Bai Tingfeng may let Shen Yuan go, but his mind never ceased thinking about his husband.

That’s why when he noticed the unsettling silence that followed the grand magic that he believed to belong to his husband, he wasted no ti and rushed to check on his husband.

"Papa! Please hurry up!" Of course, the sa goes for their son.

Little Yanyan was riding on his father’s shoulders. His eyes were glistening with determination as if he was a warrior riding a war horse. The wind didn’t bother him at all, as a white aura was protecting him.

The little boy didn’t let his papa go by himself. He wanted to see that his daddy was doing well and not injured in any way.

The child may not have put his worries into words, but the last ti Shen Yuan got confined to the hospital left a deep impression on him, and he didn’t want that to happen the second ti.

Bai Tingfeng has the sa concern, which shows in his spine-breaking speed run.

However, before they even reach the woods where Shen Yuan disappeared, a strong wind suddenly passes them.

At first, Bai Tingfeng thought it was just a mountain wind blowing, but when he heard a familiar voice calling him, he imdiately paused on his track.

"Bai Tingfeng?!" the exact person they worry about called his na.

Relief imdiately washed over him when he saw that Shen Yuan was back.

Bai Tingfeng’s first response was to smile at his beloved oga, but when the other hurriedly went to him and grabbed him by the wrist, he imdiately knew that sothing was up.

"You dumb jerk! Why did you co here?!" Shen Yuan said in a high-pitched voice. He pulled his husband and son and ran away with them, dread and desperation evident in his face.

"Wait, Yuan. What is going on? What happened to the mastermind behind this attack? Did you beat the necromancer?"

Shen Yuan clicked his tongue and gritted his teeth.

"Yes, I already beaten that cursed b—, but this isn’t the ti for that!"

The celestial fox spirit’s eyes are red and glassy.

No, he isn’t on the verge of crying. It is more accurate to say that his eyes looked like they were about to pop out of their sockets due to extre frustration and anger!

For the first ti in a long ti, he felt his entire body tingling due to nervousness.

"We must round everyone up and get the hell out of here because they intend to blow this area up!"

Bai Tingfeng and Yanyan flinched when they heard Shen Yuan’s statent.

"What?"

"Daddy?!"

Right, when assassination attempts failed, the damned assassins of the Cardinals dared to do sothing so shaless and drastic.

Shen Yuan explained to Bai Tingfeng what happened while he boosted their speed with his magic, and he simply couldn’t stop his blood pressure from skyrocketing when rembering it all.

"This isn’t just a threat, Shen Yuan. In under ten minutes, a bomb I planted sowhere in this land will explode. It’s a mana bomb, to be exact. I think you should be familiar with it since the materials made with it helped you beco an S-class awakener."

"Have you ever heard about hyperreactive mana stones?" The assassin nacingly said to Shen Yuan, and that is the part when he lost it.

Even though he didn’t have any recollections of the final monts of the original Shen Yuan, he was more or less aware of why this body beca an empty vessel for him. The mana overload caused by prolonged exposure to a massive amount of mana killed him.

It was determined that it happened because he stayed near the concentrated mana from the forming dungeon. Still, later on, thanks to Chairman Mao’s investigation, it was revealed that Shen Yuan’s mana overload and the dungeon were just the product of a failed summoning ritual by the Cardinals.

And the material that is closely tied to this incident (according to theories) is sothing called hyperreactive mana stone!

As of late, it is still a mystery to the Hunter Association how that stone could open a dungeon, but the fact that it has the ability to do so demonstrates how dangerous it could be.

Put a highly potent hyperreactive mana stone into a bomb, and all Shen Yuan could imagine was hell on earth.

That’s why, after bombing Cardinal Pink Hair and his subordinate with heavenly foxfire, he imdiately turned his heels to look for his family.

It’s no use trying to press them for answers such as the exact ti of its detonation. Obviously, that assassin gave vague details to shake him off their tails.

