The cultivators were looking all human.
However, once they surrounded the beast, their eyes shone with fire like light that caused their bodies to change. The cracks like magma went across their bodies and the one who had the most of this cracks was the commander.
The fire beast itself was all hot.
It had an image of fat lynx with a strange shell on its back. Its image was still impressive and quite scary, however, no one had such feelings inside. Their goal was to clear this stage and just go back ho!
Before the shell could lit up with similar cracks to their bodies, the cultivators threw themselves at the beast.
Their coordination was very good, but there were evident signs of an exhaustion and tireness. Their cracks lit up around hands and legs eliciting a lot of high pitched sounds. The fire light exploded from these cracks fueling the cultivators with raw power!
The beasts itself just lunged at the closest cultivator to its head.
Overall, the beast was strong enough to face at least 2-3 cultivators, but under such barrage of attacks, its shell nor body couldn't withstand the pressure for too long. Nonetheless, the beast was doing everything for its survival.
Its huge attack wounded the cultivator as he had to fight against its jaw.
The battle of raw strength lasted for a good one minute with all the flas dancing around them. Then, the best had closed its mouth, biting the arm of the cultivator in a most brutal way.
Though he roared, his body was strong. The human looking cultivator exploded with flas from both inside and outside, sacrificing his own arm in the process.
This was what pushed everyone to just deal with the beast.
Their attacks beca much more aggressive and coordinated. Once the shell broke enough to expose more of its inside, the cultivators' flas lit up in a formation and completely killed the beast while leaving the shell's elents intact.
Their main goal was to gather the shell.
The commander has put a high importancy to this very shell, then what was evidently exposed of its body got gathered to their storage rings. The commander made sure that everyone went around just to look at the other parts that might have flew further away from an explosion.
Afterwards, the group of fire cultivators slowly went away in the direction where Xia Feng and Ahrisha ca from.
"Looks like they hunt these beasts for a shell."
"I don't really rember anything about these beasts... My ti was mostly spend in my village, but their clothes... should be from The Lewian Sect."
"Lewian Sect~~ Well, they are strong and ready to work hard, so I guess this is a well prospering sect. Anyway, their goal is to gather the shells and from their exhaustion and desire to co back ho, I could guess they had worked way too hard here, thus, the possiblity of victims is here."

Yet again with his hand being clenched tightly, Xia Feng went around wtih Ahrisha. They naturally went deeper and following the sll of a blood, the erossu duo had found that there were indeed victims here and here.
However, the clothes of the sect are the most important as it can be either the 'defensive equipnt', a proof of an identity or simply both.
Anyway, Xia Feng and Ahrisha had a lot of ti, so they just swept through that forest before facing a beast itself.

The beast is that yo beast for sure.
It roared at the erossu party, but didn't attack imdiately. It was because the clothes of the two were different from the common hunters. If it could just go away, then it would choose to do so! Xia Feng and Ahrisha also didn't seem like cultivators with a clear killing intent.
However, the beast was wary.
Quite a good beast one would say.
"What a good beast. Looks like it can understand as a little."
"Beast, show us a way for the treasure or any special environnt here. We have moved around for a long ti, and even hid like idiots once, so I want a bath."

The beast blinked its eyes, then its fat body turned around. Just like that, the erossu and Ahrisha found themselves in a front of a hot lake that looked like natural hot springs. The beast even entered its itself as if the allure was way too much for it to withstand.
The water spirit didn't wait any second before going all nude!
She sunk in the hot water, then enjoyed its caress after all that moving around in the higher realm! To be honest, Ahrisha could already roughly guess how far away is her ho, so she just decided to chill for now.
And going in between the orders is surely going to attrack the cultivators, as this is what they are cautious about.
Thus, no need to be hasty!
The higher realm had different vibes, whether it's an air or the qi. Everything was better, so this is only a rare chance for Xia Feng to thoroughly enjoy it, or reminisce about. When others turn cos, they won't be able to enjoy the very sa reaction from Xia Feng.
Thus, Ahrisha patted the spot next to her and soon enough, she found herself pressing against Xia Feng's little brother whose state was currently dormant.
This is a rest and the erossu had that control.
With his head laying on the lawn, Xia Feng muttered a words that caused the beast to tremble.
"Weren't you looking for sothing? If you were looking for your friend, then it's dead."
"..."
The fat lynx let out a sad voice, then its small tail flapped the water. It thanked the erossu for this information, then continued to grieve alone in the corner of the hot bath. One might think that the hot bath ended with a dual cultivation full of love.
But the truth was that the erossu and his water spirit just continued to stay close to each other till the night over the sky.
