He is afraid that once he loses his focus, his baby will be in danger!

"Holy shit!" The celestial fox spirit paused in wonder as he felt his baby siphon his mana.
The previous prodding danger he once felt was replaced by disbelief and relief.

Shen Yuan heard a shuffling sound. Yanyan tearfully ca in, his smartphone in hand.
"Daddy!" Yanyan imdiately threw his little body at Shen Yuan.
Shen Yuan protectively caught him using his tails and wiped the boy’s fat tears.
"I was scared, Daddy! I thought sothing horrible went wrong with your training... I-I—" The five-year-old cried miserably in his oga father’s arms.
"Nothing bad happened to Daddy," Shen Yuan coaxed his boy. He stood up and spun around to demonstrate that he was fine.
"It’s just that your baby sibling gave us a big surprise." He mysteriously explained to his son. "Your baby sibling turned out to be a glutton."
"Huh?" Little Yanyan rubbed his nose, confusedly tilting his head to Shen Yuan’s way.
Shen Yuan laughed at his son’s cuteness. "Don’t overthink it, son. Just know that your Daddy and baby sibling are okay."
Yanyan pouted his lips and nodded. "As long as everything is okay, Yanyan is happy..."
The little boy hugged his Dad’s neck, and that was when Shen Yuan heard the voice coming from the smartphone.
"Yanyan, who were you talking to on the phone?"
"It’s Papa," Yanyan looked at Shen Yuan with eyes so innocent they looked like they belonged to angels.
"Oh, shi—" Shen Yuan froze in panic. With how strict his husband was about his health, if Bai Tingfeng misunderstood this situation, who knew what chaos would follow?
And so, the celestial fox spirit scrambled to answer the phone, hoping to save his tails from any future trouble.

In the end, Shen Yuan found himself checking into his Ob-Gyn’s clinic.

The doctor moved the transducer over Shen Yuan’s gel-slick stomach. The three of them held their breath, watching as the blurry shapes on the ultrasound machine’s screen sharpened into sothing recognisable.
"The baby is growing fine."
Only when this statent dropped did Shen Yuan, Bai Tingfeng and Yanyan sigh in relief.
Yanyan made a silly dance, hopping towards his Daddy. "Yanyan is so happy! Nothing bad happened to my baby sibling! Yey!"
He fawningly rubbed his face on his Daddy’s hand and looked at the screen. This is his first ti seeing a fetus. He was very curious what his baby sibling looked like.
And he was at a loss...