Didn’t he want to run away with that emotionally unstable cardinal?

So be it! He would give them the chance to escape, but they would get that only if they stayed alive after his barrage of heavenly foxfire.

Anyway, he is a family man before becoming an agent for the Hunter Association.

Shen Yuan told everything to husband and son.

Yanyan looked at his daddy with adoration and distress. He only wished he was big enough to help his parents deal with bad guys.

On the other hand, Bai Tingfeng, who is also quick on the uptake, realized that they are in a precarious situation.

"Are there any chances we could find and disarm it?" The alpha father took his son and settled him in his arms, protectively hugging him.

Yanyan, on the other hand, zipped his mouth and didn’t dare interrupt the serious talk between his parents.

Shen Yuan shook his head, "We don’t have the luxury of ti. This bomb is sothing new, and we don’t have anyone skilled enough in tracking and disarming the bomb. The best that we can do if we are lucky enough to find it is to throw it high up in the air."

"But first things first. We need to evacuate everyone!"

Hearing Shen Yuan’s plan, Bai Tingfeng went ahead, determined to take charge.

He is the father and supposedly the walls and the beams that support and protect this ho. That’s why he didn’t dare show panic in these trying tis.

With their speed and desperation, three minutes was enough for them to reach the villa.

"Everyone! Drop all your things and gather up! We have to evacuate this place. There is a mana bomb planted sowhere here, and it will detonate any ti soon—" Bai Tingfeng’s voice thundered, and it struck everyone who heard this like lightning.

Thankfully, everyone was trained to keep their cool in tis of crisis. No one panicked and started evacuating the premises.

However, it seems like the heavens are not on their side as they suddenly feel a pulsating mana coming from the northern woodland in the back of the villa.

It gives an unsettling feeling that causes everyone to have goosebumps.

It’s a feeling that a person feels when sothing catastrophic is about to happen.

"Ah! This wind feels so weird!" Yanyan complained, snuggling closer to his father’s chest. A child who hasn’t awakened or felt mana before felt energy waves.

"Under ten minutes, huh?! It’s only a little over seven minutes from the ti he said that!"

Shen Yuan his eyes ford into slits. He didn’t miss a bit and imdiately tore a long piece of cloth from his traditional hanfu and cut it into four small pieces. He then wrote a few characters in it to create protective talismans.

It was unknown to him if a multi-layered shield from a protective talisman could withstand the explosion.

’If push cos to shove, I might try absorbing them to my tail. I am positive that my spirit could handle this much mana. However, I haven’t completely assimilated with this body! There’s a possibility that this body would break once my spirit becos stronger due to the amount of mana!’

There’s a balance to everything. That’s why only a strong body can handle a strong spirit.

If the celestial fox spirit went on with this backup plan, then that goes without saying that he would be ejected out of this body!

What about the dick?! He finally found the man who loved and could satisfy him with his big, juicy manhood. No gay would be willing to lose that!

Shen Yuan was deeply contemplating when suddenly, a broad chest obscured his vision. He felt his son suddenly in his arms, and a soft whisper caressed his ears.

"Don’t worry, you got . Everything will be fine," Bai Tingfeng shoved him inside the vehicle.

Shen Yuan didn’t have the ti to respond because it happened so fast, and the next thing he knew was that the talismans he had created were now missing and the door closing on his face!

The pulsating energy intensified.

"Bai Tingfeng!"

"Papa!"

Shen Yuan and Yanyan called the alpha. Fear is vividly painted on their faces.

Bai Tingfeng doesn’t have any plans to die now. But that doesn’t an he will let his husband and son perish in this explosion. He will protect them at all costs!

That is his last thought before a golden light shone in the sky, engulfing the entirety of Rong Shan Villa.

"Bai Tingfeng, you idiot! Get back here!" Shen Yuan scread at the top of his lungs.

Fuck! He is not ready to be a widow in this lifeti!
