ng Liang felt he must have misheard.

"My mom’s grave was dug up?"

ng Liang blinked, looking completely incredulous.

The viewers in the livestream were stunned as well.

[Soone dug up his mom’s grave? You’ve got to be kidding .]

[That’s so ssed up. Why would soone just dig up a person’s grave for no reason?]

[Could it be grave robbers?]

[Who gets buried with that much money these days? Grave robbers aren’t idiots!]

[Maybe he did sothing to offend soone, and they dug up his mom’s grave to get revenge?]

[ 1, that has to be it!]

ng Liang was completely bewildered. For the past few days, his mother had been appearing in his dreams constantly. She would even pull on his blankets, preventing him from getting a single night of peaceful sleep.

And now, he was learning that his mother was haunting him all because her grave had been dug up.

The image of his mother scolding him furiously at his bedside now flooded his mind, leaving no room for any other thoughts.

’So this was the real reason?’

His mind felt like a dried-up riverbed, completely stagnant. But then, sothing suddenly occurred to him.

His mother had ticulously chosen that burial plot herself. He’d heard she had consulted quite a few masters about it.

ng Liang didn’t understand any of that, but he knew the location. It was on a large mountain with nice scenery.

’But it’s so remote. Who would go all the way out there to dig it up for no reason?’

’Then again, it’s precisely because it’s so remote that soone could dig it up whenever they wanted, and I’d never find out.’

ng Liang was so angry his lips trembled.

"Master, what in the world is going on? My family has always been kind to others, and we haven’t even lived in the village for years. My mother was a gentle soul; she couldn’t possibly have had enemies."

"Why on earth would her grave be dug up?"

[I wouldn’t be so absolute about that. Sotis, you can say sothing without aning to, and a person will hold a grudge against you for it. You just never know.]

[So weird. What could be the reason then?]

[Her grave was dug up? Who has that kind of ti? That’s just sick.]

Su Nian studied his expression and said with conviction.

"Soone did indeed dig up your mother’s grave."

"It was soone your mother didn’t know."

"What?"

ng Liang was seething. ’It can’t be that so stranger dug it up for no reason!’

He wished he could go back right now and beat the person who dug up his mother’s grave half to death. ’How could anyone be so depraved?’

Su Nian explained.

"The feng shui of your mother’s grave is indeed excellent."

At Su Nian’s hint, the gears in ng Liang’s head started turning.

He did rember a feng shui master who was very fond of that plot of land.

’Could it be? Did that feng shui master covet the land so much that he decided to dig up my mother?’

Su Nian continued, "Your mother passed away a long ti ago, and you had already bought this auspicious plot, so that should have been the end of it. However, the feng shui master accidentally let it slip how good the feng shui of your mother’s grave was."

"A beggar happened to overhear him. He wanted to bring glory to his ancestors and ensure a prosperous future for his descendants—even though he didn’t have any. He decided he would be buried in that grave himself one day, so he planned to dig up your mother."

[That vagrant is disgusting!]

[So that’s what happened. I was just saying, who would dig up soone’s grave for no reason!]

[That’s so ssed up. Isn’t he afraid the family will co after him?]

ng Liang frowned, deep in thought.

Now that he thought about it, he did rember sothing.

Before his mother was even buried, a feng shui master had co asking about the plot.

He had offered a high price and repeatedly assured ng Liang that he would find him an equally good plot.

But his mother had spent a long ti picking out that plot while she was still alive, so of course he couldn’t agree to sell it.

But he never imagined a vagrant would overhear it and do sothing so disgusting.

Su Nian paused for a mont before continuing.

"The vagrant didn’t act on this information for a long ti. It was only recently, after he ca down with a serious illness, that he took action, thinking his days were numbered."

"He was getting ready to dig your mother up, but then his illness unexpectedly began to heal on its own, so he stopped the whole thing."

Hearing Su Nian’s explanation, ng Liang’s face turned dark as a thundercloud.

’That vagrant is just despicable. My mother was such a gentle person. Whenever she encountered poor people like him, she would always give them sothing to eat, to help them out.’

’To think that after she died, soone would plot to take over her grave and even try to dig her up.’

’Even if it wasn’t technically a cri since he stopped, it was still disgusting and utterly depraved.’

The more ng Liang thought about it, the angrier he beca. He just couldn’t believe it.

To think that his mother, who was kind her whole life, would suffer such an indignity at the hands of soone like that, even after her death.

He took a deep breath and looked at Su Nian.

"Master, is there any way to punish him?"

"My mom was an incredibly kind person. For her to encounter sothing like this after she passed away... I’m just so furious."

Su Nian shook her head.

"That’s up to fate. However, as for this beggar... he will definitely be punished."

"Don’t worry. He’s going to prison very soon."
