With a gulp of Lucky Milk, Feng Xue pushed open the doors one by one. As his fingers touched the study’s door, the power that spread throughout the room was triggered.

Although it felt different from before, Feng Xue knew that the door had opened.

Without any intention of pausing, he pushed open the door, and as it swung open, the scene before him changed as well.

As he felt as though he had passed through so kind of barrier, Feng Xue found himself in a modern office.

The decor of the office was relatively simple: only a desk, an ergonomic chair, and a computer that seed a bit different but was essentially made up of a keyboard, monitor, and main unit.

Although the computer’s screen was black, the faint humming sound coming from the tower suggested it was probably just asleep.

Seeing this, Feng Xue imdiately went to use the knowledge granted by the "Hacker" label to access the basic information of this world, but whether by coincidence or the activation of his own Shit Magnet Aura, a harsh alarm sound began to echo in his ears.

It wasn’t that Feng Xue was being rash; it was just that this kind of high-pitched, urgent, and piercing noise was hard to mistake for anything other than an alarm.

Feng Xue’s first reaction to the noise was that he had been discovered, but soon a serious, slightly distorted broadcast voice began to blare out amidst the alarm:

"Warning! Warning! Unknown ard forces have invaded the experintal area. We are now entering ergency shelter status. All non-combat personnel should imdiately join the evacuation sequence. Combat personnel, hurry to the experintal building. Crew, enter combat-readiness mode. Repeat, there are unknown ard forces invading..."

"What’s going on here? Does this an the place is so kind of laboratory or similar institution?"

Thinking of this, Feng Xue hesitated briefly, took out the All Things Squeezing Driver, inserted the Orca Bottle ensuring he could transform at any mont.

It wasn’t that he was scared, but rather he had a strong bias against "laboratories."

How should I put it? You can never be sure what strange things might co out of a laboratory.

Casually cloaking himself with Hermit Power to suppress his presence and sense of discord, Feng Xue opened the office’s main door and imdiately saw two distinct groups of people.

What surprised him was their outfits...

They were quite weird.

The n had long hair tied in topknots, and their clothing also looked strange. While it wasn’t so kind of ancient hanfu, it was still visibly different from modern attire, as if it were the result of hanfu evolving independently. Although it initially looked odd, a closer inspection revealed it was actually quite easy on the eyes.

Shifting his focus from their clothing, Feng Xue concentrated on the crowd, using their weapons to quickly distinguish between combat and non-combat personnel, then decisively followed behind the combatants.

Co on, if there was an attack, then surely there must be sothing good in that experintal building. If he were still weak, he certainly would evacuate with the non-combatants. But being confident of his own safety, he naturally wanted to see what treasures were hidden there!

...

It had to be said that the discipline of the combatants in this laboratory was rather extraordinary. As they moved through the corridors, personnel from various posts joined the ranks with weapons in hand, yet no one chatted. Each person wore a serious expression, marching quickly in one direction. The only sounds Feng Xue could hear were breathing and footsteps.

The office where Feng Xue had appeared was obviously a peripheral area. After running for about ten minutes, he finally reached the so-called experintal building. By then, the vanguard had evidently been in a firefight for quite so ti. Feng Xue looked up to see two groups of combatants in different styles of exoskeletons blasting away at each other.

"There’s quite a gap in strength!" Feng Xue narrowed his eyes as he watched the lab’s combatants, outnumbered yet almost entirely overwheld, and observed the soldiers in black exoskeletons with curiosity.

"Is that symbol, a bird?"

As Feng Xue pondered, the lead black exoskeleton suddenly stretched out his arms. Accompanied by a series of dazzling chanical transformations, a cannon glowing with a pale blue fla unfolded on his chest.

Seeing this, the lab combatants imdiately tried to open fire to interrupt, but they couldn’t lift their heads due to the suppressive firepower from the other black exoskeleton soldiers.

Finally, as the light fla burst forth, a light barrier made up of many hexagons sprang up outside the experintal building, reminiscent of a sci-fi world’s protective shield.

But as the barrier materialized, two black exoskeleton soldiers stepped forward, placing two palm-sized black discs on the solidified light barrier.

Crack!

Just like a diamond point hitting a weak point on safety glass, the once sturdy barrier suddenly cracked and then disappeared. Following this, thick black smoke began to rise within the once-pristine experintal building.

Seeing this, Feng Xue activated Breath Concealnt and dashed toward the direction of the black exoskeleton soldiers. Under the mighty displacent ability of the Shengxuan Dingguan Step, he noiselessly approached the vicinity of the black exoskeleton soldiers.

However, at this ti, these soldiers were not communicating; instead, they seed to have so unspoken understanding and went about their tasks without any need for communication.

Feng Xue was not fully aware of the technological level of their equipnt, and he didn’t dare to get too close. But, upon discovering that their devices seed to be conducting an Invasion through so network, he quickly took out his phantom smartphone. Following a series of rather rock-and-roll hacking routines, a barrage of data unfolded before Feng Xue’s eyes. At the sa ti, he finally heard the voices of the black exoskeleton soldiers—

"Group Two calling Group One, the experintal building’s defenses have been completely disabled, ready for extraction at any ti. How is your side doing?"

"Group One here, we’ve entered the hangar where Daji’s plan is located and are copying the data. However, the finished product has been moved by the crew. The Xuan Armor at the individual level can’t breach a Land Ship."

"Bring the data back first! We have three Immortal Masters taking action; it’s just a Land Ship, they won’t escape Jizhou!"

"Understood!"

...

"Daji’s project? Land Ship? Immortal Masters? What kind of ss is this?" Feng Xue grimaced, turning his attention back to the data on the smartphone screen. As the text flowed before his eyes, his expression turned weird—

"What the hell kind of developnt is this? Divine Enthronent seed?"
