Swoosh.

"Now!" Drogon yelled just as the Burrowing Basilisk rushed into the jagged woods.

Imdiately, two Dark Acolytes ,both Tier 3 Iron Fighters wielding glimring curved blades dropped from the trees above. They slashed down at the basilisk’s back, catching it off guard.

The beast shrieked and twisted violently in pain, but reacted just as quick directing Its sharp claws and plunging it straight into one of the acolyte’s chest, while its massive tail whipped around and slamd into the other, sending him flying and crashing into a tree, shattering it in the process.

Roar!

The basilisk whipped its scaled head around just in ti to see two fireballs swooshing toward it. Curving its serpentine tail, it twisted its massive body, dodging the first blast only for an acolyte to suddenly appear and slam a warhamr into its flank.

BAM

The impact slowed the beast just enough for the second fire ball to land.

Boom!

The second fireball struck squarely, erupting into flas that scorched its scales. The basilisk hissed in agony and fury, its hateful gaze locking onto the acolyte with the warhamr, who was already scrambling toward the bushes.

The basilisk dove after him.

The acolyte whipped his warhamr around, pouring every ounce of his aether into the strike but missed as the beast dropped lower. Its jaws snapping shut around his leg, it’s fangs sinking deep and anchoring into his bones. With a violent twist, its tail coiled around him, about to crush him into bloody paste.

Then

Boom!

A massive black fist, threaded with red veins, smashed into the basilisk’s flank. Shattering countless of it’s scales, and sending the beast crashing through several trees. Splinters, scales, and chunks of flesh the remains of the unfortunate acolyte still trapped in its coils scattered across the ground.

Drogon finally revealed himself, his face pale, his left hand gripping his black-and-red-veined right arm tightly. He gritted his teeth as he forced the now-bloody Wraith Palm forward again.

Swoosh!

The colossal fist slamd into the basilisk’s rising body once more, not even giving it ti to recover.

The basilisk hissed in pain, the damage finally taking its toll. Using the montum of the attack, it dove straight into the ground, with the intent of escaping but there was no way Drogon was letting the slithering beast escape.

Drogon growled in fury and pain as he clenched his right hand into a fist, then swung it downward. The Wraith Palm, now visibly more powerful, mirrored his motion and smashed into the burrow directly behind the burrowing basilisk.

Boom!

The fist slamd into the earth, sending a violent gust of wind in all directions. A massive, fist-shaped crater ford, cutting off the basilisk’s escape and leaving it stunned.

Boom!

Drogon struck again, giving it no ti to recover.

Boom.

Then again.

Boom.

And again—

Until Drogon finally collapsed to the ground, groaning in agony. His right hand began to tremble violently, as more blackened veins spread and began decaying. He bit down hard on his tongue, then quickly pulled out a glowing red potion and poured it over the decaying arm.

Sizzle.

Drogon scread as the potion burned into his flesh, halting the decay just in ti before it reached his shoulder.

Trembling, he slowly raised his head and stared into the crater three ters deep and two ters wide. At its center lay a broken carcass of shattered scales, crushed bone, and ruptured organs.

The burrowling basilisk was finally dead.

Drogon knelt there, his horned head lowered, breathing heavily between pain, exhaustion, and grim relief.

He couldn’t help but thank his quick thinking,he had clearly done his earlier display of killing the two acolytes mid chase intentionally in order to force the other 7 to realize that he planned on killing them first before the basilisk would and knowing full well that he was a rank 2 bronze warrior and would easily catch up to them and do to them what he did to those unfortunate brethen they had pleaded a second chance of which drogon had commanded they lay an ambush for he had noticed the basilisk slowing down due to it’s repeated clashes with his wraith palm, even though they knew drogon was still using them as cannon fodder to prepare his trump card they simply had no choice which lead to the death of 2 acolytes out of the seven with one seriously injured and drogon himself in the state he was in

But drogon forced himself to his feet stealthy hiding his decayed arm within his already tattered black robes and changed his exhusted expression to a ruthless one

"Co brethen ls,let us gaze at this foul creature that have cost the lives of our fallen breathen "he called in a loud, and confident voice hiding the fact that he was at the verge of collapse, after all he knew that even a strong lion would fall to the gnawing maws of hyenas when crippled

Seeing the remaining five acolytes gather close to him with their fear and slight relief evident on thief faces at the fact that they had just survived a terrible encounter with a crazy savage beast

Drogon continued

"Fear not ,for your sins have been absorbed by our gracious god ,and it has been proven by your survival,he has shown us his rcy by granting victory over this slain serpent"he claid the victory for himself even though more that a dozen Acolytes has died due to his antics. He turned to one of the acolytes with a more muscular figure

"Build an altar,we shall sacrifice this damned serpent to our god for his rcy and favor"he proclaid as he moved towards the bushes with intention s of resting and healing himself out of sight.

Causing the musclar acolyte to gaze at his back in relief, relief at the fact that Lord drogon had chosen to forgive them for thier cowardice and had given them a second chance,so he turned to the other four with one clutching his broken ribs which had clearly pierced his waist and was spilling blood,he ignored that and spat

"You heard our Lord , grab the remains of that vile creature for we shall build the altar on the spot it’s drew it’s last painful death "
