"Mom, did you talk to Dad about what I ntioned?" Olivia Song took a sip of water, her voice lodious, staring intently at the woman.

Sammie Ziegler sat elegantly, her face full of a doting smile.

"Yes, your dad also thinks it’s doable."

Olivia was not surprised by this outco; her father prioritized benefits above all else, making it impossible for him to refuse her proposal.

"Olivia," Sammie called softly, voicing the question in her heart, "Why did you choose the Yang family for Claire Green? They’re considered second-rate in Bayne City."

In her opinion, even the Yang family was too good; soone like Claire Green deserved to be paired with the worst person.

Olivia didn’t comnt on her words. The Yang family was indeed wealthy, but they were also the best choice.

Her straightforward words carried a sinister edge, "So what if they have money? That man from the Yang family has a tendency towards sexual violence. I just want to see Claire Green suffer."

Thinking about how Claire would live in despair after tomorrow, a tiny thread of pleasure rose in her heart.

Abandoned as she was, how could she gain that man’s affection? Claire Green could only forever live under her own shadow.

Sammie Ziegler laughed at the words, not finding Olivia Song’s actions cruel at all.

"Alright, as long as my Olivia is happy."

Olivia threw herself into her embrace, chuckling, "Thanks, Mom."

...

"Olivia, should we go check out Holywood?"

Isabella Xyler rested her chin in her palm, speaking softly.

Claire Green raised her head unhurriedly, her brow low, "Check out what? Do you have sothing you want to buy?"

When she finished speaking.

Isabella sighed, staring at her in exasperation, "You’re the one buying. Aren’t you going to Song Manor tonight? You definitely need to dress up."

"I agree with that suggestion," John Sinclair said clearly.

Sebastian Winn remained silent, but his face also showed agreent.

"I’m going to crash the party; dressing up would make it inconvenient," Claire Green said with a rebellious expression, her voice rather indifferent.

The three exchanged glances; crashing a party ans needing to dress up more, right?

She must outshine Olivia Song.

"Are you planning to wear your school uniform?" Isabella moved her eyes, an earnest look in them.

"Isn’t that okay?" Claire Green smirked in response.

"Of course not."

With that, Isabella stood up, pulling her up and striding out.

John Sinclair and the others, seeing this, quickly followed.

When the teacher ca to class, they found four fewer students; seeing the empty seats, the teacher’s forehead creased tightly.

The three who dislike studying took the one with good grades to skip class, utterly outrageous.

...

Claire Green was dragged out of the school gate, looking at them in amazent.

They seed more concerned than she was.

Holywood Mansion.

Isabella Xyler clung to Claire Green’s arm, her smile never leaving her face.

Behind them, John Sinclair saw the two like conjoined twins, a smile flickering in his eyes.

Olivia seed more personable now than she did when they first t.

"That store looks good; let’s have a look."

Isabella pointed to the store ahead, tilting her head to ask.

Claire Green casually said, "Whatever."

As they entered the store, the sales assistant was stunned; are high school students this attractive nowadays?

"What type are you looking to buy?"

The assistant, regaining composure, followed them, ready to assist.

"We’ll browse ourselves; you can continue with your tasks!"

Hearing this, the assistant wisely stopped following.

Isabella Xyler’s gaze swept over and finally stopped on the right.

"Take that one down," she pointed to a dress and instructed.

The assistant swiftly handed over the dress she held.

"Claire, you try it on."

Isabella stuffed the dress into Claire Green’s hands, pushing her towards the dressing room.

Soon.

Claire Green erged in the outfit, and everyone in the store was stunned.

The girl’s face was bare yet strikingly beautiful, her cat-like eyes holding a hint of allure, captivating hearts.

A red dress perfectly showcased her figure, her graceful swan neck enviable, her collarbone distinct, exuding a lazy charm.

"Claire, I suddenly think school uniforms actually aren’t bad."

Isabella, coming back to her senses, imdiately regretted it.

Claire looked too tempting in this; if Julian found out, she’d be in trouble.

Claire Green glanced at her, speaking lazily, "I think this is decent, fitting for your idea of fancy-dressing-up."

The last words she enunciated, her tone playful.

"Olivia, don’t you think wearing this will affect your performance," Sebastian tried to find reasons, finally speaking up.

"Now, not so much, let’s go pay."

As they exited with their purchases, Isabella’s heart remained tense.

Oh no, I’ve caused trouble.

Maybe I should take a leave and hide.

Claire Green glanced at the ti, pondering a few seconds whether to call him.

But just then.

The phone rang, seeing the caller ID, Claire Green smiled.

"Skipping class?" Julian Sia’s voice rose at the end, asking nonchalantly.

"Yeah, I’m going to Song Manor tonight."

Julian paused, imdiately standing, "Where are you?"

Claire Green raised her brow, "Holywood, are you coming with ?"

"Wait there, not too comfortable letting you go alone, worry you’ll be wronged," his voice low and straightforward.

Claire paused; in her two lifetis, it was the first ti she heard soone afraid she’d be wronged.

Steadying her mind, she softly replied, ending the call.

...

Julian ca quickly, along with Mason Quinn and George Xyler.

Seeing the other two, Claire Green’s eyebrows lifted, tonight was going to be lively.

"Claire Green, what are you going to Song Manor for?"

Mason, hands in pockets, asked casually.

"To crash the party," Claire Green’s voice indifferent.

Mason, hearing this, was amused.

More drama to watch.

In the end, Claire Green didn’t wear that dress because when a certain man saw her changed appearance, his face imdiately darkened.

Until they reached outside Song Manor, the low pressure around Julian hadn’t dissipated.

Isabella glanced over, feeling inexplicably guilty.

At the sa ti at Song Manor.

Olivia Song wore a white dress, a crown on her head, elegantly chatting with people.

"The girl from the Song family is really beautiful."

"Not only is she pretty, but she’s also excellent in her studies."

"I hear she’s acting now; could the Song family be venturing into the entertainnt industry?"

Several n in suits, holding champagne, idly chatted.

The door suddenly opened.

Everyone in the hall turned to see Claire Green and her group, a mix of surprise and curiosity.

Who are these people?

Amidst their puzzlent, Olivia Song smiled gracefully, walking forward to introduce.

"This is Claire Green; you could say she’s like a sister to ."

At her words.

All the guests understood; there had been talk of the Song family having an adopted daughter but never seen, and now that they did, since her face alone eclipsed all the socialites in the upper circle.

"Stop claiming ties, with what right do you act like you’re our Olivia’s sister," John Sinclair coldly mocked.

As soon as he spoke, recognition sparked; wasn’t this the guy from the Sinclair family.

Looking closely, even the young master of the Winn family was there, and people couldn’t help but ponder how this adopted daughter could associate with the Sinclair and Winn families; apparently, their relationship was quite good.

"John Sinclair," a hint of coldness flashed in Olivia Song’s eyes.
