"The chubby guy’s right, hurry, call Claire."

As soon as he finished speaking, a soft voice suddenly broke in.

"What’s up?"

Upon hearing the familiar voice, everyone from Class 6 imdiately looked over.

They saw a girl with a black backpack slung over one shoulder, her hair casually tied up, but her pretty features were showing a hint of annoyance.

The surrounding atmosphere had a chilling pressure, like solid ice.

Sebastian Winn was dazed for two seconds, quickly snapping back to reality, "Claire, John just stord out in a rage, probably heading to Class 1 to cause trouble."

Upon hearing this.

Claire Green’s lips curved into a thin, cold smile. She casually tossed the backpack to soone as she slid her hands into her pockets and turned on her heel with a purposeful stride.

Chen Hao looked at the bag in his arms, montarily at a loss.

"Chubby, Claire’s bag..."

Before he could finish, Sebastian dashed past him like the wind.

"What now?" Chen Hao muttered the unfinished question.

"Just put it on Claire’s desk," Harry Lewis suggested with a thoughtful tap on his chin.

"But what if there’s sothing important in there?" Chen Hao shook his head.

As soon as he said that.

A girl in the class suddenly spoke up, "Don’t worry, if there were anything important, Claire wouldn’t throw her bag to you so casually."

Besides, with so many of them around, no one could possibly touch Claire’s stuff under their watchful eyes.

Chen Hao thought it over and realized it made sense, but why did he still feel a bit disappointed?

After placing the bag properly, everyone instinctively took out their unfinished test papers from yesterday and began working on them.

But their eyes kept glancing toward the door.

...

Class 1 was unusually noisy, filled with gasps and curses.

"Who would’ve thought she was that kind of person? Pretty ones are always dangerous."

"Wow, how could she even do that? From her expression, it’s probably not her first ti."

"Olivia, sothing like this happened and you didn’t tell anyone?"

Olivia Song heard the voices around her, a fleeting smile passed beneath her eyes.

She slightly pressed her lips, forcing a smile, "I didn’t want to trouble everyone over this. Besides, it’s already in the past, let’s not discuss it anymore."

Suddenly.

Bang!

The classroom door was kicked open with a loud noise.

It caused students from other classes to co rushing over to watch the commotion, and upon seeing who it was, so quickly turned and ran to the office.

Everyone looked over to see John Sinclair walking towards them with a dark, angry expression.

Before anyone could react, he kicked over Olivia Song’s desk.

"The video online, you posted it."

John glared at her with fierce eyes, his fists clenched tightly, veins popping.

Olivia Song offered a gentle smile, tucking a loose hair behind her ear, "John, it’s not wrong to stand up for Claire, but you can’t bla everything on ."

The video was hers, but she didn’t post it.

Finally.

John smirked, "Trying to play gas with , really think I don’t hit won?"

As he finished talking.

A crisp slap landed directly on Olivia Song’s face.

Gasp.

Everyone sucked in a cold breath.

Although John had a bad temper before, he never hit won, but today he actually did.

"John, are you insane?" Olivia Song held her slapped face, unable to keep up her facade, and spoke furiously.

"That’s right, so if you want to keep testing my patience, see what I do next." John rubbed his wrist, suggesting it with an innocent expression.

Rae Zander finally snapped out of the shock, pushing John aside and standing in front of Olivia Song.

"John, what’s so great about Claire Green that she’s worth all this protection from you?"

Unexpectedly.

Upon seeing Rae, John’s aura grew even more nacing, "Ha, I forgot about you. You’re in on this too, huh?"

Intimidated by his deanor, Rae Zander shrank back a little, but thinking of the girl behind her, she gathered her courage to speak.

"We had nothing to do with the video online; we only heard about it after coming to the classroom. If you don’t believe , ask the others."

After saying that, Rae Zander instantly stood up straighter, realizing he had no proof, what was there to fear?

