Chapter 44: Su Yu’s Crisis
“It’s okay, Qingqing, you should go ho and rest. I can go by myself,” Su Yu said after so hesitation.
She knew that Lin Qingqing was afraid that sothing would happen to her, but what could happen when she went for a blood transfusion?
Plus, she was certain that Fu Yunian’s assistant was on the other end of the phone.
Lin Qingqing furrowed her brows and acted coquettishly as she said, “Just let tag along so I can be at ease.”
“If you’re really worried, I can send you a ssage to let you know that I’m safe.”
No matter how much Lin Qingqing tried to persuade her, Su Yu refused to let her tag along. This gave Lin Qingqing a headache, but she didn’t pester her.
She was well aware of Su Yu’s personality. If she couldn’t, then she couldn’t. But, she didn’t say that she couldn’t secretly follow her.
Lin Qingqing was secretly happy, but she pretended to compromise. After she helped Su Yu into the car, she quickly drove behind her.
It was already noon, but Su Yu didn’t have ti to eat. She even drove straight through traffic lights.
When she finally reached Li Ping Hospital, she imdiately called to ask which floor she was on.
“Miss Su, Mr. Fu is on the 5th floor. Hurry up.”
“OK, I’ll be right there!” Su Yu anxiously hung up the phone as she quickened her pace.
She was nervous because she didn’t know how to face Fu Yunian.
As the elevator numbers continued to move up, she beca increasingly anxious.
Ding —
As soon as the elevator doors opened, two masked n that had been waiting outside covered Su Yu’s mouth to stop her from screaming.
“Mmmm… Mmmm…”
Su Yu didn’t have ti to react before her hands and feet were tied and she couldn’t move at all.
The two masked n had obviously familiarized themselves with the terrain and dragged Su Yu to the nearest room.
As soon as they entered the room, the masked n locked the door.
Only then did Su Yu realize that the blood transfusion was fake and that the target was her!
She imdiately cald down and gestured for the masked man to remove the tape from her mouth. She had sothing to say.
The two looked at each other. The tall man nodded his head before the other man removed the tape from Su Yu’s mouth.
“What do you want to say?” The tall man asked disdainfully.
His voice shocked Su Yu. It was exactly the sa as Fu Yunian’s assistant’s voice.
But, she was certain that the man in front of her wasn’t Fu Yunian’s assistant.
How could there be such a coincidence in this world…
No, this was definitely not a coincidence!
Su Yu’s expression darkened as she said, “I know that you want money. Everything can be discussed. I can give you double the amount whoever sent you here can.”
If they were working for soone else, double the amount of money would be a huge temptation.
But, to Su Yu’s shock, the tall man smiled wickedly and shook his head.
He gestured for the other man to move quickly, otherwise it wouldn’t be good for them.
Just as Su Yu helplessly closed her eyes, the locked door was kicked open.
“How dare you hurt my sister? Do you want to die?”
As soon as she said this, the two n were kicked to the ground.
Su Yu opened her eyes and to her astonishnt, she saw Lingan.
“Lingan?”
Su Lingan asked the security guards behind him to tie up the two n on the ground before he rushed over to untie Su Yu.
“Don’t be afraid. Sorry for coming late. Don’t be afraid,” Su lingan comforted Su Yu like she was a child.
Su Yu, who had always been tough, couldn’t hold it in any longer. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she sobbed quietly.
