"Long ti no see, sorry to trouble you this ti."

Thomas Skin greeted the girl who walked in.

"Took the money, so after-sales service is sowhat guaranteed." Claire Green raised her eyebrows, speaking with intent.

Upon hearing this.

Thomas Skin rembered the billions he spent and began to feel the sting again.

"Give the report," Claire Green glanced around the laboratory in front of her, a hint of appreciation revealed in her eyes.

It’s truly worthy of M Country’s ancient family, their financial power is indeed different. Just these instrunts are worth over a hundred billion.

It seems that the six billion she asked for might still be a bit too little.

Thomas Skin had no clue what she was thinking now; if he knew, he would definitely regret bringing her to the lab.

He beckoned, and a man in a work suit stepped forward and handed over the report.

Claire Green lowered her gaze, casually flipping through the report in her hand, in the end, she roughly had a direction.

"A laboratory." She said indifferently.

Soon, Thomas Skin arranged a private laboratory for her, watching the girl in work attire, he asked softly, "How long will it take?"

Claire Green furrowed her brows, contemplated for two seconds, then said calmly, "At the latest, tomorrow."

"Alright, I won’t interrupt you then."

Thomas Skin slowly left, closing the door for her as he went out.

As soon as he turned around, he faced a group of colleagues looking at him gossipingly.

"President, the research directions and data you provided, are they really written by her?"

"Wow, the young lady doesn’t look that old, if I may ask, boss, does she have a boyfriend now?"

Thomas Skin felt his head throb with each comnt from everyone, he frowned slightly annoyed, "If you’re so gossip-loving, why still be a researcher? Might as well change careers to be paparazzi."

Imdiately, everyone dared not make a sound, fearing that he’d really kick them out if they annoyed him.

The old Tom tsked and sighed, "As expected from the president, his authority really stands out."

Thomas Skin shot him a cold look and then, under the gaze of everyone, grabbed old Tom by the collar and dragged him out.

"Damn, Thomas, are you crazy? Let go."

"I’m your bro, don’t you understand respecting the old and cherishing the young?"

"You want to respect you? Sure, when you stop causing trouble."

The conversation between the two kept flowing into everyone’s ears until it went silent.

Everyone exchanged glances and returned to their seats to resu their day-to-day work.

Claire Green lazily typed a piece of code on the computer; with a press of the spacebar, the computer began to run autonomously.

Then she turned her attention to the instrunt on the side, starting to conduct experints.

Not long after, the computer suddenly beeped, Claire Green looked at the screen and chuckled lightly, just as she thought, there’s a small problem here.

Imdiately, her fingers flew across the keyboard, the previous code on the computer vanished and was replaced with a string of new characters.

After solving the code’s issue, she imrsed herself in the experint again, testing repeatedly.

...

"Julian, is your little ancestor out again?"

Mason Quinn looked around without seeing Claire Green and couldn’t help but ask the man on the sofa.

Julian Sia glanced at him calmly, "You’re quite attentive to Claire."

The words just fell.

Mason Quinn instantly jumped, "Heaven knows, I absolutely don’t."

It’s not that he thinks his life is too long; besides Julian, he couldn’t handle Claire’s temper.

"Mason, you’d better talk less in the future, if needed, go get your eyes checked," George Xyler said with a smile.

This guy really didn’t notice Julian’s bad mood, yet he kept showing up.

Mason cursed softly, "So you’re calling blind."

George Xyler gave him a glance and then turned his gaze to the man, "Julian, recently, the House of Goodman has been frequently interacting with Hyacinth Manor, do you want soone to deal with it?"

After a pause.

Julian Sia’s deep voice carried a hint of ruthlessness, "No need, I want to see what waves the Goodman family can stir up by climbing up to Hyacinth."

"The House of Goodman has long been on the brink, yet they’re still rushing to their doom. Tsk, tsk, what are those people even thinking?"

Mason Quinn took a bite of an apple; although unclear, one could hear the schadenfreude in his tone.

Ever since Julian acted, although he didn’t directly make the House of Goodman bankrupt, they’ve been teetering on the edge of bankruptcy. Playing their cards on Hyacinth Manor now, it’s like skinning a tiger, likely ending in an even worse fate.

"Alexander Goodman had too much ambition," George Xyler said ambiguously, but the aning was clear.

At this ti, Caleb Green walked in with a heavy face, holding sothing.

"Julian, is Miss Green here?"

Julian Sia’s gaze was faint as he stared at him, his voice slightly chilly, "She’s not here, do you need sothing?"

"I need her to confirm sothing important."

Caleb Green placed a file on the table, "This is information my people have found. According to the welfare ho’s director, Claire was found at the door. The director saw a jade pendant carved with the Green family’s symbol in her arms, and she was found in July, so they nad her Claire Green."

The next words need not be said; Julian and the others understood.

"So, what are you intending to confirm?" Mason Quinn glanced at the docunts in front of him without opening them, turned his head, and asked.

"Whether she has a birthmark."

Julian Sia’s gaze suddenly turned icy, the pressure around him so cold that it could freeze people.

Mason Quinn thought, since when did Caleb beco so stubborn, daring to ask such a question in front of Julian.

No man would want the girl he likes to be asked if she has a birthmark, even if the person asking could potentially be her future brother-in-law.

"Caleb, I think this question is inappropriate for you to ask, maybe let Julian ask for you."

George Xyler gave him a look and spoke to ease the atmosphere.

Caleb Green imdiately realized his previous question had a bit of an issue. He awkwardly touched his nose, and tentatively spoke to the man.

"Julian, what do you think?"

The hall gradually quieted down; all eyes were on Julian.

After a while, they finally heard an indifferent answer.

"Alright."

Seeing the atmosphere finally relaxing, Mason Quinn sighed in relief and suddenly thought of sothing. He looked at the person next to him, smiling as he asked.

"Caleb, how’s that little rascal Benjamin doing lately?"

Caleb Green laughed upon hearing his question, "Do you guys rember how he almost developed a phobia after nearly getting kissed by a little girl?"

"Yes, could it be..." Mason Quinn nodded, then suddenly widened his eyes.

"That’s right, he’s in the sa class with that little girl again this ti, and on the very first night, he told he didn’t want to go to school anymore, but I didn’t agree," Caleb Green also didn’t expect the two kids to have such fate, his eyes brimd with laughter.

Upon hearing this, Julian Sia’s eyes showed a faint smile; the little rascal might end up being introverted now.

"It seems so fates are unavoidable," George Xyler joked uncontrollably.

Benjamin Green hadn’t been to school for so long, and upon returning, he ends up in the sa class as his shadow, tsk, truly fate is destined.

The words finished.

The n all simultaneously broke into smiles.