"The others," John’s cold gaze swept around, "who are you referring to?"

The classmates avoided his gaze, imdiately lowering their heads; no one dared to testify.

Despite John’s temper having llowed since Claire’s arrival, now that he looked terrifying again, who would dare cross him?

Rae Zander seethed internally at the sight, calling them all cowards.

"Getting soone to maliciously edit, pretty smart, huh? Want a recap of what really happened that day?"

John stepped on the overturned desk, smirking sarcastically at the pair.

At that mont, Lia Zeller hurriedly entered with her fellow classmates, seeing the ss in front of Olivia Song, she scolded angrily.

"John, this is a school, not your house. Publicly humiliating a fellow student—I guess you no longer want to study here."

John dismissed it, "Even if I’m unhappy and buy out Brightsong, what then?"

"You..." Lia Zeller was too angry to speak, her whole body shaking as she glared at him.

The atmosphere suddenly dropped to freezing, everyone’s breathing beca shallow.

Just then.

Behind Rae Zander, Olivia Song spoke with a face full of grievance, "John, you said I posted it, where’s your proof?"

Seeing her act so two-faced, John laughed mockingly, "Two can play at that ga."

"John, co back."

Suddenly, a cool, lazy voice drifted over.

John turned to see Claire Green, who had shown up out of nowhere, and the fierce look in his eyes imdiately gave way to sheepishness.

He scratched his head, moving slowly with reluctance.

"Claire, good morning, want so candy?"

John pulled out a handful of candy from his pocket, grinning widely at the girl.

Everyone watching drew a sharp breath.

Where’s your pride, John?

Monts ago you were cocky and arrogant, now you’ve turned into a ek little lamb in Claire’s presence.

Claire Green glanced at him with amused, cold eyes, speaking indifferently, "It’s just an animal, was it worth the effort?"

John chuckled slowly at this, "Claire’s right. I’ll wash my hands later, don’t want them slling bad."

Everyone saw the two playing off each other and couldn’t help but glance at a certain person, starting to feel pity.

After all, she was the heiress of the Song in Bayne City, but now being bullied and called an animal by an adopted daughter—how did the Songs co to adopt her in the first place?

Dark currents flickered beneath Olivia Song’s eyes, she bit her lip, her voice quivering, "Claire, if insulting makes you feel better, I’m willing even if it’s humiliating."

As she finished, everyone imdiately looked at Claire Green with changed eyes.

Unbothered by their looks, Claire showed frosty indifference in her delicately cold eyes, speaking lightly.

"Nowadays, soone’s actually begging for humiliation, how sick."

"Might be a masochist." John taunted in agreent.

Lia Zeller glared at them with eyebrows furrowed in anger, squeezing out words through gritted teeth, "Claire Green, John Sinclair, do you two want to make this a big issue and disgrace the whole school?"

Claire Green lazily tossed a piece of candy into her mouth, scanning the room nonchalantly, "If you’re concerned about this, Miss Zeller, maybe you should be more worried about the current online reputation of your prized student."

Saying this, her cold gaze swept over Olivia Song before leisurely leading John away.

What did Claire Green an—was there another scandal online?

Olivia Song’s apricot eyes shrunk slightly, feeling an ominous foreboding spreading inside her.

Suddenly.

A familiar voice emanated from soone’s phone, followed by various curses and Claire Green’s statents.

Even after the audio stopped, they couldn’t snap back to reality.

The new video released online was overwhelmingly revealing. Previously it was a story of an adopted daughter bullying the heiress, but now it suddenly turned to say that the reason the Song family adopted Claire Green was to make her a blood bank for Olivia Song.

After a long pause.

One student finally spoke up stiffly, "Olivia, is what the video says true?"

Olivia Song, with red-rimd eyes, looked at the doubtful expressions around her, then left in distress after sobbing out one last sentence.

"No, drawing blood is illegal, how could we knowingly break the law?"
