1442 Trap

The two of them looked at Chu Nan expressionlessly.

“His Majesty has instructed that we must treat a few guests well. No matter where the guests want to go, we have to accompany them at any ti.”

Chu Nan frowned and glanced at the two of them. When he saw their appearance, he knew that reasoning with them was definitely useless. Therefore, he ignored them and sneered.

“Alright, as long as you can keep up, accompany as you please.”

After saying that, Chu Nan ignored them. His figure moved and he instantly flew up. In the blink of an eye, he flew extrely far and disappeared into the air.

The two of them did not expect Chu Nan to leave so firmly, let alone fly so quickly. After being stunned for a mont, one of them turned to Princess Romanti who had stopped because of this accident with a dark expression and said, “Your Highness, this area is not that safe. Please warn your companion. If he loses our care, he might encounter unexpected danger here.”

Princess Romanti looked at them in amusent, “I’m sorry, he and I don’t have personal terminals, so we can’t inform him. Moreover, he’s not my subordinate, so I can’t control him. If you want to chase after him, go ahead. I’m going to find Uncle Lekas.”

After saying that, Princess Romanti waved at the two of them and left.

The two of them hesitated for a mont before lowering their heads to discuss for a while. They separated from each other. One of them followed in the direction where Princess Romanti had left, and the other stayed where he was. His gaze stopped on Angie Prairie and Carola who stayed behind with wary expressions.

Angie Prairie was originally studying the few strands of hair in her hand when she suddenly raised her head. She smiled at that person and made a face. Then, she ignored him and turned to Carola beside her to send a voice transmission, “Heh, Carola, do you see that? Chu Nan is right. There’s indeed sothing wrong with these guys.”

Carola nodded lightly and looked at that person in silence. However, her eyes beca even sharper than before and her expression beca more vigilant.

Compared to the low-altitude floating shuttle, Chu Nan’s flying speed was much faster. In just ten minutes, he had already flown to the place where he had stepped out of the teleportation door.

However, when he arrived, Chu Nan looked around in the air and could not see any traces of a teleportation door.

The surrounding green grassland stretched endlessly, but where was the light that belonged to the teleportation door?

Although he had a certain premonition, Chu Nan was still shocked to see this situation with his own eyes.

He observed his surroundings and confird that no one was following for the ti being before landing.

According to the surrounding environnt data saved in his mind, he was 100% certain that his current location was where the teleportation door was.

However, there were no traces here now, and it was no different from any place on the grassland.

Chu Nan searched the data in his mind again and confird that there was nothing wrong with his mory. He thought for a mont, squatted down, and stretched out his hand to press on the ground. Then, with a thought, he stretched out his Internal Breath, and the spatial energy around him was triggered.

A mont later, Chu Nan felt a strange energy fluctuation suddenly appear in the space around him.

He was very familiar with this energy fluctuation. It was clearly the sa energy fluctuation the five of them had sensed when they passed through the teleportation door half an hour ago, but it was clearly much weaker.

Chu Nan continued to increase the circulation of his Internal Breath and increase his perception.

As the spatial energy around him surged and accelerated, he indeed sensed more and more strange energy fluctuations. These energy fluctuations were connected one by one and ford a special energy network.

Chu Nan was even more familiar with this energy network. It was very similar to every teleportation door he had passed through previously, but there was a subtle difference.

After detecting this energy network, Chu Nan was even more certain that there should indeed be a teleportation door here, the one they had just walked out of. Now, for so reason, it had been destroyed without any traces.

“If it’s done by Pope Lockmarton and the others, what’s the goal? To trap us here?” Chu Nan was puzzled.

After frowning and thinking for a mont, Chu Nan could not co to a conclusion. On second thought, he suddenly circulated his Internal Breath and instantly completed the circulation of the surrounding sky. He increased his Internal Breath to the strength of the Fourth Revolution Internal Breath and drove a large amount of spatial energy to inject into the teleportation door.

The special light that belonged to the teleportation door lit up and the originally disappeared teleportation door appeared completely again. However, Chu Nan’s figure disappeared at this mont. In the next mont, the teleportation door completely disappeared.

The grassland returned to calm as if nothing had happened.

About five minutes later, two low-altitude floating shuttles flew over from the direction Chu Nan had flown in and the opposite direction and gathered above the teleportation door.

The person who had stopped Chu Nan from leaving and another man in the sa uniform landed from the two shuttles at the sa ti and landed at the location of the teleportation door.

The two of them looked around in confusion.

“Didn’t that guy say that he wanted to co to the teleportation door to take a look? Where is he?”

“Could it be that although he said that he was coming to the teleportation door, he actually ran elsewhere?”

“It’s fine. As long as he’s still on this planet, he definitely can’t escape.”

“Increase the monitoring signal and find him as soon as possible. The Pope said that this kid has a lot to do with Supremacy Mal’s disappearance. We have to ask him about it.”

After a round of discussion, the two of them returned to the shuttles. The two shuttles quickly returned the way they ca.

About ten minutes after they left, the calm grassland suddenly lit up with the light of the teleportation door. Chu Nan’s figure gradually appeared in the light and he stepped out.

After losing the support of Chu Nan’s spatial energy teleportation, the teleportation door quickly dimd and disappeared. Chu Nan turned around and touched his chin with a frown.

The result of passing through the teleportation door was as he had expected. It was the sa as when he fled from Supremacy Mal. As expected, he fell into the alternate space.

Logically speaking, the five of them had co to this teleportation door from the alternate space under the lead of Pope Lockmarton to answer the positive space universe. Then, if they entered the alternate space through this teleportation door, they should have returned to the sa alternate space.

However, after Chu Nan entered the alternate space, he discovered that the situation in the corresponding alternate space was slightly different from the alternate space where the five of them entered the teleportation door. Clearly, it was not exactly the sa.

After thinking for a mont, Chu Nan felt that the reason for such a difference should be the energy supply responsible for maintaining the teleportation door.

After Chu Nan entered the alternate space through the teleportation door, it imdiately lost its energy support and quickly disappeared. Therefore, it was basically equivalent to him directly entering the alternate space corresponding to the location of the teleportation door.

However, if the teleportation door had more energy support, according to the characteristics of the teleportation door, he should have passed through the highly compressed alternate space in the door for a period of ti before being forced to enter.

Thinking of this, when Pope Lockmarton brought them out of the teleportation door just now, it was possible that this teleportation door had a special energy supply outside, so the result of passing through it twice was different.

If he extended his thoughts from this deduction, there would be a very serious problem.

If this was true, it ant that Pope Lockmarton and the others had grasped the technology to provide energy for the teleportation door. The ability Chu Nan and the others had grasped was not the only one.

Most importantly, through this deduction, they could further confirm that it was definitely not a coincidence that Pope Lockmarton appeared. In fact, the spatial turbulence they encountered after entering the 49th floor of the teleportation door was not a coincidence.

All of this was a trap deliberately set by Pope Lockmarton!
