights’ web of light beams and forming a perfect encirclent, sealing off every possible escape route.
Yet, the ch known as the "Sea Monster," though being the sa model, unleashed a level of precision at that mont that was drastically different from before; a large number of foam bursts forth from beneath the scales, and with weird Foam Protection, the ch precisely identified the weakest point on the left side of the barrage, took a few hits from the beam strikes, and traced a beautiful arc through the air.
"Oh, after finally breaking through, not only did it not flee, but it actually headed toward ?" Watching the "Sea Monster" feign escape and then charge toward him in a curve, Komi’er felt his blood boiling with excitent.
As his ten fingers moved rhythmically, a series of buttons were rapidly pressed, the Golden Armor’s backpack unfolded, and seven completely different types of live Ammo were launched simultaneously.
As all the ammunition was fired, the ammo pack on the backpack was jettisoned, reducing the weight of the ch. At the sa ti, a dense cloud of tallic particles, mixed with smoke from the exploding ammo pack, spread around the Golden Armor.
Radar, thermal detection, electromagnetic scans...
Nearly all short-range locking features were disrupted, and Komi’er, wearing an excited smile, drew his Beam Sword, waiting for the Sea Monster’s approach.
"Interesting!" Dexter’s fingers danced across the keyboard like playing a piano, pressing the connected keys with precision to push the Chi Wen’s performance to its limit; the graceful ch traced unpredictable arcs in the air, evading the pursuit of the Silver Knights and heading straight into the smoke filled with various interference particles.
"Here it cos!"
Feeling through the ch’s specialized detection devices that the distribution of interference particles had shifted, Komi’er imdiately discerned the location of the "Sea Monster," his engine roared, and his intense fighting spirit burst forth in an instant.
The Golden Armor cha turned into a streak of light as the blindingly white Light Sword precisely swept toward the enemy’s position.
"Got you!"
The resistance fed back by the Body Sensing System brought an inexplicable disappointnt to Komi’er’s heart, but then, the sensation of cutting through rely an outer shell and then hitting emptiness imdiately refocused his attention.
"A decoy?!"
Looking at the debris captured on the monitor, Komi’er recognized at a glance that it was the "Sea Monster’s" Foam Protection system, which had already shown resistance to high temperatures, corrosion, and impact in previous encounters; and now, it appeared it could even montarily create a replacent?
"With such technological prowess, it’s no wonder even the Ideal Country wants to get their hands on it. Sorry, but facing such an enemy, there’s no luxury of taking it alive!"
Komi’er quickly discarded any commands to "minimize damage" from his mind, positioned his Light Sword horizontally, and relied on experience to block a dagger thrust at him from a blind spot.
But imdiately following that dagger, two flashes of light suddenly appeared, and an intense sense of danger enveloped Komi’er’s nerves in an instant.
Fingers forcefully swept across a row of buttons, deploying all shield systems without regard for energy loss.
A strong vibrational sensation pierced through the ch’s shock resistance and acted directly upon the cockpit. However, Komi’er’s face did not show the slightest hint of panic but rather an increasingly crazed smile—
"That’s right, this is it, let burn even more!"
A golden aura enveloped the ch, that intense aura even perceptible through the screen by Dexter.
"Truly a worthy opponent, then let’s see just how far you can go!"
A slight smile curled the edges of Dexter’s mouth as he directly canceled the linked control and completely broke down every motion, issuing the most direct commands to every active joint with his ultra-fast hand speed.
Just as Komi’er, having completed the Bursting Energy, was about to launch a quick attack, he suddenly felt the opposing ch’s speed begin to slow down. But before his annoyance could grow, a pressure far more terrifying than before began to weigh upon him.
The pilots of the Ideal Country were masters of psychic commands and naturally did not regard this direct premonition affecting the spirit as any illusion.
Without the slightest hesitation, the thrusters operated at full power, bearing the imnse propulsion force, and in a maneuver that almost crushed him to the point of spitting blood, the golden ch forcibly retreated several body lengths.
Almost at the exact sa mont, the slow-moving ch had already brandished what seed like an unthreatening dagger, and in an instant, the area filled with interference tals was silently split in two.
Monitors instantly beca clearer and brighter, while the near-miss with death caused Komi’er to break out in a cold sweat as his body trembled excitedly, and his psychic field’s coverage area contracted even more.
"To surpass the swordsmanship of White Forest Country, to surpass the chs of Ideal Country, what on earth is Heavenly Court’s background? No, none of that matters!"
Komi’er’s psychic field was pressed to its limits, leaving barely a thin layer covering the surface of the ch, but at this mont, the performance that the ch was unleashing had already far exceeded its theoretical limit.
The golden light tore through the sky, the turbulent air from the burst displacing even the distant support of the Silver Knight.
But the movents of the ch before him were strangely eerie, as if it was a fish swimming, its movents incredibly slight yet agilely navigating through the chaotic airflow.
It was as if the air blasted open by Komi’er had instead beco his own ho field!
"Worthy of the ’Sea Monster’!" A light seed to ignite between Komi’er’s brows, a rune seeming to coalesce out of thin air—
[Concentration]!
In that mont, everything seed to slow down. Komi’er slowly raised his sword and stabbed towards the cockpit of the ’Sea Monster,’ which seed entirely oblivious, almost presenting its cockpit to the Light Sword.
"I’ve got you!"
"I’ve got you!"
Two thoughts rose in different places simultaneously, and everything fell into silence amid brief noise.
